Slack link takes you to the actual slack, not an invite page. Can someone send me the invite link?

Better telegram https://t.me/wingschat

Telegram is terrible. Does anyone have the slack invite link? Is there still a slack?
Try checking their blog section or you go to their site, you can get slack in there ...
Without having to invite you to their slack ..

Thanks, found it on their site. I clicked in a different area and that link was broken, missed the "chat" at the top Wink

For the bad news, yes all old coins are lost. Sorry. I could not figure out how to fix the flaw in the old XMD so I made the coding simplier and compatible with forknote project to help grab their followers.

Lol, quite the vote of confidence from the dev team right on day 1

Hi UBIQ developers,

I mined some UBIQ at the beginning, I created my wallet using this service:
https://ubiqsmart.com/coinswapaddress/#view-wallet-info

From that site I downloaded the following JSON:
{"address":"0x6d2536c81f77bf12163c240064017d427eda97fc","checksumAddress":"0x6d2536C81f77bf12
163c240064017d427edA97FC","privKey":"xxx","pubKey":"0x41f0ed2d6820335ec34f880907305364e60ffdbc2df0987a555ccd72c0aca94a8b2f02a
27785ace0598ff8d64ed9d7cea4da599c4acc3f1f8d204e4d91fdc3c0","publisher":"MyEtherWallet","encry
pted":false,"version":2}

How can I move my UBIQ to another wallet?
I've tried with your desktop wallet, but it says wrong version.

This video should help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F08Eu9pVpqs

I have UBQ contract for those needing to advertise or promote a product a service. We can offer banner ad impression delivery as well a pre and post roll video ads on our Nithrius platform which is a video player and adserver. More information about our Nithryum (NIT) token and ad impressions service can be found here.
http://nicnaccoins.com/cash/www/pages/Nithryum-Token

Do you have any customers, currently? This is a neat concept, glad you chose UBQ as the platform for your token Smiley
Yes we have a few banner ad customers now delivering impressions and today we recv'd (2) Pre and Post Roll video ad customers. (indeed.com and beyond.com). Better still the fact our video library is set to explode with the addition on Maker.tv content creators; since media content is the life blood of this industry (just need those agreements returned in digital format).  Digital advertising revenues exceeded $70 billion in the United States alone in 2016 and expected to increase by 20% in 2017 our goal is to account for .00875% market cap which would be $612,500,000. With 150 billion tokens at $5 per token price $750,000,000 total possible market cap for NIT and putting 82% our coins into circulation. We really see this as an opportunity to grow and feel very confident in using the UBQ blockchain.

Well I wish you luck with your project! Glad to hear you already have some folks interested in it Smiley

Hi Ubiq friends

Im developing a new project where I will be using the Ubiq platform and was wondering if anyone could help me in writing a smart contract, please PM to discuss in more detail

Excellent! I would recommend joining our slack: http://slack.ubiqsmart.com/

That's the best way to get in touch with the people you'll want to discuss this with.

That's a good problem to have  Cheesy
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: March 29, 2017, 03:50:57 PM
is this safe in a decentralized network kind of ways?
the pool ubiqpool.io have hashing power of more than 80% of all network hashes..

how many confirmation should we wait for a transaction to be considered ok?

i see that the blocks are only generated by ubiqpool

i think the miner should consider to distribute their hashing power to other pools available

Thanks for stopping by slack and asking your question there as well. It's quite common for alts to have much more centralized mining power. In this case, that pool operator is a very trusted member of the community so there shouldn't be much to worry about. He would have to choose to be malicious with his pool's hashpower, and this is highly unlikely.

Thanks for voicing your concerns though!

I'd say a half an hours worth of confirmations would be more than enough Smiley I think Bittrex is using something like 1 hour though.

Just to clarify since we had a close call there. The coin (UBIQ) on Yobit is NOT this coin. We are UBQ (ticker) and Ubiq (full name, not all caps). We are currently traded on Bittrex and Cryptopia.

If you have any questions, just ask Smiley

can u get this coin to trade on polionex?

you already know the answer to this, so why even ask?

No hype like that first dev. Nothing but solid, steady developments coming from Romano. I definitely encourage people to take a look at this coin if they haven't already (or if they did back in the day but haven't since the new dev).

Romano clearly cares about the coin!

I'm confused

This thread was started January 2017, but according to https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ubiq/#charts the coin is 3 years old.

What am I missing?

Start here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=765082.0

Coin was launched as CoinmarketsCoin, re-branded to Jumbucks, and swapped to UBQ. One of the devs has been the same the whole time so it's not like it ever "died" and got resurrected, it just evolved.

I've purchasd 700000 UBIQ at 0.00000045 price through Yobit.net
Now I came to know this coin is different than the mentioned on Bittrex. so any one can tell me is it scam coin or any potential in it ?

Well if you wanted to find out more about the Yobit coin you'd have to find the thread on it.

Can some explain this wallet to me. How do I send my coins to it? Is it possible to change the password to the main account? On more thing, why am I reading in the wallet that if I send coins to account address the transaction will not show?  Huh

I'm going to assume you're talking about the GUI wallet (Fusion) and not the CLI wallet (gubiq).

You'd send your coins to the account shown in the wallet. It's possible to change the main account password, but there's currently not a mechanism built into the wallet for this. You would have to use the CLI software in order to change the password. Alternatively you could create a new account with the password you want to use, and then send the coins to the new account.

The note about the transaction is in regards to "alerting" you of the transaction. If you use a wallet contract, you will get a popup message that you have incoming funds. The contracts can be created by clicking "new wallet contract".

Let me know if that helps.

Please refrain from quoting that one guy in here or giving him any kind of attention. That's what he wants. It hurts him most when you completely ignore him, his feeble mind struggles with the lack of socializing.

Duly noted, brother!

I already forgot turd muffin extraordinaire even exists! It's like someone placed a sock in his cum dumpster, as I can no longer hear him! Wink

Cool beans. BTW, are you in the slack? You might want to check it out!
