61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Expected price of an airdrop token if it came from a major project? on: July 02, 2020, 01:27:30 PM

And about airdrop with 1:1 ratio, i think this is will give positif impact to major project, but for new token, it depend with team

It really all falls on the team to perform. The partnerships that they're doing won't mean a thing if both parties don't execute.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM is now connecting businesses to blockchain? on: June 30, 2020, 11:20:24 PM
To answer your question, yes in a way. This may help people open their eyes and accept the technology even more.

Security is what's very important for these developers and owners. If the system is more resilient to human error and network attacks, it will help streamline the security testing process.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run blockchain Node : Setup for beginners on: June 30, 2020, 11:10:17 PM
It looks very easy and good prices for the node.
I see there are many other node options. I guess the others is as easy as the vitae one no?

True, these are the things that help newbies and people who are not familiar with setting up nodes. Something more visual is what we need.

Similar to where users can create their Proof of Concept on day one. This will set them up to track their assets and have their off-chain code or logic defined. Similar screenshot below, both good platforms -

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NEM is now connecting businesses to blockchain? on: June 30, 2020, 11:01:46 PM
This can be something that corporations may start to use, knowing that blockchain technology is the trusted, secure value exchange network for business. Symbol which is from NEM is aiming to reduce business friction, increase trust, and expand the flow of ideas to accelerate innovation. Enterprises and developers can now connect together, which open doors to more opportunity to the blockchain technology.

Will these kinds of movements by big players in the crypto space help mass adoption?
65  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Cryptographic Reverse Firewalls for Interactive Proof Systems on: May 19, 2020, 11:08:22 PM
At EUROCRYPT 2015, Mironov and Stephens-Davidowitz introduced cryptographic reverse firewalls (RFs) as an attractive approach to tackling such questions. Intuitively, a RF for Peggy/Vic is an external party that sits between Peggy/Vic and the outside world and whose scope is to sanitize Peggy’s/Vic’s incoming and outgoing messages in the face of subversion of her/his computer, e.g. in order to destroy subliminal channels.

A nice feature of their design is that it is completely transparent, in the sense that our RFs can be directly applied to already deployed IPSes, without the need to re-implement them.

Does this have any impact on how the future of crypto moves forward?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto changes. on: March 30, 2020, 09:51:56 AM
In a way yes, some changes in the market price, especially the big ones, are coming from the effects of these whales dumping. The rich are the ones who are in total control. But on a sidenote, Whales merely manipulate the short-term price of BTC. Because nearly all other cryptocurrencies are tethered to Bitcoin, they too are similarly manipulated.

But whales seem to have little effect on the steady rise of BTC adoption by the marketplace. As more people adopt investment in cryptocurrencies, and more applications for their use arises, their values must steadily rise.

The good thing is that people are now turning to crypto/blockchain because of the COVID-19 crisis, especially that they are now just staying at home. They can make big incomes by investing in good coins, bug bounties where they just have to catch an error and get paid, and a lot more. but no more airdrops and bounty campaigns, those things are dead.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the bottom in? Shill your guaranteed investment? on: March 19, 2020, 07:43:29 AM
The FED is doing everything they can to save the economy but in my opinion the crash will leave circumstances. This officially is a big crisis. I am keeping my portfolio on hold not selling anything. Btc, eth, neo, bnb, link, nwc, bat. Maybe even buying more, being greedy when there is blood on the streets

Indeed the perfect time to fill in our bags, everything is on sale right now and soon or later, people will start looking into crypto.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain platform to become the “AWS of finance,” like Amazon on: March 19, 2020, 07:42:03 AM
The codebase for the distributed ledger blockchain platform developed by AVA Labs Inc., a financial blockchain infrastructure development startup, officially became open source today and was released to the global community.

The AVA network uses a specialized system that allows permissioned, or private, and public blockchains to interoperate at scale. It is also the first system to employ the Avalanche consensus protocol, which was initially developed in 2018. Avalanche is a highly scalable, quick-resolution protocol for adding transactions to a blockchain while maintaining the security of the network.

AVA Labs also announced the launch of its Developer Accelerator Program designed to foster the next generation of engagement with the project’s growing community of creators, open-source developers, bug hunters and security engineers.

"Instead of one network with thousands of tokens, the AVA ecosystem is one platform with thousands of subnetworks and tokens on each subnetwork,” said Kevin Sekniqi, co-founder of AVA Labs.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to try yourself in trading and investing on the crypto. on: March 19, 2020, 07:22:17 AM
I've participated in a couple of trading platforms in their early days, and enjoyed giving feedback to the team about what to expect, and how they're different from the top ones like Binance. It is indeed difficult to make money out of airdrops and bounties, though there are bug bounties that pays up to $50,000. With that large amount of prize, you'll encounter a lot of competitors and you have to be very unique/think outside the box. These are just some ways to acquire money here in crypto without pulling money right off your pocket.

If there are newbies who would like to enter the cryptospace, they first have to get the knowledge or else, its gonna be a rough road for them.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: March 16, 2020, 11:22:39 AM
I'm still seeing ETH going down once BTC decides to bring itself down. BTC was not able to hold the $5,000 resistance and is expected to continue dropping, so therefore I think ETH will go to less than $100 as well.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser Crypto Rewards Program on: October 25, 2019, 09:53:26 AM
I've heard lots of good things with BAT coming from my crypto friends and its a good way to earn crypto just by not doing anything, plus its safe compared to other browsers! Its similar to what this blockchain streaming app which lets content creators earn crypto and cash it to fiat. It's so exciting to see crypto/blockchain being utilized everywhere and most importantly, earn a bit more just by doing your usual stuff over the web.

quite impressive for a browser to have a touch of cryptocurrency.
No one has really thought about this and has executed well like BAT did.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: October 13, 2019, 12:44:50 PM
Mass Transfers are now available on Mainnet.
Check it out at https://www.sign-web.app

Here is also a video on our youtube showcasing the feature: https://youtu.be/Fzax3wGcG08

The mass transfers feature is such a good feature to have on your app. I haven't seen any platforms have this tbh
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping crypto from mass adoption? on: October 13, 2019, 12:40:43 PM

Quote
The main crypto issue that is affecting mass adoption is scammers, its very hard for new investors to invest in projects because its sure they will get scammed in the end, fear of getting scammed is in the air and its stopping crypto adoption

Scam projects and scammers are what made investors move away from crypto during its heyday back in 2017, 2018. The blockchain and crypto technology are now being picked up by major companies in the space and they do see the importance of incorporating it into their existing system but people and projects who are doing exit scams are what's tarnishing the future that we're all trying to build. One of the big ones last 2018 was Karatbars, their CEO admitted to the court that the tokens they gave out has no value/utility and got delisted on CMC and everywhere. They had successful funding and a huge amount of investors but they're all a goner due to the team scamming them.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DIVI][ONE-CLICK MASTERNODES] Tiered Masternodes and Smart Wallet Live Now! on: October 10, 2019, 07:26:18 AM
I noticed there is a wonderful community surrounding DIVI and this is enticing me to also become a part of it by staking some coins soon. I am a long way off getting a master node but am thinking of starting with a small bag, just to get my feet wet and grow accordingly as and when I can add to it. I was looking at some staking coins and this one looks to be very promising and developments and communication are going quite well, so I am considering this as a long term bag hold with added benefits from the staking. I joined the telegram and I like what I see going on there, so I will try to procure my first coins next week if I am able.

Their charts are also saying something positive for this coin.

Unlike many altcoins, this one is trying to get up from their July slump of prices, where most of its contemporary coins have been hitting the 1 sat-value already. This might be a good coin to look at for staking purposes. In terms of their roadmap, they still have a lot of things to fulfil so the room for price improvement is quite big in this case.

Good analysis, it's really making its own way compared to other altcoins who rely on BTC too much.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the altcoin bull started on: October 10, 2019, 07:23:31 AM
We're on a mini bull run now with BTC from the price of 7.9k to 8.5k fast and with the majority of coins still riding BTC's value movement, almost all of them are on an upward trend as well. We're all hoping for a time that altcoins can stand on their own and make their own path to the top. Well-funded coins should do their part in letting people work for crypto to help with the progress of the project, regardless of what they will be offering, it will be voted by the people so there will be no manipulation happening.

But for now, I'm kinda expecting alts to all go bullish once we hit the halving next year. And hopefully it will continue it's trend and not copy what happened last 2017.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: October 08, 2019, 12:35:23 PM
Will there be a token sale? Excited to see how the interest of people will look at and eager to know more details.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AXE 🔥 Decentralized ▲ X11 👾 DMN / PoW + PoSe on: October 05, 2019, 02:02:25 PM

If you are an Axe investor and sometimes find yourself wondering if you have made a good investment or are completely discouraged. This post is for you or anyone who doubts the project. The sign of success in the community is the commitment of managers and investors, understand that a baby needs an average of 9 months to be born and that a plant goes through the process of seed and germination.

Reflection shapes us and propels us to prosperity and the future.

Good source of motivation and Axe together with other projects with good use cases will prevail. BTC and ETH did not reach their ATH in just a few months right.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are responsible for the death of their tokens on: October 05, 2019, 01:59:41 PM
There are 2 sides of the story, the development team and the crypto market always have responsibilities as to why their token died. The volatility and the way how it can carry the value of your token is almost inevitable and only the whales can control it. But as for the founding team, regardless if it's a bear or a bull market, they should have no reasons of failing as long as they have the proper roadmap set and funding. There are platforms where the community can help develop for crypto, like tweeting an event, writing content, building dApps, etc. The dev team can always do something and make proper efforts as to how they can protect the investors and community as a whole.

50% bonuses on their coin offerings is not that bad tbh, I've seen worst.

For me, Metrobank ginagamit ko. Nagcash out ako ng malaking amount and dumating din same day ung money (As long as na before 10am mo sya itransfer).

Edit: naunahan na ako sa taas  Grin not the same words pero halos parehong point yung nabanggit.

Di naman masyado nagkakalayo agwat cguro 50k difference lang. I guess tama ka, siguro magtataka sila pag 100k or more na frequent.
