No website at the moment. I may do this in the future. Up to now my reviews have been just for myself but I have decided to make the results public with the aims of encouraging creators of new coins to improve announcement content and providing an independent reference for possible investors in their research.

I have been around cryptocurrency and altcoins for a few years. This is the first review I have made public.

I might increase the level of detail in the future- possibly in a blog of some kind  - we will see how it goes.

I deliberately make it difficult to get a very high score - prevents me getting carried away. Class A is very difficult for any proposed coin to achieve and this is intentional. The fact that this coin achieved this score makes is equivalent to saying its a possible top 20 coinmarket cap coin.

I have reviewed the proposed coin (using my own personal system) and my results are as follows:

This coin has a "Class A" rating based on the information in this announcement.

Research further. This coin a possible good investment or trading opportunity. If POW if may also be worth mining for a possible future profit.

The review assessed coin information and parameters in this announcement only and included such things as;

Type of coin, ICO type and escrow status, Dev team and claimed experience, real world use, proposed wallet availability.

The actual score is 72.22 %

Features of note: Good Escrow, Well formed proposed real world use, claimed and well proposed external income streams.

There were NO negative or zero scores for this coin in my scoring system.

I have a few questions for you (for my notes, own purposes and possible review)

1. How many cryptocurrency developers do you have on your dev team?
2. What is their experience level i.e. have they been involved as devs in any top 50 coin market cap coins?
3. Is the source code going to be published?
4. Will the source code be open source (MIT license etc.)?
5. Does PureVidz have any external revenue streams already in place and working e.g. advertisement income contracts / agreements?
6. How much do you expect to earn first year from external income streams and what percentage are you planning to give to coin holders (investors)?
7. What are the growth projections for the next 5 years (% is fine)?
8. What platforms are you releasing wallets for on day 1?

By the way my assessment of Bismuth | Clarity is very positive.

It is rare these days that I actually mine anything let alone take part in a testnet.

I like the approach - test and prove the coin first and then ICO - sweet spot

2. The dev made no posts between June 2014 and Dec 2016 - was the account bought?
3. This looks like a scam to me....... dev may change this, but I doubt it.

The reason there is no sync is because there are no miners......

There are no miners because there is no real block reward.....

Seems there are no nodes either.......

Suspect this coin is in the altcoin cemetary dead !!!!

Me too..... just giving Dev some space to take urgent action. If not I'm out.....

Solo mining and my own personal block explorer now up and running

A bit pissed about the zero reward per block (the block reward is less than min tx amount so nothing goes to wallet)

I will keep going for at least 24 hours...... maybe more......

Someone needs to commit to permanent mining (pool?) and block explorer otherwise no more exchanges will list this coin.

The coin needs to have a better block reward and move to a POS / POW model soon.

I like the concept but if there is no change or a plan to change soon this coin is going nowhere fast.

Hopefully Dev is working on this too.

So the suggestion is POS / POW?

I think the POW reward change should be done soon - this is a simpler change short term whilst the later POS is worked on and tested.

More miners needed

I suspect for this to happen the reward needs to be increased. I suggest making a change to a reward of 5 Fwee per block from a suitable block height (say 10500?)

BTW I am the "wrong" side of 50 too.

And I appreciate good coding and the people who do it. I wrote my first software on BBC Micro and ZX spectrum... not because I have the patience or longing to code but because you just had to write your own stuff to get anything done

I for one am glad I don't have to code any more and that there are talented individuals out there to do it for me.

So with that in mind, given life experience and the understanding that good coders don't grow on trees, VNL seems like a good investment (if there really is such a thing in cryptocurrency).

One final thought - Elite was a damn good game if I don't say so myself

This is one cryptocurrency where patience really is a virtue.

Invest what you can afford, hold and build a superpeer if you can - this is the only winning strategy.

Vanillacoin is the nearest thing to my idea of a truly decentralised cryptocurrency - that is why I have invested, run nodes and will be holding.
