The classic diversifying with other alts. Yeah, I think you should stop giving investment advice altogether.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am leaving bitcoin thx for helping me satoshi. on: January 08, 2021, 02:44:10 PM
I am selling 325 coins today I bought at 4$ and making a new currency to replace fiat and bitcoin.
Best of luck to your shitcoin.

Why didn't I think of that before?

Do you like how things are done?

You are against the introduction of transparent objective standards that ensure a fair and level playing field for all.
That is what you want to say?

Or just here to eat some corrupt DT ass for a merit morsel?
I'm here to talk Bitcoin. Couldn't care less of the politics of this forum, really.

What makes you feel I'm riled up?
Take a look at your past replies in this thread. You sound like an insulted flat-earther.

What about poor quicksellout7 ? You dont care how they've broken him for some dust?
That's a very selfish attitude you have there.
Why be this way?
I don't even know the person, and I really don't care who he or she is.

I only use harsh terms to help snap people out of their delusions and hopefully set them back upon the correct path again.
Yous simply cant sell yourself into subservience to scammers and greedy scum for dust and expect others not to notice that you're a prime example of everything wrong with the subjective gamed and broken mess of merit and DT.

As always I am here to help others. For myself I require nothing.
Whatever.
64  Other / Meta / Re: The corruption here is just way to obvious. How high does it go ? on: January 07, 2021, 03:39:33 PM
If you don't like how things are done here, then simply hop onto a different community or create your own forum. Pretty simple. You seem to be overly riled up over an internet forum.
65  Other / Meta / Re: The unsung heroes of Bitcointalk on: January 04, 2021, 01:37:33 PM
For some reason I was kind of expecting GameKyuubi(the HODL guy) to appear on your list. Tongue Nice thread nevertheless.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth 2.0 is this the end of bitcoin? on: December 30, 2020, 03:41:31 AM
as for me i was not think that pos is better then pow, but lastly i read i article from vitalic the co-founder of eth about why pos is better then pow, which his article was not really neutral , but it made me re-think about pos and starting researching and discovered that attacking pos with 51% attack is hard like attacking pow, and pos have super less energy consumption add to that they will make eth 2.0 can handle more transaction for next generation.

With PoS, with more ETH you have, the more power you have over the network. Think about it. If someone has a huge business and that people pay them a lot of ETH, they will automatically have significant power over the network because of that alone. It's one of the biggest flaws of PoS in my opinion.

Looks like target of your post is a programmer with years of experience that for some reason don't know how to earn few pennies. So i guess ... no one?

Why i have responded? Maybe to put some light on how great those tips are? Did you think that you will get "thanks for tips i need money but i didn't think about getting a job" answers?
Not sure if it's a language barrier thing, but you're really missing the point. It seems like you didn't read the topic at all if you think I'm only targeting programmers with years of experience.

It's not the same though. You'd be surprised how many people think that the only way to acquire bitcoin is by buying it with fiat. They need to be reminded that they can also get paid in bitcoin, whether their full salary for a new job they get hired for or for their old job and part of their salary in bitcoin.
Those who are self-employed could also add the option to receive the payment in bitcoin (like a merchant selling goods for bitcoin to whoever that asked for it).
Fortunately someone gets it.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having trouble earning bitcoin? Listen up on: December 06, 2020, 08:59:43 AM
You are starving to death? Find a food and eat it.
You are homeless? Go buy a hause
You need money? GO FIND A JOB Smiley

Pritty much nothing new in here.
Pretty much nothing new here because you're obviously not the target audience of this thread. Not sure why you decided to respond to start with.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Having trouble earning bitcoin? Listen up on: December 06, 2020, 07:09:39 AM
Let's be totally honest here. a substantial number of people are on Bitcointalk to earn bitcoin through campaigns, and as long as you're not a sleazy spammer, I really don't blame you. Why? Other than maybe some people here live in poor countries, who doesn't like to earn bitcorns by simply talking to people?

Now the problem is earning bitcoin through signature campaigns isn't really scalable. Why? All the campaigns has a maximum weekly post count, and if you want to increase your monthly earning, the only thing you can do is to join a better signature campaign. But once you manage to join the highest paying campaign, your potential earnings growth is more or less capped already.

So, how do you earn more bitcoin, and in a scalable manner then?

Psst.. you. don't. need. to. earn. everything. through. Bitcointalk. The world wide web is a wonderful place with opportunities everywhere. Look around and have some side hustles!

But since I don't want to leave you empty handed, here are some choices:

1. Create a bitcoin or cryptocurrency related "tool" website: Create something really useful that people would actually visit and share your website. A good example would be Coin.dance, jochen-hoenicke.de, bitcoin.org, and of course Bitcointalk.org. These sites have received a good amount of coins through donations and sponsorships.

2. Create a bitcoin or cryptocurrency related blog: The Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency space is still really new, and you can take advantage of the missing online content through seo. Just look around Google! Can't find a guide on how to effectively coinjoin through Samourai wallet? Create a guide while following seo guidelines! Just create a good amount of articles and add some decent crypto referral links here and there like Trezor or Binance, and you'll be earning coins in no time.

3. Get hired online or offline and receive your salary in bitcoin: should be self-explanatory.

"But.. but.. I'm not a bitcoin or cryptocurrency expert..

Ok, you're not interested in going inside the bitcoin rabbit hole but still want to take advantage of bitcoin's price increase and monetary attributes? That's completely fine! Not everyone needs to be a Bitcoin "expert". If everyone needs to be an expert to be able to take advantage of Bitcoin, then we're totally fucked.

"So.. how do I earn bitcoin then?"

Take my 3 previous examples, and just substitute everything related to bitcoin and cryptocurrency to something you're passionate or knowledgeable of.

Instead of creating a bitcoin website or blog, probably create a website about planting succulents or how to play bongo drums or something. Or maybe, just start selling clothing or waifu pillows online or something like that.

"But.. but.. then I'm earning filthy fiat, not bitcoin..

While it's undoubtedly preferable to be paid in bitcoin due to privacy reasons, you can.. you know.. just use the filthy fiat you earned to buy bitcoin! No sweat! (use Bisq)

"But.. but.. I have no skills to sell online..

Well shit, you're out of luck. Either go work at Wendy's or McDonalds, or stop fucking spending all your extra time playing World of Warcraft and watching anime. Do something productive for once and learn a future-proof marketable trade like programming. There are so much FREE content out there! and if you become good enough, you could even make contributions to Bitcoin!

In summary: stop limiting yourself. exert extra effort to be able to stack more sats because you won't regret it.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 02, 2020, 06:05:28 AM
Please, just stop. You're embarrassing yourself. In general I agree with your principles but its quite obvious you've resorted to posting under your alt for the sake of slinging shit. If you had something interesting or useful to say, you would have posted it from your main account.

Sure chum. Have it your way.

Simply yelling at them for being poor or overinvested in bitcoin changes nothing.

Yelling at them for being poor? Where? Clearly the message is not for literally everyone. Like I mentioned on one of my responses, it's for the people solely to make money while missing the grand scheme of things.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 02, 2020, 05:51:10 AM
I'm curious, why did you ditch your main account to pursue building up this one? You're an alt account shitting on people for being "peasants"... why? Does it make you feel jolly on the inside, your dick feel bigger, or what? Just because you're in a higher paying campaign, you're not also a peasant? Get real.
I didn't know posting on an account without a campaign is automatically equivalent to using an alt acount. So that's how Bitcointalk works!

Really though? I have nothing against signature campaign people. I wouldn't have went for his throat if he wasn't provocative with his words to start with.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 02, 2020, 05:15:11 AM
This could be anyone who doesn't utilize the possibility of gaining through bitcoin. OP you should know that sometimes in life, you should roll with the punches. Can I buy ramen and 1 kilogram of pork with bitcoin in my country, spoiler alert: I can't. If only there are more business that are cryptocurrency integrated then your dumbass rant would be right, but no, you force people to your ideal that if they follow you, the world will be a better place. I agree with the quote above, what is the point of hodling when you can't reap the benefits.

If you think that just because you can't buy pork with your bitcoin right now that it automatically means that you won't be able to in the future, then fucking LoL. But I guess you're just a Bitvest campaign peasant so why would I even expect you to understand this shit.

"If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry."
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 02, 2020, 01:48:51 AM
I think it's you who are missing the point - complete ownership of money means people are free to do with them whatever they want, including selling it for fiat. Satoshi never said "don't you dare to use Bitcoin as a speculative investment vehicle", and even if he did, that wouldn't have mattered, because to the network it's irrelevant why are you sending transactions, and Bitcoin wouldn't be Bitcoin if it was different.
I'm missing the part where I said that no one is free to do whatever they want. Please quote me. The post was obviously for those people who looks at bitcoin solely as a short term make money quick thing, instead of seeing the monetary advantages Bitcoin has over fiat.

And from a more practical point of view, it's great if you can sell on top and buy back later, instead of missing out on some 1000% profits. When people discuss exiting Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that they will never own it again, it just means that they expect a crash.
Yes, because people have been easily timing the tops and bottoms right?
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 01, 2020, 04:04:14 PM
After just about 3 years of patiently waiting, it's finally all time high season again. And as with every all time high season, there will be plenty talks of price targets with people planning on finally selling at $20k, $25k, $30k, $50k, or whatever.

Guess what. If you only hold bitcoin to reach a specific sell target, then YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT.

The reason why cypherpunks, economists, and investors hold bitcoin is because bitcoin is the only asset that can give you true ownership of your money or wealth. And along with that, let's not forget that the federal reserve is printing the shit out of the US dollar. And knowing both of these facts alone, some of you already have exit plans, by planning on dumping your precious bitcoin at whatever price for filthy fiat money? smfh.

/end rant

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone with experience with Ledger Nano X question. on: December 01, 2020, 03:49:26 PM
1) Ok, so are you saying that my public key was created by the nano x device and is attached in a way to my private key?

2) And how can I be certain that the public key wasnt generated by ledger live as opposed to the nano x?  If it was generated by ledger live, then doesn't that mean that it is sort of acting like an exchange like coinbase and ledger live has it's own private key, making it seem like I have full control, until somehow my funds disappear?  What I'm saying is how do we know the ledger live app didnt just flash it's own public key on your nano x screen and you sit there thinking that it was created by your nano x.  I dont think this is too far fetched to worry about.  I want to be sure my funds are safe.

I'm asking in regards to worse case scenario.

Your public key was derived from the private key.

If you don't like trusting Ledger's software to be displaying the right addresses, then use your Ledger device with the Bitcoin Core software. https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-core/
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT versus DAI token on: December 01, 2020, 03:02:42 PM
People look at stablecoins as something bitcoin-like, but in fact most stablecoins are practically like tokenized PayPal. Remember people, not because it's a token it doesn't automatically mean it's unseizable.

@Timelord2067

I did see the BPIP DT changes & asu’s ~ fest. I had to drag my balls in there & ~ him too.

Looks like  has changed their mind about distrusting asu:

Did you see this post or this other post?

I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet but this is some juicy stuff. Looks like bitcointalk has far more account farmers than we initially thought.
