Out of curiousity:

Did anyone else stop his wallet a while ago to build up some staking weight for the blocks 6600 to 6700? Smiley

Yes but not long enough before just 2040 weight

Do you build weight with a closed wallet?

Just staked a block. My weight  Sad
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron - SHA256 POW/DPOS/POS - DynamicPOS Distribution Phase Now on: April 17, 2015, 08:14:34 PM
In three days of mining, one address received 758562.44000000 TRON:
http://45.33.72.95:3001/address/PRoWzEPjEUPzhKXyZq5EeZUuzXpSJ9ovTV/100

This is obvisouly the below pool:
https://tron.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

Based on the OP: Total approx potential coins from POW: 900,000, lower with mixed POS at block 2700. 3 days mining.
Then, only one pool mined 83.33% of the POW coins in only three days.

Now, please find below the list of the people who were mining in that pool:

We can see that the top #1 miner have a total of 1,105,372,766 shares.
If we add all the shares from the #2 miner to the #15 miner, we have a total of 480'616'568 shares.
Then, the #1 miner of that pool had 56.51% more shares than all the 14 others top miners for one round.
This means that only one miner had 56.51% more chance to get the reward from the block than the 14 others top miners.
Every one can make his conclusions but mine is that there is someone waiting to dump a bunch of coins and when I see the dev saying he hold only 4,8K, I laugh much Grin

So the scam dev of POSITRON holds 50% of the entire market and he is waiting for that big volume so he can dump without making the price go 90% in the shitter ? Looks like this scam dev con artist wants to retire for life. Hmm

I forgot about the staking part. I bet he created a massive amount of coins out of that too

Nice fud. Those shares are only for the last round in which no block was found. You need to look at the block finder page to see the relevant numbers.

PoW rewards changed? It used to be 150/300/100. Now it's 150/30/50.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EKN] Elektron - EKN - ElektronFoundation on C-CEX! on: April 16, 2015, 09:59:43 PM
C-Cex still in maintenance  Sad

C-Cex already updated their wallet?

Volume has been steadily dropping...

No need to flame, just an observation.

Miners stopped dumping. The rest are staking.

Another question about staking: I got a block (yay) but now a big part of my wallet is in 'Stake' and only a small part is in 'Available'. And it seems that my weight only grows proportional to what's in 'Available'. Wouldn't this mean that it's better to run multiple wallets if your average time to staking a block is less than the time it takes to get the 120 confirmations?

Added new pool to OP.

Spread the hash, miners.

Could you please fix the automatic payout threshold issue for your pool so it can be different for each pool?

How is your wallet weight determined? Is it based on the number of coins you have? If so, is there an optimal number of coins to keep in your wallet?

It is determined by the amount of coins you have.  Stake weight is determined by your coins vs total coins staking on the network. 6hrs before your coins start staking in your wallet.

Thanks

I'm staking right now with my wallet. But what happens with my coin maturity if I send some coins? Will I have to wait 6 hours to start staking again or will it continue?

Sorry, but I'm new to staking  Smiley

So when you have more coins your weight will increase faster right?

I'm still at block 3367, how do I get on the correct fork?

I don't think anyone knows at this stage. I'm on 3367 of 3417 too but this PosiTron Block Explorer http://45.33.72.95:3001/ says we're at 3433.

Looking in the debug.log file for the wallet there are (on my mine at least) hundreds of connection time-outs where the wallet's trying certain peers but they're not letting it connect.

Until we hear back from the dev we can't do too much about it I guess (unless there's a QT expert on here that can work out how to put appropriate addnode= or connect= commands into a positron.conf file to force the wallet to go to specific peers, but I have no idea whether that's even something that would resolve the issue).

For linux new wallets are out, for windows you'd have to wait until the dev releases the new versions.

bittrex and the pools are ok

Mehhh, I want to stake   Angry

I'm on the same fork as http://cryptobe.com/chain/PositronCoin
Guess you are too then.
