61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ray Dalio says ‘I Have Some Bitcoin’ on: May 27, 2021, 07:58:20 PM
The fact that he talks about bitcoin as an asset is revolutionary. And even more comparing to a bond. The implications of legitimizing Bitcoin as an investment in the same class as a bond is more important than the previous ones when comparing with stocks or gaming money.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advert banned in the UK by ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) on: May 27, 2021, 07:39:18 PM
They did not specifically ban a Bitcoin ad. They banned an investment ad that did not make clear the risks involved in any investment. Probably if it were an announcement of an ETF or a specific action, the same thing would happen.
63  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Post no 4chan algumas horas antes da queda previu notícia da China (insider?) on: May 27, 2021, 07:07:47 PM

64  Local / Brasil / Re: Elon Musk, ajude nossa meme coin on: May 20, 2021, 03:59:40 AM

65  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Rede Globo investe em empresa BR de Bitcoin on: May 20, 2021, 03:54:00 AM

No Coingeck o número 77 é Ontology https://www.coingecko.com/pt/moedas/ontology . Será que é isso?
Bitcoin está a 60304. Será que chega a 77000? Ou cai para 7700 ?
Será que é o ETH até 7700? Ou cai pra 77 ?
Ou devo apostar 77 na roleta do 777coin ?
67  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Ripple: 20% so hoje. acordo com sec e volta as Exchange dos EUA on: April 09, 2021, 10:51:47 PM
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: November 24, 2020, 02:57:54 AM
Absolutely. Technical support and resistance is relevant for all liquid investment assets, including BTC and larger altcoins. The more volume and liquidity the market has, the more reliable S/R (and all technical analysis) generally is. And also as a general rule, higher time frame analysis tends to be much more reliable than lower time frames.

Looking at BTCUSD, the April-May and July-August pullbacks this year are perfect examples of retracements off very obvious weekly/monthly resistance levels that were established in 2019:

Exact. There are always points where investors pay more attention for a variety of reasons. It is essential to have an idea of what those points are. What are the reasons that led people to create a confidence to buy or sell at that price.
70  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: PIX e a Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 02:31:32 AM

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin had a stale block this morning on: November 12, 2020, 05:11:22 AM
https://forkmonitor.info/stale/btc/656477

"Bitcoin appears to have a stale chain of length 2, quite a rare event" https://twitter.com/BitMEXResearch/status/1326627907805065218?s=20

It happened again, but this time the event was even more rare. Nothing that causes a problem, just a curiosity.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 07, 2020, 11:07:18 PM
Speculation. Many people used leverage and need to dismantle their position. Unpredictability about the future, as it has risen a lot, it is risky to maintain this position.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / $1B of Bitcoin from Silk Road wallet moves for first time since 2015 on: November 05, 2020, 04:55:16 AM
https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/1b-of-bitcoin-from-silk-road-wallet-moves-for-first-time-since-2015-2341019

An anonymous crypto user has just moved 69,370 Bitcoin from an address associated with the Silk Road darknet market that more recently has become a popular hacking target.

Apparently he only accessed the wallet to update to the new address format. Interesting how it served for so long as a beautiful safe inaccessible by the government.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin custodial services increasing on: November 01, 2020, 02:53:04 AM
Custodial services are excellent for groups, funds and organizations. Imagine a non-governmental company that accepts donations in Bitcoins. For all, it ends up being more interesting that a third party is responsible for ensuring the custody of these resources. Even for audit reasons, for payment of fees and for better transparency.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran Changes Law to Use Bitcoin For Imports on: October 31, 2020, 04:24:09 AM
Dollar has been under a lot of pressure to stop being the main currency in the intermediation of international transactions. There is a good war  between countries like RUssia, USA, China, Europe. The problem is that in general the dispute is between dollars and other state currencies. Bitcoin is certainly an excellent option for those who do not have such a strong national currency and do not want to use the dollar. Bitcoin is freedom.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto address us? on: October 28, 2020, 12:59:25 AM
We have a project that is based on mathematics, statics and decentralization. Still, some are looking for a Leader to behave like a pastor in a church. This is crazy. Bitcoin is a decentralized project, you just need to read, study and trust the code. Don't want Satoshi to behave like the owner of TRON or the owner of Ripple. He created anonymously and disappeared for an ideal: decentralization.

Don't trust anyone, don't follow anyone. Read, study and verify.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Satoshi Nakamoto's PGP Key not currently on bitcoin.org ? on: October 27, 2020, 04:49:40 AM
It seems that at some point he removed the signature from the page. And they never put it on the page again.

There's this discussion on the subject https://github.com/bitcoin-dot-org/bitcoin.org/pull/79

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Abra CEO's portfolio is 50% Bitcoin as cash is 'becoming worthless' on: October 26, 2020, 10:43:45 PM
Only I think this percentage is small? ABra is a company that works with Bitcoin and Crypto. The CEO is expected to have a high amount, especially with this price hike. In fact, I find it strange that he still has this large amount of cash in his hands.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor saved my after robbery on: October 26, 2020, 02:24:02 AM
This story is a little strange. Maybe because you haven't developed everything that happened. Did you just stay with Trezor? Did you use it on any computer on the street? Also, did they steal your documents and credit cards? They were still recoverable when contacting the bank.

Bitcoin is interesting as a store of value. It is a portable safe. But still, a portable wallet like Trezor has very large risks close to that of other assets. With the advantage of having a password, but credit cards also have them.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO TREND HYPE.... on: October 23, 2020, 07:34:50 PM
I hope they are projects focused on privacy and decentralized. Because most new projects today have an owner. I find that incredibly bad. I don't understand how anyone invests in a project like Tron, which is a private project with a face that no one in their right mind should believe.
