Woah there is a swap going on with PIGGY??? When is this happening and do I need a new PIGGY wallet now? No, this is ancient history. Old Piggycoin died in May or June of 2014 IIRC, and that's when new Piggycoin which you have now began life. So unless you have some very old PIG, it's no issue. (Dev team correct me if I have that wrong in any way.) That's right :8] |

How many PIGGYs do we get for participating, and what do we have to do to get them? Is the giveaway open to newly created novaexchange accounts because I've never used that exchange? It's not one of the big exchanges and I guess most PIGGY holders are not registered there yet. Not much, just like 500 PIGGY at a time. I left it up to them to choose how to best give them away. Yes, it will be open to new accounts. |

We already discussed NovaExchange two pages ago -(oo)- Anyway they've opened a BTC market for PIGGY now after I indicated we'd rather have that than the other coins' markets: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_PIGGY/They do at least have fast support and have been giving updates about returning their lost BTC via the news section on their website. They say they'll open another BitcoinTalk thread soon. Seems quite a bad thing though, to cut off the two-way lines of communication with the people you owe money to, but hopefully those lines of communication will be restored soon. I see they've delisted MyriadCoin recently; what's up with that? I will give it a little more time and wait and see what happens before I add them to the OP. on piggy- btc.?? What's up? |

Thanks but I would recommend that PIGGY traders wait until this exchange is a little more established before trading there. I notice that the exchange is based off open-source exchange code: https://github.com/txbits/txbits -- The problem is that there don't seem to be many eyes on or regular contributions to this open-source project so there could be known or unknown vulnerabilities in the code. |

No, this is just a PiggyTeam account which is usually used by Mo Green. Neurocis is the main dev though. The original piggydev doesn't have much to do with the coin anymore. He is @piggydeveloper on Twitter. |

Hello guys,
I'm an early adopter of this coin, and as such, I still have a bunch of them.
I was not paying attention to cryptos for the last year and now, when I was updating my wallets I've noticed that my backup wallet is not working with the new piggycoin wallet.
I have piggybank 1.2 installed but its not connecting.
Is there anyway to transfer my coins to the new wallet "format"?
Does it say New PiggyBank in the filename, window title, or Help->About box? If not I'm afraid you are using the old proof-of-work PiggyCoin which is now defunct. There was a swap period a long while ago which went on for over a year :8/ |

If you have some PiggyCoins, you can keep them in your Desktop PiggyBank, "unlocked for staking", and they will generate more PiggyCoins ;8] |

Good job for having piggycoin still going strong but bad that most of your sites are gone and dead. That not good. You had a vision of educters using piggycoin yet the site for educators to help students is down. How do I get piggycoin ? Just buying and mining ? Are there not any bounties ?
Which sites do you mean? '(oo)' New PiggyCoin's mining phase is over, and now it's in the staking phase. New PIGGYs are awarded to people who leave PIGGY staking in their Desktop PiggyBanks. We can award some bounties to people if they approach us with something they want to do for PiggyCoin. Should there be some set bounties that we should advertise? We're reluctant to give out ANN translation bounties because they can do more harm than good when they become out of date. |
