69  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: July 09, 2014, 08:17:27 AM

OK, but even if we all remove the signature today.  You still one more round of payments, as documented  in Yamamoto's most recent spreadsheet.  Can you comment about when you expect to send the final amounts?

I remember. I will do it tomorrow. Don't worry.
70  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 09, 2014, 08:11:02 AM
If there exist really unsatisfied users?
Did we took advance payments from somebody?
Did we cheating to someone?
If yes, prove it. If no, why these Newibes blaming us without evidences.

We delayed payments for signature advertising for few days, but this problem solved already.
We did pay to everybody.

We delayed sending test device to Dogie for review. But it was a technical problem and we do not repudiate our promises. When tested device will on our hands we will send it to Dogie.

I bet, behind this newibes one of our competitors.
We do not hide behind laptop displays. If anyone wants to see we are legal we are ready to meet.
71  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: July 09, 2014, 07:35:34 AM

Unfortunatly this campaign will terminate with the last payment.

PM received from XBTec:

Quote
I decided to pause campaign for uncertain time.
During the designing our device I really hadn't time to manage it properly.
Further, when we start our sales, we plans to hire more stuff.
For now i'm forced to terminate this campaign.
You can delete our signature. If we will start again, I will contact you.

It was nice till it lasted
that so bad Sad
i didn't received PM from him, when did you received it?
maybe he will announce it here after pay us all

Today I will notify everyone to stop our signature.
72  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: July 09, 2014, 07:33:21 AM
I paid to everyone just now.
Unfortunately, we decide to terminate this campaign for some time.
I will PM to each participant to notify about it.

We were to busy this weeks, and probably we will busy next 1-2 weeks.

75  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 02, 2014, 02:33:15 PM
Yea I really don't like how they have accepted money from buyers or set new possible dates that they may not make. Oh wait.. they aren't accepting money for "pre orders" from us miners. They also communicated they ran in to problems and rather than toss up a bullshit future date it looks like they have been solving the issues.

Let's get a definition check on the word estimate for some of these guys. These guys came straight out and said they would send a unit to Dogie for review, we didn't have to ask them to do this. Worse comes to worse Dogie never gets a unit and this thread was only good to raise your post count.

Be a smart buyer, don't buy until Dogie gives the a-ok,  and go buy an S3 to bid you over til the release of this miner.

we do not accepting money for pre-orders. We have enough BTC to design device by our own forces.
So, why do you blaming us?
76  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: June 29, 2014, 02:35:56 PM
We will get cases and heatsinks nearest few days.
Anyway, its running without case and heatsinks. Of course in test mode.

77  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: June 27, 2014, 05:36:58 PM
Paymemt received, but i need the final postcount to verify if is fair, pls give us the list

I did payouts based on 24th July postcount. Do you need immediate payout for 25th, 26th and 27th July posts?
If so, give me know, I will personally count it and pay to your wallet.

Here we go again with your condescending attitude.  Obviously we have no choice but to wait.  Therefore, we will wait.  However, it's now Friday, the original plan was Sunday to Sunday weeks.  The second wee is apparently Sunday to Tuesday because that's when Yamamoto got around to doing the numbers.  Yakamoto posted on Tuesday "calculations done, payments on the way".  Three days later we just wait for the convenience of an instant btc payment to eventually be effected.
I can understand you as well as OP. Wouldn't you double check something that someone gave you? I definitely would, since money is involved. Also, he works in the factory on the products that they are creating, he said so in one of his PM's. This means that even more time is consumed, which cannot be used on the campaign. Campaigns don't always pay out on time. I have yet to see a campaign that didn't have any problems in it's first two weeks. It takes time to get used to.
And yes, it might have been a bit condescending and I apologize for that, but it's getting quite annoying if you see it constantly happening.

Well to be honest, I'm not sure I would delay the payments of contractors by 3 days just to double check the work of someone I hired.  That just makes me look terribly unorganized and unprofessional.  The crucial thing is this: set a schedule and stick to it.  That's the way the professional world works.  If you have an unavoidable delay, you tell people as soon as you can and you try to provide the most accurate and specific info you can about how long the delay will be

I can tell you this, the longer xbtec waits to fulfill his obligations the sketchy he looks as a company.  If you were considering buying a mining rig from him, would you take into consideration his ability to pay advertisers on time when deciding whether he was someone you wanted to work with?  I know I would.

Personally, I'm thinking about leaving the campaign over this.  I find it discouraging.

I was delayed payments for 12 hours.
The reason is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626694.msg7550446#msg7550446
Anyway, sorry for inconvenience

Finally, PCB board has been outputted yesterday.
All night and all day our engineers tested it.
We've got about 0.9W/Ghs power consumption.
Tomorrow we will assemble all these stuff in one case and test.

Tomorrow I will upload short video of working device, I think.

On the topic of that whole whitelist/greylist/blacklist thing, I just wanted to bring up one other point which wasn't brought up before.  Other campaigns which don't pay for "unconstructive" posts don't try to kick people out of the campaign for this, they just don't pay for that type of post.  I guess I'm mainly writing because I don't want to have to think hard about how I use the forum just because I'm a sig campaign member.  Sometimes I write a long long post, sometimes I write a short post with only a word or two.  I do so as it's appropriate in the discussion on the thread.  If I want to say "What about X?" as a question to someone, I want to simply state my question without having to worry about whether my sponsor is going to kick me out.  If I want to post a picture in the "lets count to 11 million in pictures" thread, I want to enjoy doing that without worry.

Basically, I'm suggesting this, if OP doesn't want to pay for certain posts, that makes sense.  If OP doesn't want spammers in the campaign, that makes sense too.   But putting people who use the forum normally (not posting too much, not too often, just posting how they fel when they're online) into a greylist is, IMHO, bad practice.  In the end, everyone who is sponsored by XBTEC is going to be known as annoying encylocpedia posters who just talk and talk and talk despite the fact that the same point could have been made more succinctly.

To try to really drive-home this last point, consider that I could just keep on typing paragraphs in order to lengthen my post, but that wouldn't make it any more constructive than it already is.  More words won't make any more conversation happen, I've already said my point and the resto of this paragraphs in this posts are just for illustration.  However, because I'm not an ashole, I won't go on.

Do you guys understand me?

You are right.
We decided do not complete "grey", "black", "white" lists anymore.
People mustn't think hard about "constructive/ not constructive" their posts.
Now we've got some experience and will manage campaign better.
