Hello guys, I'm an early adopter of this coin, and as such, I still have a bunch of them. I was not paying attention to cryptos for the last year and now, when I was updating my wallets I've noticed that my backup wallet is not working with the new piggycoin wallet. I have piggybank 1.2 installed but its not connecting. Is there anyway to transfer my coins to the new wallet "format"?
Does it say New PiggyBank in the filename, window title, or Help->About box? If not I'm afraid you are using the old proof-of-work PiggyCoin which is now defunct. There was a swap period a long while ago which went on for over a year :8/

@Piggycoin
Are you the earlier dev of piggy?
No, this is just a PiggyTeam account which is usually used by Mo Green. Neurocis is the main dev though. The original piggydev doesn't have much to do with the coin anymore. He is @piggydeveloper on Twitter.

Hey just a question out of curiousity because I've been away for a while lately but is PIGGY no longer listed on Poloniex? And also why don't we try getting this coin listed on a few more exchanges because I really like the community and the coin itself and would love to see it thrive more Cheers

We are still listed on Cryptopia.co.nz, and we've recently been added to a new exchange, CoinExchange.io :8] ;8] Any requests for particular exchanges?

Well I think getting listed on Bittrex or Yobit would also help Piggycoin out quite a bit because they seem to have good action on lower valued coins like PIGGY and things

PIGGY was listed on Bittrex in the past and delisted -- Unfortunately it costs a lot to get back on there. Yobit were having some problems with updating wallets and adding the coins that coin teams have paid to add, a few months ago. I haven't kept track of them since. Let's give them time to sort themselves out. Why not give your custom to Cryptopia? :8]

give it a while to see what action moves to topia, there are 3-4 coins that were Polo listed and now need to use topia as their primary market. i sense the volume numbers will pick up.
also start to play with the Alt pairs, it adds resilience to the pricing mechanize.
in 30-45days see what kind of support $ can be raised to get bittrex listed.

LiveCoin seems good, as does RawX.io. Anyone got any thoughts on either of these?

Just a reminder we do have an IRC channel which we gather on quite regularly. If you don't like "traditional" IRC (and I don't) you can always connect via a bridge like matrix/vector chat at this link: https://vector.im/beta/#/room/#freenode_#piggy:matrix.orgOne benefit of this "bridge" method is you can lurk in the channel from multiple devices, there's web and mobile clients, and history is searchable. #Oink!

Here's a direct link to vote for PIGGY on Livecoin: https://www.livecoin.net/voting/index?vote=PiggycoinYou can vote for free once a month, but you have to have an active account. They consider an account to be active if any money has ever been sent there, even as little as 5 DOGE perhaps. We haven't heard anything bad and have only heard good things about Livecoin so it'd be an honour for PIGGY to be on there!

Thanks but I would recommend that PIGGY traders wait until this exchange is a little more established before trading there. I notice that the exchange is based off open-source exchange code: https://github.com/txbits/txbits -- The problem is that there don't seem to be many eyes on or regular contributions to this open-source project so there could be known or unknown vulnerabilities in the code.

Yes Crypto-Trade.net based on txbits, but we have a commercial project and of txbits there was only a small part.

700K PIGGY bounty paid from premine to Today_I_Woke_Up on Reddit for logos for PiggyCoinb.in. Still waiting for someone to claim the bounty for photos of Paper PiggyBanks.
