61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Trade cryptocurrencies comfortably with profit on: October 16, 2018, 11:01:30 AM
Try to get 2% - 5% gains every day when trading, don't trade for coins that have a history of low volume because it is not safe. You can read it more about it on my thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5048299.msg46755579#msg46755579

This method works best for me.
62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Bitcoin socialist dream come true ? on: October 16, 2018, 10:46:40 AM
The main problem with socialism is the centralization, and I my opinion socialism can work on a decentralized system like (blockchain). Now the question is how?

Ok look at miners, let put in perspective and say they work like the gold miners, but still they are a lot different. Gold miners are mining gold a natural resource, where bitcoin miners are just there for security, that is why they get the rewards for every transaction and new btc. For mining Gold, you need human resources, machinery, transport, storage, on another side for bitcoin you need computers and electricity, no transport, and no storage ( 185 gigabytes for September 2018, this is still nothing).

Gold is used mainly for jewelry! The gold standard was once used by many nations, but it eventually became too cumbersome and is no longer used by any nation. Now gold is used for investment, people on the stock market guessing when the price goes up and down, that is it (same as Bitcoin ). Gold is used in manufacturing but not in huge masses.

Ok, now when people say

Quote
MINERS = CAPITAL

It is all the perspective how you look at it, what if a small city around (40.000) people, make they own mining farm, everybody invest and everybody gets the returns from the mining firm through their app, now you look at miners like a perspective of a socialist, the more trades happening, the more rewards are giving out. And you have some basic universal income, now it isn't much (it can be in 10 years) but with bitcoin, let not forget, you can access the global market (trading for other coins, tokens). There are cloud mining options but those are trying to make a profit from you, option above is less risky and when executed right can be better than the cloud mining options. Now everyone gets a cut of the global trade. You killed the need for banks, savings billions of dollars, and let us be honest, banks are doing nothing productive for the society. This is way ICO is great, you can access the global economy with few clicks, if you need a credit to start a business, buy a house, etc. Crowdfunding is the future (and crowdfunding in the core of socialism and a little bit of capitalism). Capitalism is not bad, but capitalism and globalism is a recipe for disaster. You can see it by looking at income inequality, lobbying, climate change, wars.

In the end, it is how you see the world, nothing more or less.

63  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking For Investment for my project walletplus.io on: October 15, 2018, 10:23:08 AM
So let me say, you are building a social media platform on the blockchain? I think it will make a lot sense if you can detail more about your project, it will help the prospect investors to understand the problem you identified and how you are going to solve it with your solution. If you can do that, then your idea is good, I will surely invest.

waiting for your update.

Glad to hear you are interested, we have this thread where we answer some questions https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5046995.msg46693935#msg46693935,

1. you are building a social media platform on the blockchain? We don't believe that blockchain is the real solutions for our platform right now because it needs to handle a million requests, and that is something that blockchain can't do right now. Centralized is faster for content delivery, maybe in the future.

Our main focus is to bring bitcoin to the mainstream public, and we are developing an algorithm that will secure store your private keys, and that you can redeem your private key, even if your hardware gets lost or destroyed without a centralized authority. We are working right now on a prototype with Raspberry PI, but this needs still more work.

We believe a wallet can be more, not only for sending/recovering bitcoin, trading, it can be a new way to connect people and allow free movement of money, where the community regulate itself, and where the trust is built on working together. Our platform will have features that the millionaires would love. We want to combine the power of social networking with finance, we believe that is the next step. Social Networking started with Friendster, then moved to mySpace, than to Facebook and in the future to WalletPlus.

Combining social media platform with bitcoin is a win-win situation for content creators and for the consumer of the content. Our platform would reward content creators with instant access to their earnings, where at youtube, you need to wait a month to be payout and have at least earnings of $75 (plus you are limited where you live!), where on our platform, you could payout instantly, you just need to have the amount of bitcoin to pay the miners and our fee, this way our company has a flow of money coming in, to continue developing WalletPlus. It would remove clickbait because you wouldn't make money from those types of videos.

And the content can be anything, but not adult content, you can be a day trade, that post tips, and you would get rewarded for the community if the tips are good. You can be a guy who works for non-profit, posting videos, image, and you would be rewarded. We want to make for the global community, a way to access the global capital. And because we are developing an API, third parties can connect to it, and build great features, that would help the community, making more fun, or manager their finance (like with bots, or posts)

You can check my post on my bot that I am developing here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5048299.msg46755579#msg46755579, that will be implemented into WalletPlus, but this is not my main focus right now.

We are still selling 10m of walletplus token for 100 sat!
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is market making and how can I become market maker? on: October 13, 2018, 10:23:30 AM
I am wondering how these guys operate, how much margin they work on, what kind of funding it takes to try your hand at it, is it viable business model, is it possible for a newbie like me to start learning now. I have seen some bots out there, can anyone point me to best/decent bot and if there is any simulation environment for practice. Any help with this is appreciated. Would like to get some links or books for further reading. Thanks.

Try to make 2% profit every day from your investment, I posted about my experience in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5048299.msg46755579#msg46755579
One tip that I can give you is don't trade with a coin with a history of low volume, always check that is not a pump and dump.
66  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hi, im looking for interesting projects to work with. on: October 13, 2018, 08:32:54 AM
I see you are a full stack developer if you want you can work for us walletplus.io . We use reactjs and nextjs for our website, we are writing an API that connects to all public blockchain networks, exchanges, you can go and register. We want to build the to-go wallet for the crypto community, and we are writing an algorithm, that will store your private key secure and if you lose it (or something happens, like your pc/smartphone get destroyed, you will be able to get your private key without a problem of course with no centralized authority).

We will use react native to develop our app, and electronjs for our desktop application. We already have our token, you can check it out here etherscan.io , we are planning to lunch an ICO soon.

If you find it interesting, you can write to me!

Cheers!

67  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to transfer ETH from one wallet to multiple wallets using smart contracts? on: October 12, 2018, 09:17:04 AM
I want to send from my main wallet 1000 different wallets per wallet 0.0025 eth
I do not know how to move it quickly with smart contract
If using metamask it will be very slow

Can you tell me why do you need a smart contract for that?
68  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A Project is Looking for investment. on: October 12, 2018, 09:08:48 AM
For what else can your application be used, what are the benefits of using your application in the first place?
Looking forward to your reply  Grin

Thanks

1. We want to make sending bitcoin easy as possible, and we want to connect with other blockchain technologies that are solving problems and that fit to our philosophy.
2. Allow support for the online content creator, open-source projects, or any project that are for-profit or nonprofit.
3. Connect to exchanges like bittrex, binance, and to decentralized exchanges but now that is not our main focus.
4. Allowing bots to be installed on your profile, that does some heavy work for you (like trading bots, manager bot, social bots, etc. )
5. We want to be the to-go wallet for people, who are new to crypto, or who want to be more flexible.

You can go to our Instagram account Instagram and check the latest videos about our project.

You want to make content free, so everyone can join and watch Superman without paying anything, but you want to make the greedy studios happy. Good Luck with that. I hope you have some connections and a plan. Cheesy

Satoshi isn't Ukranian, Japanse or whatever, he is a world person!
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scammers, Sell your uploaded KYC ID documents, adress for a lot of money. on: October 11, 2018, 11:22:18 AM
this sounds crazy, I am worried about this news.
I have found many projects that apply KYC to investors and bounty hunters. what should I do so that my personal data is safe, it's hard to distinguish a scam or not.
or do I have to ignore all kyc?

The thing is, it doesn't need to be a scam or not, it all depends how fair is the person running the company, and with who they work. They can always sell your data without you knowing it. Hard problem to solve.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / From $100 to $137,614.74 in one year! on: October 11, 2018, 11:14:36 AM
Ok! I know the title of the thread sounds too good to be true, but theoretically, you can do it.

First, go to compunddaily.com, then fill out the form like this:

Initial Purchase Amount           100
Daily Interest Rate                     2%
Length of Term (in days)           365
Daily Reinvest Rate                   100%
Include Weekends                     Yes

It will get the result, that after a year you will have total NET profit for the 365-day period of $137,614.74 (137,614.74%). But you need to invest always the full amount every day, and for the big amounts, it will be hard to fulfill the orders, and it is a HUGE RISK!

That got me thinking, I am a programmer, I could write a bot. He can work for me 24h and watch over my precious BTC. I open my favorite code editor, wrote basic CLI, connected to my Bittrex API, get my public and private key setup, and taught myself, watch me now World, I am going to conquer the world!

I want to be as safe as possible, so I set some rules for my bot :

1. No trading on bad days if the market is down, try to alert me to sell my BTC for USD, and wait for the market to stabilize itself.
2. No trading with cryptocurrencies with low VOLUME, I want to be able to sell/buy my coin fast.
3. Always take save profit, 2% - 5%, don't care if the coin jump 100%, I am happy, be humble.
4. Look for coins that want up/down a few %, check their volume, if the volume is bigger then the threshold put them into the favorite box if not remove them.
5. The bot shows me what he found and I am one who decides to buy in or not, over CLI.

And yesterday, bot offered me to buy dgb, I bought it for 370 satoshis and sold it after for 378. Now it wast just one day, and I had the beginner luck, let's not open the champagne yet!

I am lazy, I want to enjoy life and for the bot to do everything for me! Now he needs a small brain, let's look at neural networks,  that should help. Before I start writing code, let's look what can we find online, to find some good resources. After reading throw dozens of blog posts, website, papers, code, I saw it is a hard thing to do, I need more data. And if I would able to build this thing, damn I would become a billionaire,  but this will be a challenge for me this year and let's see how far we can go. I have my own project going on and that needs to go live as soon as possible.

Have a great day and be kind!

That was a mistake on our part, we updated our post. Thank you for the info. We want to run campaigns on facebook, twiiter, google, but we are just a bunch of developers, we need more manpower and capital for that.

As per manpower, I'll be glad to work with the team, if you can prove your project worth and real plans to achieve your expected goals.

Can you please contact me via the website, or message me here, thx

What are you talking about man?  Huh Huh

decentralized needs to build in hardware or software, for the average Joe everything needs to happen one click away. People are lazy and stupid Smiley

I mean, a decentralized application can't win the battle against centralized apps. cApps are much faster than any other dApp, try to run a dApp with 100 of millions of users, like facebook, youtube or any other platform that has a huge amount of traffic. Maybe it can, but we will need more computational power and resources. I mean it would be interesting to have an OS that in the core has already preinstalled dApps shop, where you can install it with one click. But I just saw one smartphone project, that tackles that issue.

My comment doesn't fit the thread, anyhow, because of centralized exchanges, like Coinbase, Binance, Bittrex, bitcoin has to gain the attention of the world, without them bitcoin would never touch the $20k.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scammers, Sell your uploaded KYC ID documents, adress for a lot of money. on: October 10, 2018, 08:51:06 AM
This is why KYC is s stupid and dangerous, the government really want to know everything about you. I feel sorry for the people who need to fill the KYC.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cryptocurrencies Vs Governments – Can they co-exist? on: October 10, 2018, 08:22:20 AM
In the past, we had the separation of religion/governments, now is the time to separate banks/governments, in my knowledge they are working hand in hand even today. And crypto is the best way to do that, but god damn the banks are owning the world right now. It is a scary thought. And I believe no one loves bankers, everybody would love to see that profession to die and they are not doing anything productive to the society, only by giving loans, and have the evilest things every invented interest rates!

We hope that you are interested to work with us and make the world better! If you have any question, you can contact us via our website.

If you are promoting a project, make it everything about your project being transparent. You can use this thread to make each person interested in your project and also you must act to answer every question. So as each person who saw to your project and clarified by the various questions that you have answered, I'm sure it's a plus value and will make everyone trust to the project you are promoting. Everyone in this forum is very beware with the new project because there have been many new projects that led to scams.

Good luck,

I know about scams and they suck, but we are fully transparent, we really burn for this project, we are totally open if you need any information, I am more then happy to talk with you face to face over the internet. We don't want to scam people, we want to build the next big thing together. Our soft cap is less than some ICO's that we saw in the past because we don't believe that you need a huge amount of money to release a great product. If the product has a value the market will show that. We are totally reasonable with our valuation.

The second thing we would have meetings with every single investor, like a real business, no lies, no hiding, no promises that can't be delivered, we would be full transparent with our community/investors.
79  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A Project is Looking for investment. on: October 10, 2018, 08:00:23 AM
This way better posted on Service Announcement of alts. Is this your only way of advertising your project? I suggest you to avail Copper Membership so you can post images on your ANN which can be more attractive to the readers and potential investors.

Your soft cap and hard cap seems to be low unlike most of the ICOs that are aiming millions. Why's that?

We have few plans to advertise our project, we are more focusing on the usability of bitcoin, and bring it to the mainstream.

Now your question about the caps?

We think for a startup half a million is more than enough to start and see if the product has a value in the market, if it has, the price of our token will increase, and the rest of tokens, will be issued to raise more capital. I saw a startup that started with less than that, and they made it happen. Our plan for our developers is to hold $5m. We truly believe our token can be 20$ worth in the next 2 years, but that is still just speculation for now
80  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A Project is Looking for investment. on: October 10, 2018, 07:45:27 AM
The dates are done already only date 1/12/18 is on the wait list,  and if you want to float the project over the internet you can ask or negotiate with admin theymos in terms of traffic,  or simply advertise the project by making campaigns and of course choose managers that accepts participants for less spam.

And i haven't seen wallet plus on the playstore.

That was a mistake on our part, we updated our post. Thank you for the info. We want to run campaigns on facebook, twiiter, google, but we are just a bunch of developers, we need more manpower and capital for that.
