It looks like the Multipool is doing it's job  ... finally we got away from 5 sat.. Pretty sure this movement isnt even because of the multipool (i havnt been paid in zeit yet). Likely from some whales. the multipool has to buy zeitcoin before it can payout... hence the price going up True but look at the 24h volume, 266btc. Even if half of those are sells the multipool wouldnt have made anywhere near that in the last 2-3 days its been running. It doesn't have to.. there are so many bag holders that any activity would bring them over... the multipool ate through the big walls on 5 sat... and will do the same with the rest (as it gets more hashpower).. Thing is there are so many buy walls on every sat up... crazy... if all these bag holders were smart they would take down the walls and let it rise... 2 schools of thought as i see it. Taking the walls down and letting the price rise so quickly would inevitably bring in profit takers and bring the price back down. But then the weak hands would be out sooner and let the price rise more steadily with less profit taking. That or leave the sell walls up and let the price rise slowly. Hard to say which is better. People thatve been holding chunks awhile id guess? They could be ROI miners waiting for a return on investment/time... basically anyone holding until a certain price (where they will dump).. I've been holding since the beginning but i've no problem holding for a reasonable value... as this coin can do much better than 10 sat... Even if i was to sell i would only sell a fraction and wait and see.. Oh ffs, mintpal under maitenance. BAD TIMING! ><

Hey Bit_Happy, we have a hard time getting your point here. Does the word fuck offend you so much that you had to write those big red letters? Are you heavily invested in bitcoin and scared that others are so tight about the fuckcoin wording that they will drop all bitcoin in an instant? Come on... Fuckcoin began as a fun idea, but once build for a few operating systems and introduced to the public, we received a lot of awesome feedback: People loved the name and the client with its artwork. We also have a lot of fun setting up promotion campaigns and thinking about new ideas. Let's be honest, most of the so called altcoins are technically the same, it's the community around it, that makes them special. And if there are some people (like us) who love to give a FUCK, what's the damage? We hope that we can make peace with you and that fuckcoin and bitcoin can coexist peacefully.  Putting out "Fucking flyers" in public makes this one stand out as doing real damage to BTC and decent alts.

Those of us here who believe in this coin will find ourselves a different coin to mine and will buy Zeit as we see fit. That's all that's happening, people are finding profitable coins, selling them when they feel it's appropriate and then buying a coin they like.
It's the community that's doing it, not some magical multipool.
If you'd like to join a multipool to dump coins and buy Zeit, then do so. Personally I hate multipools, they're the scum of the Crypto world. Lazy bullies who can't think for themselves so they just join a herd.
The only time I like herds is when I can be bothered to be the shepherd because I fancy feeling powerful.
"We'd be dumping other coins for our profits, this would annoy the devs and community members other coins (which you're looking to be an authority of)" is the main point. It would also bring arguements and division about which coins the pool should be mining at what time and when we should be mass-dumping the coins. If the price increases a day after we dump there will be people complaining and likely making accusations that whoever controls the pool is controlling it to make THEMSELVES more profit. It's just a receipe for all kinds of bad things. I'd much rather we create a decent community of people who will make their own decisions about what coins to mine on an individual level (thus not mass dumping coins and annoying others) and then buying Zeit when they see fit. If the community's strong enough, people will still buy Zeit rather than other coins. For those who don't have much time to pick the best coins and watch for when to sell etc... they can still go and use a pre-existing multipool (blackcoin for example) and then sell their blackcoins and buy Zeit when they're next online. Essentially, exploiting other coins for our own personal gain is just bang out of order and not what this 'movement' should be a part of as whole. If people are already doing it individually, what's the difference other than it being on a bigger scale? Lets face it there are lot of crap coins out there and more and more a released everyday (many are scams).. So why not use them to increase the value of zeit? the higher the value the more people know about it. We need people buying at the exchanges (and not at 1 - 3 sat each).. a Multipool would eat through massive walls and prevent dumps... Look at Blackcoin.. I've watched it steadily grow for the past 2 weeks and all attempts at dumps (from whales) have been killed off by multipools. It's better to have a Multipool setup by the Dev than by someone else. This coin needs to adapt or it will surely die. Now more than ever since it's 1 zeit per block (pointless to mine) and no buying power on the exchanges... It won't be long before people start leaving it for other coins. This coin needs to increase the volume it moves on exchanges and multipools can provide that. The community and Devs should be only concerned for the well being of their own coin, so what if you piss off other devs? the multipool could always just mine coins such as Doge which has an endless supply of coins. I have a lot of zeit in my wallet and have been minting but i can only hold it for so long.... If the price doesn't increase in the next week, it won't.. The coins needs a boot to get it going... it's been stuck a 1 - 3 sat since it hit exchanges. |

There are already WAY too many coins in existence, we don't need a multipool for each one just because there are millions of lazy idiots in existence too! my idea is to create a multipool that does not give you zeitcoins back it mines other coins and then buys zeitcoins and puts them into a bounty wallet that is used for zeitcoin projects. Just like Blackcoin, which what i was on about too... It's the main reason the value has sky-rocketed. |
