I read the latest PBC report the other day, a large part of it focuses on a coin with the same features that XC will implement. Price projections are good to say the least, so I'm hoping XC gets the attention it deserves.

Yea there is no way they will pull this off. Mining on a phone is just a joke. They'll probably just credit those people coins for having the app running and call that mining.
That's not true, it can be pulled off, just like Bytecoin is able to be mined by something as weak as a $100 android tablet. It just won't be very profitable, but it can probably be done in the background while you use your phone for other things I'd imagine. Nooooo, there is no "mining" on the phone, they arbitrarily give you coins for running an app in the background. Read the whitepaper. It's a gimmick. |

How can so many have problems setting up masternodes? its super easy.

Seems impossible to setup a masternode. Please can anybody explain really how to setup a masternode of this coin? I run masternodes of other coins. Never had issues. Is this coin. Please tell me the secret. What version are you running? I'm running an earlier version myself, 1.5.0.0, so I don't know if there is an issue with the latest one. Mine works fine with the guide I posted earlier, and also works with another .CONF file that doesn't contain the private key. **Edit** I've just had a play around with my node .CONF out of curiosity, and it now doesn't work with out adding a couple of lines to the file. Weird, it's been running nonstop for a week without issue, but it works again now. rpcuser=**username here** rpcpassword=**password here** rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 listen=0 server=1 daemon=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=256 masternode=1 masternodeprivkey=**key goes here** mnconflock=0 Hope that helps! |
