61  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinoso on: May 29, 2023, 03:10:25 PM
I think the answer is fairly simple: web3 casinos aren’t that polished just yet and web2 platforms simply work. If you can point out an example of a web3 casino that works flawlessly that doesn’t have any issues with law enforcement, then that would be great and we might as well try. That’s another reason why Web3 platforms aren’t as popular: they have potential issues with governments due to their nature that’s why people wouldn’t dare risk it.

Of course, we are working on having a license. But what is the license for? It is to protect the user from central authorities. Getting licenses for DAOs isn't easy because contracts own the system. For example, AAVE is like a bank, but it does not have a bank license. There is a lot of uncertainty about DAOs. Hopefully, we'll be the first to figure this out. Here users have to trust the contracts. For the security of the codes, of course, it is necessary to have audits with highly reputable security companies. All of this has already been done. We are negotiating with various license providers on the other issue and we will definitely reach a conclusion.

Currently, games can be played with WBTC on the platform. It is not possible to integrate Bitcoin in a decentralized way. If we get into the deposit-and-play thing like everyone else, then we'll compromise on decentralization.
62  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: May 29, 2023, 10:55:30 AM
Bitcoin was invented to get rid of middlemen. Web3 does exactly that. We are trying to save you from middlemen and make more reliable platforms. So basically we serve the purpose of bitcoin, but since we accept wbtc instead of bitcoin, it's really sad that we can't find a place in this forum. I think they should reconsider on this.
63  Economy / Gambling / Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: May 29, 2023, 10:35:45 AM
I just want to hear your ideas so we can improve our platform. Thanks to admins, they don't like decentralization and they moved our ANN to altcoin section again.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5453737.msg62314774#msg62314774

So lets discuss here. What do you advise to improve our casino to beat unfair web2 casinos.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just.bet | The Web3 Casino You Deserve - Bet directly through your web3 wallet on: May 28, 2023, 09:52:32 AM

Good to see more updates from this site though I'm still waiting for your response with regards to the concerns above.
If you're not related with that project, then who came first in this market and why use the same name?
Curious about it, though the bonuses are attractive but still too risky to try, please give us an update with this.

Just.Bet is not a new project. The idea and its foundations were created in 2016. We've been working on it for long. I don't remember if the website you meant was active or popular at that time. We loved and used this name very much. That's the only reason.

One way to make this casino website3 successful is that the OP is at least actively providing any updates about casino games and services, I've monitored this site as far as I've seen everything is pretty good and there are some games that I often play also at other casinos so maybe would love to test the game, but I'd like to try it, for example, using testnet for some sort of demo testing.

If on your site the testnet works at least new users can test it before using the funds on the mainnet, I test casino websites so often like this that I need to test it again on your site. I will try some games later .

Thanks for the kind words. We were in the testnet process for about 4 months and over 5000 users tested it. In this process, audits of smart contracts were completed by 2 security companies(Watchpug and Paladin). We have now closed the testnet and switched to the mainnet. But what you say makes sense. At least we can put a test section so those unfamiliar with such casinos can try it out.

Welcome onboard and you've done noble to have chosen to bring your casino to the forum and I want to assure you that you're  in the right place and I tried checking through your website and it really looks colorful and attractive  and since you're new to the forum, I will recommend that you try hire some reputable signature  campaign managers in the forum to help you with marketing and promotions and just incase you need a manager, you can contact @Hhampuz and sicuss terms with him as a signature campaign  will really help grow  and promote  your business..
I hope you do respect your users privacy and stay trustworthy.
Goodluck to you guys

Thank you. We will consider organizing a signature campaign.

OP updated. Slots and Range game are now live.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just.bet | The Web3 Casino You Deserve - Bet directly through your web3 wallet on: May 23, 2023, 05:42:35 PM
Bet directly through your wallet, settled instantly into your address. No middleman, no KYC, no tampering, no bullsh*t.
I believe whatever you do here, it is the best for you and also the JustBet gambling site that you have.

However, not necessarily for us, in essence I personally am very vulnerable for online casinos that are new here and that directly connect players with their crypto wallets, it's something that is less fun what more JustBet offers sportsbook betting. KYC I don't believe in that, you can go back and forth today of course you don't need to, tomorrow yes is usually when you win big, this is what online casinos usually do.

But there is something that needs to be noticed and questioned about the JustBet site regarding some of the reviews that I saw.
For example:
JustBet Review US 2023 : Is JustBet Sportsbook legit? No! BLACKLISTED

The point is, before we start doing something, especially on a new gambling site, it's good for us to spin a little to see and find out what happened to the gambling site, that's important to us, tired of all the negative actions. We gamble for fun not for trouble.

JustBet doesn't offer sportsbook betting and that website is not related to JustBet. We all gamble for fun but we want decentralization. We don't want to be banned, we don't want them to ask for KYC and we don't want anyone to trick us with fake money. We want provably fair systems on the blockchain.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just.bet | The Web3 Casino You Deserve - Bet directly through your web3 wallet on: May 23, 2023, 08:14:55 AM
I went through a lot of Web 3 casinos these days, and the interface looked amazing, but I didn't see your T&C anywhere, which is very important for someone to know what he or she is going into before connecting his or her wallet and at the same time wagering.

I see you have a lot of threads that were moved to the token section, and your images on those ANNs are completely broken. Maybe it's a result of Imgur. Try using TALKIMG to reupload your images.

Try and make this ANN thread a lot more informative, including things that people are expected to see before actually going into it.

We will update the OP, thanks for the heads up. Btw we have the docs on the app. You can check it at https://docs.just.bet/justbet/

70  Other / Meta / Re: Why our gambling service thread moved to token section? on: September 22, 2020, 11:10:04 AM
I read you but still don't understand. There is no rule on gambling section. There are only 2 rules

One thread per site ONLY
Giveaways/promos/etc do not belong in this forum!

As you see only 2 rules. Moderators don't have rights to move my thread to another section. JustBet is a gambling platform.
What you've quoted are stickied threads. Stickied threads may denote certain rules (especially those that are often overlooked), but they don't list out all the rules. If, for a thought exercise, we were to be incredibly pedantic / de jure about it, AFAIK there is no single official definitive source of rules written down anywhere. This is intentional but doesn't mean that there are no rules. To quote a post from Bitcointalk's head admin, theymos:

<...>
But I don't believe in having a set of hard rules which is to be applied to all cases. Whenever an argument starts looking like it was written by a lawyer, or relying overmuch on precedent, you've stopped thinking about the real case and have started using rules to retreat into moral and intellectual laziness, divorcing yourself from the decision you're about to make. If you're making a decision about a case, then you're responsible for that case, and you can't say, "I don't agree with it, but I was just enforcing the rules." Every case needs to be handled individually.

So if a moderator decided to move your thread and the head admin, theymos, doesn't oppose it (or even supports that decision), the moderator in question very much has the "rights to move" your thread wherever. In reality though, there are certain rules and common practices to which all moderators adhere to (with some wiggle room for autonomous interpretation from the moderator's side as well as for exceptions to be made when theymos feels like it's warranted).

While I did previously mention that there is "no single official definitive source of rules written down anywhere", there are unofficial efforts to compile these (often unwritten) rules and common practices into a single source. One of these projects is the "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ", which is a personal project of mine. The rule I've quoted in my previous post is from this thread. Links and translations of the thread are stickied across quite a few Bitcointalk boards so while it might contain inaccuracies, quite a few moderators have felt that it's accurate enough to be highlighted to new users that stumble upon the boards they moderate.

However, if you still feel like your topic was unfairly moved to a different board and that it does, indeed, belong in Gambling (either according to the often unwritten rules and common practices or due to this thread warranting an exception), you're free to appeal that decision by PMing Bitcointalk's head admin, theymos.

Thanks for your time to explain detailly. But I still have some concerns. As you explain there are unofficial efforts to compile these rules but How do I know these unofficial rules as a new member of the forum? At least mods should have warned us about that and we modify our thread. This is not nice we are waking up to a surprise.

You want to run a gambling site, your reputation must be properly maintained here and can be trusted by others.
Than arguing that is uncertain and you don't understand.

It is obvious you never checked what JustBet is. JustBet is a fully decentralized platform that doesnt need any reputition or trust.

[moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

C'mon man, it's implied and doesn't have to be written in the way you like/understand.
There are many gambling platforms that offer tokens such as EOSBet/EarnBet, GooseBet, etc., and they smart enough to accept betting with Bitcoin.
Why don't you do it instead of complaining?

JustBet is a baby. Of course we will add more payment option in the near future. But still this doesn't mean we cannot publish our thread on that gambling board. You are all being so emotional as it is very clear there is no rule and there is no reason to move our thread. It is clearly that mods abusing the system. That's all thanks.

72  Other / Meta / Re: Why our gambling service thread moved to token section? on: September 22, 2020, 10:06:05 AM
There is no rule on gambling section.
Rules don't get repeated on avery board, the Unofficial rules are valid on all boards.
Ok tell me which rules?
May I suggest reading this topic again?
Second, there is no rule that accepting bitcoin is mandatory.
You say that but have you actually read them? From https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0:

14. All altcoin related discussion belongs in the Alternate cryptocurrencies and it's child boards. [3][4][e]

Come on LoyceV you still don't get it. We are not talking about a token here. We are talking about a gambling platform. Just.bet  go check it and go check the thread. You seem smart you can understand easily.

It seems an arbitrary treatment. Clearly.
73  Other / Meta / Re: Why our gambling service thread moved to token section? on: September 22, 2020, 09:56:20 AM
^Good old rules that everyone (should) knows.
As long as you accept betting with Bitcoin, your thread can be in the gambling section, but if you don't, the place would be in the altcoin section.

There is no rule on the gambling section as you said.

As some users have already pointed out, the main boards (that being any board not in the "Alternate cryptocurrencies" section) are meant for Bitcoin-related discussions. You yourself already mentioned that your service doesn't accept Bitcoin + promotes a service-specific altcoin token:

<...> gambling service includes a token <...>

<...> it is on Tron chain.

Which is the reason why it was moved to Tokens (Altcoins).

Second, there is no rule that accepting bitcoin is mandatory.
You say that but have you actually read them? From https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0:

Yeah there is a roadmap but for the platform not for the token. Second, there is no rule that accepting bitcoin is mandatory.  That would be illogical because it is on Tron chain.
• An initial exchange offering and partnership with a trading platform is part of the roadmap. Gambling seems to be the major part of the platform, but you're promoting the entire platform.
• Yes, there is no specific rule limiting gambling projects to Bitcoin. But one which is exclusively run on an altcoin chain may be more fitting in the altcoins section.

we don't deserve to be promoted on gambling section?
All gambling projects can be promoted on the gambling section. Your ANN thread was likely reported and the mods agreed that it wasn't exclusively a gambling platform.

Maybe we need a new ANN thread just for the platform. Thanks
77  Other / Meta / Re: Why our gambling service thread moved to token section? on: September 22, 2020, 07:49:03 AM
Your ANN thread was promoting more than a gambling platform, and includes the road map of the token as well as information on staking and trading.

It also does not use Bitcoin and is run on an altcoin chain;
Users are able to mint WINR tokens as they play on the JustBet platform. WINR tokens are generated (minted) by Proof of Wagering.
Unfortunately you cant play with BTC on the platform at the moment because everything works on Tron Chain. You can play with TRX and USDT(TRC20).
These could be the reason it was moved, but you can wait for a more accurate response from a mod/staff

Yeah there is a roadmap but for the platform not for the token. Second, there is no rule that accepting bitcoin is mandatory.  That would be illogical because it is on Tron chain.

Bitcoin means blockchain/decentralization and we did JustBet for decentralization and we don't deserve to be promoted on gambling section?

Here is the thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276693.msg55218181#msg55218181

This is a clearly gambling service includes a token but we are promoting the service not the token. Why it is moved to token board?

Well, upon visiting on your site at a first glance the user interface looks good, --the color is very friendly to the user with the color combination of black, red, and gold color, it is indeed looking professional. By the way, welcome to the forum and waiting for some improvements that we can just try to test the site, it looks like I did not found a faucet or something to try your site. There are various games I saw there and I think, it is interesting to try your site.
Just one question, your site, and bitmart exchange are the same owner?

Thanks, Ryker1. BitMart is not the owner of the platform. We did IEO on BitMart. Actually community is the owner of the platform because all profit goes to the WINR holders via staking.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: JustBet - Where Everyone is a WINR - PLAY, STAKE, LEND, EARN. on: September 18, 2020, 09:46:50 PM
It's something like wink and betfury! I like tron projects, but in the same time I am aware of some not so successful tron apps, so I can only hope that you plan to run a legit business here! I am on your site already, just two games for now, it's how wink and betfury started too, with just few games, and now they have many games, they accept bitcoins too, so I believe you will follow their footsteps, but to draw people to your site you will need to offer something unique. I already have winnings tokens, but I must say that "TypeError: Cannot read property 'result' of undefined × Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." is confusing and it happens all the time on dices! By the way strange dice design, I am not sure I am like it or not.

Hey iv4n. Thanks for the feedback. We have fixed that issue. Can you please try again if you don't mind?

Great project Justbet I like the design of your website. Just a question for everyone I just noticed that some people are asking this thread to move to altcoin section I assume the gambling section needs to be bitcoin based or at least have bitcoin on the platform am i right?

First i applaud you for a well designed site, you are welcomed, I read through the stanzas of this message and I confirmed that the site is really interesting.
But I really want to know if the bet site used to accept btc because I have noticed that some gambling sites don't accept bitcoin betting, i want  to use this medium to recapitulates by saying that, is the app of this site necessary to installed in laptop.

Thanks for your kind words. In gambling section there are only 2 rules;

- One thread per site ONLY
- Giveaways/promos/etc do not belong in this forum!

As you see the rules are really clear and we can publish our ANN thread on this section. Second, we will of course integrate more payment system including BTC. JustBet is a baby, pls let him grow step by step Smiley
