63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of the BT COIN on: June 24, 2011, 08:14:03 PM
So we can annoy LAMA's like you.

Let me ask you something their willis... Do you really think because a person posts more on this form... that he or she knows more then someone who has under 40?  Just not logical. I can have over 300 posts and still = to be as dumb as shit as you !
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Rise of the BT COIN on: June 24, 2011, 08:08:27 PM
This is a good day for Bitcoin. With the difficulty increasing ... it is needed for the coin to go up in value ! Keep the price above $17.00 dollars and the value wont fall if the sell off happens tonight. Why sell below $17 if you cash out tonight if TradeHill and Gox are reaching the same in value ? If this should keep up... I don't see the value dropping .

People are frigen stupid. I hope they all get shutdown. Its bullshit. Gives us REAL Miners chance to operate effectively.

Hey everyone,

I have my main computer with my original bitcoin wallet i started out with... To increase security i have a laptop just newly formatted and updated that i just want to use for storage of my coins...then disconnect it from the net. So its been over 20 mins and i haven't received my coins that i sent to my other pc. On the PC i have 63 connections cause i have port 8333 open but on the receiving wallet i only have 8 connections. Does this sometime take awhile to show up ? Normally anytime i receive anything from like BTC guild or gox its there in seconds? Whats going on?

I agree. If the price of the coin goes up... Its an even balance but, who knows.

72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Curious - Bitcoin is still beta - why should I invest? on: June 22, 2011, 04:06:57 PM
Damien put it in a good way... In reality... Bitcoins is like going to Vegas or Atlantic City... There is a good chance you could come out with shit ton of money or a good chance the house takes all your money. If you are a smart gambler you go in to the casino with the mindset that I'm taking 200 to 300 dollars in with me... If i lose it i lose it.. "I'M NOT GOING BACK TO THE ATM FOR MORE". That's how my mind set is with Bitcoins. Also ... with the ongoing hacks and issues this community has gone through... Its impressive how this currency has been able to stay somewhat stable and recovery. Your odds with this currency is better then any other gamble . Why? Cause we the people back the currency...We hold the cards. So if you are looking to invest...I commend you but at the same time..."Don't play with scared money. You feeling lucky ?"

Dinker...Im so glad you informed us about the new logo. Now I can sleep better knowing Gox has spent 10 hours in Photoshop rather then fixing security. Awesome!

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Reality Check!] Strong Indication MtGox Is Packing Up and running away w/ Tupac on: June 21, 2011, 11:32:23 PM
I think what we all should be doing right now, rather then coming up with insane speculations is come up with a plan on what we are going to do with the future of bitcoins. With us as the backing of the coin we have the control.

Current Issues I see ongoing :

1. Miners going out of business with the difficulty level rising.
2. Price of the coin dropping to peanuts.
3. Security enhancements for the currency.

Me being a miner and pumping out 5,000 Gighasshhh per day for this network gets me a little nervous if we aren't going to take care of our own. People speculating miners will work for free.  Cant happen ... we need to do something. Either Price of the coin go up to balance difficulty level or work out a different system with the pools.
