61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Investors always turn to reduce or deny bounty hunters their payments on: October 19, 2019, 06:50:34 PM
I have seen this phrase many times in the bounty threads, but it did not stop me from participating in the bounty campaign, because this is not the main criterion for participation for me. I study the prospects of the entire project before participating.
Many bounty hunters failed to understand that there are many things to consider when promoting projects, developers are humans too, they need funds to be able to pay hunters for their hardwork as well, once project failed to me softcap there will be problem

That's the thing, these projects will stop their bounty/airdrop campaigns if they ever feel that they won't get near their softcap at all. I've seen a lot of projects do that and in result, will piss of the bounty hunters because all their efforts to promote the campaign will be put to waste. DAO Maker is doing social mining which lets you work for crypto in exchange of helping the project grow, plus they're doing it for well-funded projects like ONE.

But for the bounty campaigns that suddenly stops, I hope that there will be a way for us to secure bounty tokens, similar to how tokens are secured on IEO's for investors.

Will the ElyNet token run on ERC-20? Does it have plans of migrating to another blockchain after the fundraising event?
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 16, 2019, 05:51:45 AM
As I read the post of the community here looks like I am late to be active here in the crypto currency. The time have passed for me to earn on the airdrop. But still I wanna try it even it is a garbage or just a waste of time for the others. Guys please send me some link to be part of some community to receive airdrop. I want to try and experience what you have experience in the past even thou it is not that profitable. Even if the token has no value. It is just for my learning experience so I can be productive in the future. Smiley

It's a good mindset to have now as a newbie, I'm not sure how long have you been in crypto but it's important for you to learn how the space goes and grow from there. Airdrops are a good source of way to earn tokens just by doing tasks for the project, but be careful because there are campaigns that will just suddenly stop because they failed to raise funds which in result, will stop their bounty campaign and make your efforts go to waste.

Before participating in free tokens, you should also research the background of the team and project to make sure that things will pull off. DAO Maker lets you work for crypto by helping develop the project, whether it be content writing or dApps. There are also airdrop websites that already qualify and vet the airdrop campaign for you.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] apM-Coin |South Korean Wholesale Titan - Payments; Loyalty; 1.5M Customers on: October 13, 2019, 11:42:15 AM
did the app just work in Korea or Dongdaemun? or is there any website that we can purchase using the apM-Coin?
can you share what is the benefit from people outside Korea to use the coins?

The rewards that people will get can be used to buy in the apM app? It's actually a great move by the team, I hope they incorporate a little bit of how crypto is being sent (them having their own public address, etc.) so that we can start introducing crypto to people bits by bits.

The apM coin operates on a blockchain, the apM chain, so there is a definite presence of public addresses. However, the transactions are done in a more user-friendly UX, leaving the addresses in the back-end and presenting users with an easier UI.

And yes, the rewards can be spent via app or inside the malls' shops.

Sorry if you mentioned this already in the OP, but how was this coin distributed? is it a coin? or token?
i didnt see any mention of mining or an ICO/IEO in the roadmap...
im wondering how many total coins have been given out already, i like korean projects, you guys work generally really hard on them Smiley

They did not distribute any tokens yet. The token sale plan is to be announced on the official communication channels.

The token details can be found on their whitepaper.
But no dates yet. Maybe try to check their website from time to time regarding their schedule.

They have huge customer base already so I am expecting that their tokens will be sold easily.

It should be easy for aPM to find users of their coin because they already have large amount of people going through their malls in a daily basis. Some projects think about how they can onboard users, well they already have that solved easily.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 13, 2019, 11:39:13 AM
Teams that are showing their faces, doing AMA's, all kinds of interactions to the community doesn't guarantee you the fact that they will not do an exit scam regardless if their fundraising become a success or not, and we've all seen that last 2019.

Even though the amount of scam projects became smaller in 2018, there were still some that were able to trick these investors. This CEO admitted to the legal court that he issued tokens that has no utility or value, and they're in such a big mess now. You also can't trust a project just because John Mcafee or other big players in the space starts promoting this certain coin, we all have to play it smart.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LIBRA - Simple Global Currency - Reinvent Money - By Facebook on: October 10, 2019, 06:22:27 AM
I think LIBRA will be the biggest project this year, the project with the strongest and biggest partnership, of course we know Coinbase, Visa, Mastercard, Uber, Ebay, Facebook, Paypal, Thrive Capital, and many more, all of whom have joined Libra

This is true because of the brand behind it which is Facebook. How true is it that PayPal has already jumped off and will no longer invest in libra?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 10, 2019, 06:19:53 AM
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

I'd say that this is not the case for all scenarios, people already learned from the past to determine if a project will turn into a scam or not but still, no can predict that. There are projects that failed to reach their soft cap and in return, stopping all their bounties/airdrops which will just waste everything that the bounty hunters worked for.

Libra had it's own hype when it first launched and the community became so excited about it, but when time passed by, we all started to realize the negative impact it may bring. There are platforms that still lets you work for crypto just by helping them develop the coin itself, from building dApps to enabling the business side of things. We just have to be very cautious whenever we try to do something in the cryptospace.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 05, 2019, 10:16:27 AM

Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?

From where did you hear the news about BTC increasing its supply? I'd say that is impossible since it's only created to have 21million and the rule of supply and demand will what make it grow strong as we get near that figure.

Bounty hunters are definitely having a hard time now to find legit projects that will guarantee pay them. There are crypto rewards system that will be based on the votes of the community to evaluate each others efforts, in that way, we won't get screwed by whoever is the bounty manager checking our stakes. The future does look bright in crypto and we don't need to worry that much since we're still considered as early adopters, it will be fun to watch major enterprises to start incorporating crypto in the next years to come.
but i am thinking positive about the Bitcoin halving that it will create a new ATH sa btc price.
The last quarter of 2019 will be crucial, dito na dapat magsimula ang totoong bull run.

Tingin ko di magpupush ang price ng BTC before mag-end ang 2019. Pero tama ka, for sure na taas by early 2020 dahil sa halvening. Historical data shows na lagi sya nagiimprove whenever na nangyayare yun.

Posible, may nakita akong chart na every year na nangyayare yung halving is tmtaas ung prices from last halving to the current halving. I would say n try na nten magaccumulate ng as much btc as we can ngayon before mag 2020.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What does the future holds for crypto? on: October 04, 2019, 07:49:13 AM
What does the future holds for cryptocurrencies?
1) Will more countries start adopting crypto?
2) Will bitcoin hits a new all time high just like many predicted?the owner of snapchat predicted that by 2030 bitcoin will hit 500k,too good to be true?
3)What about the Government agencies?will they have no choice left but to fully embrace the technology?
4)What will be the fate of banking and financial industries?

1. Yes, Venezuela is one of the recent countries who will start accepting crypto payments, we'll see more countries to start fully accepting crypto very soon.
2. BTC has a strong case for the halvening in 2020, historical data shows that the price increases over time but I think it will not happen EOY this 2019.
3. The government has to accept the fact that blockchain/crypto will overall improve the lives of everyone. Areas from agriculture, healthcare, and more are being improved because of this tech. Even existing offerings in the space are evolving, coin offerings, airdrops to a new style of airdrop which guarantees you rewards compared to bounties, platform developments like ETH 2.0, and a lot more. We're constantly levelling things up while the government sits on their current systems for decades now.
4. Banks are still hesitant about crypto since it scares them, I feel that fiat may have its own time and crypto will take over.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN)Guaranteed for Investors and Bounty Hunters. on: October 03, 2019, 05:51:07 AM
Awesome list and thanks for sharing, lists like these are very helpful since its hard to look for legitimate projects nowadays.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Japanese Firms Forming a New Body To Create Regulations for STO tokens on: October 03, 2019, 05:46:18 AM
There's a reason as to why Japan has been one of the leading countries in terms of the tech space and there's no shock as they start forming regulations for crypto. Many investors have lost effort, time, and money because of the year when ICO scams hit us and these are the reasons why we have newly formed offerings such as STO's, IEO's, an alternative IEO which provides anyone access and a guaranteed token, and a lot more. Almost no one now are doing ICO's because of how unsecure it is and it's great to see that the crypto community has been learning.

I'm eager to see how this new system for STO that they're creating will affect the way of how crypto startups are doing fundraising.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: October 02, 2019, 11:11:21 AM
And will there be bandwidth limit using ELYNET as an internet service provider? For example, where I live, the operator charges a high fee for a monthly limit of 3GB of data.
Thanks to this platform, I think there will be implementation of free Internet, or at least at very low prices. I do not know how this will work in practice, but on paper is described realistically.

Good to see the self-correction in your statement: prices will be low. There is no claim of free.

In fact, the pricing plans have already been released.

Will the charge depends on which country they are operating in? There should be some sort of collaboration with local provider one way or another. This is the reason why they are implementing this platform in the first 2 countries because they already secured permits and their other business matter affairs.

I think it won't matter regardless of what country you live in. Elynet will act as a global provider, so whatever fees you'll get from Elynet, it will be the same one if you ever go to a different country.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 02, 2019, 11:07:44 AM
Everything is possible on the crypto market, especially nowadays. A coin can start with a small price and raise quickly to 10 bucks per coin, but unfortunately the reversed scenario is much more obvious, because a bunch of projects begin with 0,1 USD per token and ending with 0,001 USD within several weeks.

These things have happened so many times and we will just never know what will happen with the value of the coin we're holding which makes investing in ICO's, IEO's, etc. a bit risky. An evolved IEO can somehow solve that issue since they're already selling tokens that are already in an exchange with a discounted price. Some gameplans you can do with that is to have them to hopefully host a good project and buy coins at a price that they already are in the exchange. You won't expect too much drop or volatility comparing if it came fresh from initial offerings.

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] apM-Coin |South Korean Wholesale Titan - Payments; Loyalty; 1.5M Customers on: October 01, 2019, 02:14:29 AM
as a blockchain-based platform, is apM participating in the Block Battle program in Korea? because I see that APM has good vision and already has quite a lot of users in the Korean region.

Yes, they have a very large userbase in Korea that you can already count as actual users of apM. I think the estimated count was 1.5m which is massive, imagine that number of people using the payment system and get rewards in a form of crypto.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: September 28, 2019, 11:13:13 AM
This is really interesting project. When will you begin the token sales phase? Is there a possibility you have an IEO?
Becoming the Mobile Blockchain Revolution with Full telecom services is a briliant idea and good concept. I am really looking forward to it.
After I read on their website, they have no information when they will sell the tokens, maybe they haven't thought about selling the tokens at this moment. I'm waiting for this Korean project, I am very sure that they will succeed, because so far many Korean projects have been successful.
You are right. Most Korean projects are serious about building their projects. Are you also interested in investing in this project? I think this project has very good potential in the future if they can realize it according to the roadmap that has been prepared. I will wait for the date of their token sale.

I agree, the potential is massive once this launches. Imagine people no longer having to depend on their local carrier and make ElyNet as a universal sim wherever they go. This can help mass adoption right here.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Alt season come soon? on: September 28, 2019, 11:08:16 AM
Cryptocurrency markets continue to stagger but there has been much talk in recent weeks and months of an alt season. But is this really going to happen?

I don't see alt season happening anytime soon tbh. The thing with alts is that you have to be patient as an investor, not all coins immediately reached their ATH in just a few months/first year. We should instead focus on finding good projects and find the next possible ETH. This evolved IEO is promoting quality coins that are already in the exchange on a discounted price which makes it a win-win situation if ever altseason begins again and you got the coin on a very cheap price.

It's all about hodling if you really trust the project and see it working long-term. There are so many things in store for us for 2020 and moving forward, I would say that 2019 is just the dip.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Money on Chain - Bitcoin-Collateralized Stablecoin on: September 26, 2019, 08:23:50 AM
When will the team publish the whitepaper? That's one of the things that people look for tbh
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option? on: September 26, 2019, 07:43:07 AM
i heard someone who used crypto as a ponzi scheme where they asked for money and invests it on btc, but when volatility started to hit, they all ran away and some are facing jail time due to complaints. People are indeed looking for fast ROI but it really aint gonna happen, it requires you to have patience and at the same time, support the future of crypto by looking at projects like a mobile carrier in Korea that are aiming to remove fees by these manipulative corporations and will provide a universal sim. Everything does really take time, which applies to all start up projects.

I guess we have to focus on mass adoption and not be impatient. We're early adopters for this amazing technology and its exciting to see what's coming next.
