61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: June 02, 2015, 09:34:25 PM
because my wallet is doing this to me, http://prntscr.com/7c9cx9

This might be anoying for you. but if your total balance is around  8.5k CON youŽll get in average 0.6 - 1% daily by staking which is 90 CON for you or 3 blocks per day.
I'd love to know how to calculate these incomes. Is there some kind of way to do the math with difficulty and block size?
Also does this mean that with 115k i'll make around 2.5k a day?

Sounds more like 1k a day from 115k if you do the math Wink

i begann staking CON because of the static block reward. And for the first two month of staking i just made an sheet and notet it down..and in average it made me 1% daily, also Crestington wrote a few pages back that its daily 0.6% now.
But its staking so it will be one day a bit more and the other day less or nothing  Grin

@Jahvinci i have now since around 16:30 my wallet running during i was not at home and i saw now my wallet found ~1000 blocks and is now at block 419322 from 423107 but i have atm 0 active connection hmm i dont understand it.. and no i dont made new a user have no time for that atm^^

Current block is 223314.  Are you using a laptop and did it go into hibernation mode and drop your network connection?  I would try stopping and restarting the client.
Are you using a maryjane.conf file?

Current block is 423317 not 223314

For all those who have asked, there will be no coin swap. No coins being added. 15.3 million coins is final.

but wouldnt it be better to have a new coin with the same amount and swap it 1:1 just because of the unsold burned coins still apearing in the total coincount?
also to prevent fud in the future when MJ might be much more valuable?

It doesn't appear on the blockchain, where does it show that? The reality of the matter is that there are only 15.3 million. If anything says otherwise its incorrect.

just put "getinfo" in the console of the wallet.

I'll have to see what I can do about that, but for the record there truly are only 15.3 million coins in circulation, once our block explorer is working maybe that will be cleared up. I'll fix it if the explorer doesn't though.

Hey i know that...but fudders wont believe.
i bought at ico, i just witnessed the the burn of unsold coins and ccexs amateurish behaviour....

I think there are at least 3 forks.  We need to figure out which one we should be on.

I just restarted my client  it's showing block 226503 of 319852 blocks downloaded.  Last block about 1 1/2 hours ago.

Here is the peer info.

Based on the last post I'm trying connect with a couple of the IP's that have the longer block chain.  So far it looks good 4320 of 418723

Maybe MaryJ or Jahvinci can post a bootstrap file to make updating faster.  Also does the client need updated checkpoint per Crestington?

Everyone should be careful not to transfer substantial amounts of coin until we're all on the same fork. Working on checkpointing and making a bootstrap file, stay tuned

I'm not sure the 418723 is actually a good chain either.  I got to 226503 without connecting to specific other clients.  Now that I tried to force myself to use the clients at a height of 418723, I seem to get stuck on block 4320.

Stopping and restarting the client a few times seems have now have things moving.    up to block 10028 and climbing.

Also I'm just futzing around, don't take anything I say or do as official.  I'm not really sure I even know what I'm doing...  Smiley
I know there are some sharp cookies out there that can look at this mess and tell us exactly where we should be.

I think the 400k chain is the better one, my wallet was somewhere at block 370000. if we take the 200k chain a lot of transactions would be missing.
which is now the case for me. my last transactions i did before the fork arent in my wallet yet.....

then please connect to these nodes...mine still doesnt sync but i keep on trying

or can you give us some of your nodes?

Thats what I'm connected to.

Ok guys, if you plan to keep this coin alive you all must turn on your wallets and let them stake. You need to have some amount of MARYJ in wallet to make it stake. In other case if you do not do that and keep your wallets offline this coin will die, as it is situation now. I made 3 nodes but there is no network to connect.

Turn on your wallets, let them stake and lets try to make the network alive!

addnode 194.135.90.5
addnode 194.135.90.81

I can not guarantee all this will work, but it is worth to try.

These...  Original wallet from 10/12/2014

me too now im syncing Smiley

Help Maryjanecoin node https://bitnodes.net/services/crowdfunding/maryjanecoin-node/

You have to understand no technology built in one day, without a large investment

hey, i understand this very well and if it even takes some more months to build the "perfect" wallet im fine with this!
But these greedy exchanges wont wait.
Just wanted you know what the support of ccex says. also they removed the market.....
