coin control feature when implemented into the wallet?

In our next wallet update, we're working on it now. Stay tuned.

Great news Smiley soon the price will go up again Smiley
I have a question and i was hopping someone from the community to help me.

My wallet is not staking properly i think ....
i got my stake coins after the 14 days of maturing and after that 0 !
i remember the rate was 100% in the first month or i am wrong? Is there a new wallet i don't know of ?
Sorry guys for the questions but i really need help  Embarrassed
Thank you all

When you stake once, you need to wait for the coins to be mature again. The rate was, and still is, 100% per year, during the first two months.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC] AsiaCoin | Back on all Exchanges | BOUNTIES! | Multipool Ready on: June 02, 2014, 03:08:07 PM
I didn't move/take any coin from my wallet.. Before I was staking almost every 2 days but now for almost 8 days none was been added. That's why I'm curious if anyone are still staking.

Thanks...

If nobody is staking, the network will freeze (in the same way as if nobody is mining, the PoW network will freeze). As long as transactions go through, someone is staking. You can actually see this from the block explorer:

http://ac.blockx.info/get/chain/AsiaCoin

The outstanding value increases every block, suggesting that there are people who are staking (we're now pure PoS so the any increase in coins is coming from staking).

--

What has happened is that all of your coins have staked once, and  now are waiting to be mature again (newly generated block from staking still take 2 weeks to mature). Once they're mature, you will see them staking again.

Could you someone /admin/ explain  moving /todays increase/ of AC coins at address: AXfa3cAuXHtfUnopBvdbSvnZ6XghHJjmD4

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ac/address.dws?191421.htm

In few moments: RANK 1

AsiaCoin Blockchain Explorer are not working at this moment!
Something wrong?

Both block explorers have been working fine, they've been up 100% in the past few days.

How can we explain someone having a lot of AC? We don't control the distribution Huh Usually when an address receives a big amount of coins (for any coin), it's either someone moving their coins in/out of cold storage, or it's an exchange sending their deposits to another server for security. Judging from the inputs of the transactions into that address, it's 99% an exchange wallet.

http://coinok.pw/wallet/ac/

I moved all my AC from my polo account to the above AC paper wallet when AC was being de-listed.  Now, I have the paper with the secret key but i have no idea how to send them back to POLO so I can use them.  There is no import key in the new wallet and no android wallet....  Anyone out there that knows WTF to do please advise!  Huh

You can import your private key into the wallet using the daemon console:

Code:
importprivkey <bitcoinprivkey> "label"

Example:

Code:
importprivkey 5KJvsngHeMpm884wtkJNzQGaCErckhHJBGFsvd3VyK5qMZXj3hS myofflinewallet

are there any marketing news from asian merchants? Roll Eyes

We're talking to a few, but they're waiting for a payment processor. So another reason that CoinPayments is a real deal for us Smiley

I do not know, faucet it good or bad? On the one hand, people can get free coin, and on the other hand, received a hundred coins per day - bring down the price on the exchange. Let's can distribute less? Where have you seen a free Bitcoin 100 coins in day? If we give out so much, so this coin is worth nothing. I'm against it. Let's discuss!

that amount would not cause any significant difference to the market, even if people just dumped them.

These are among our future plans:
.
.
.

* Integrating anonymous transactions (long term)

.
.
.

I saw that there is a zerocoin directory in the source code. Are you planning to integrate zerocoin technology?

Plan, yes (none of this centralized mixing anonymity that we see these days). If we're gonna do something, we will do it the right way.

I don't know when (or if) we can finish this. Integrating zerocoin requires substantial work and it all depends on how the future goes. This is really long-term.

Team, we are still listed as a scam in altcoinherald:

http://altcoinherald.com/altcoin-lists/scamcoins/

We really need fix that.

It's not like their writer didn't know of our work and listed us there. He's been on our thread, knows all the facts, and still decided to spread negativity, discouraging people here to help out or support, reporting every single news that goes against AC (even that a pool failed to make an AC payout), but never anything positive about what we have achieved here as the greatest damage control and comeback in the history of cryptocurrencies.

Journalism is far more than putting words on a screen. Something that the cryptocurrency world needs to understand sooner rather than later.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC] AsiaCoin | Back on all Exchanges | BOUNTIES! | Multipool Ready on: May 27, 2014, 06:10:27 PM
Another dumb question on staking.
After my coins have aged for 2 months, the staking value goes down (percentage wise).
If I take those coins and send them to an exchange and then back to my wallet, don't I reset the age on those coins so they will get another 2 months of 100% staking?
Or is that not how it works and im just a dummy?
No, it doesn't work that way. Once the 2 months is over, the next tier will kick in.
Ok, so there is no point in moving the coins around to reset their age.
Thanks

Yes, the staking percentage is global and the same for everyone at that specific time.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC] AsiaCoin | Back on all Exchanges | BOUNTIES! | Multipool Ready on: May 27, 2014, 11:33:18 AM
As you guys can see we had a great head-start but some of the coins are catching up, and they're heavily advertising for it (they will get more votes, no doubt).

1st   UTC   Ultracoin   69   [18%]
2nd   AC   Asiacoin   59   [16%]
3rd   MYR   MyriadCoin   50   [13%]
4th   FLT   FlutterCoin   48   [13%]
5th   GRS   Groestlcoin   40   [11%]
5th   CINNI   CinniCoin   40   [11%]

So if you haven't done so, AC needs you right now:

CoinPayments.net Vote NOW!

http://www.coinpayments.net/vote

What you need to do:

1. Go to the website.
2. Choose AsiaCoin and click Submit.
3. Fill out the form to get your own BTC deposit address.
4. Send 0.001 BTC - or equivalent in LTC/Doge - to that address (make sure to add a transaction fee to ensure it arrives within 4 hours!)
5. Confirm your email (click on the link sent to your email). They will send the confirmation email after your BTC transaction gets 6 confirmations. If you don't do this, your vote won't get confirmed.

Done! Please read my other post about CoinPayments to know why this is very important for AsiaCoin.

Don't forget to click on the link in the confirmation email, which they send once your transaction is completed and after its 6 or 10 confirmations. If you don't do this, your vote won't count.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: May 26, 2014, 09:07:19 PM
exactly right paulr1. much much much to low. i really can not understand why people are selling at this price

It's because of the same reason UTC was a candidate of removal from a couple of exchanges in the past few days: low trade volume.

UTC will not have an increased value as long as there is no buy pressure and trade volume is this low. Volume brings attention to a coin, as long as there's no volume people don't even notice the great features of UTC. A kick-ass X11 multipool can help UTC, but there are also other ways to bring in more volume.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC] AsiaCoin | Back on all Exchanges | BOUNTIES! | Multipool Ready on: May 26, 2014, 08:13:08 PM
Hmm....
Firts i think devs and cumunity did good job to get back AC to life. They did a lot of great things for AC to become visible betwen people, but i think is not right way. Is good to exposure coin to people, but what do you think who will be interested to buy coun which price is droping all the time 5-10% constantly?
Even if 1 million people see promotions about AC, will that be enough to convince them to buy coin if price is always droping?
I think we need big pump of coin so people who dont know AC will start observing coin, check coin history, price movement on market and if there will be some positive wawes on price that will convince them to buy coin. If coin is always droping and loosing on price noone will buy.
We can play such game till AC will be worthed 1 satoshi, will not be first and last coin that such thing is happen to coin.
I admire work of community and devs for AC, but what will taht bring us if we dont do something about AC price? Will 10 website where AC is accepted raise price? I dont know, but i think new people who will want to buy AC will look at price nothing else. If is always droping they will not buy.
If im mistaking i will be glad. If im right... then all AC holders will loose what they invest in AC including me. Sad
PS. Didnt want to offend anyone, just saying what i think.

You're right. People usually don't invest in a declining coin, especially one with low volume (although our volume is decent, but it's not as high as some other coins), but that's in the hands of the community to change. Today with our Thunderclap a lot of new buy orders appeared, but a lot of people were ready to offload their coins to the new people, while that happens of course we'll be on a decline.

Since the community takeover and forming of AsiaCoin Foundation, I think we've done far more progress than most coins within this short time. One of them is evident on CoinPayment's vote, we're competing with  coins far older than us (UTC, FLT, Cinni, MYR, GRS), and we're holding up pretty well, and the things the foundation pulled off in these three weeks, but in the end it's always up to the people to decide what to do with their coins, we don't have the resources to do heavy market control and we don't control a substantial amount of AC to have a grip on the market.

If people want the price to increase, it has to come from each and every single member of the community.

Yes, wondering exactly what this does for the coin/community.
Is this just a way to expand visibility to the mining commumity, or to try and cause increased coin price through exposure?

It's all about exposure.

wallet encrypted need remain opened and unlocked? or wallet not stack if is encrypted?

more of weeks that I opened the wallet but the value stack is always 0

wallet needs to be open and unlocked, but it still can be encrypted. use this command:

Code:
walletpassphrase YOURPASSPHRASE 99999999 true

If the stake value is still zero, it means your coins are not mature for staking yet (you can give me your address and I can tell you exactly when they will mature).

future  any plan?

These are among our future plans:

* Rebasing AsiaCoin from a newer, more recent and featurefull fork of Bitcoin/BlackCoin
* Adding staking diagnostics to the AsiaCoin wallets (useful for people who are staking)
* Adding coin control features
* A new visualization feature of staking/transactions
* Redesign of the wallet artwork to focus on its Asian style
* Integrating anonymous transactions (long term)

+

* Web wallet
* Android wallet
* Dedicated X11 multipool

(we're working really hard on the bottom three, you should expect some good news very soon)

--

On the marketing side, most of our focus is on CoinPayments and having merchants support AsiaCoin.

--

How can you help?

* Buy AC.
* Don't sell AC for low prices.
* Vote for us on CoinPayments
* Volunteer if you think you can help us with anything (development or marketing)
* If you are able to, donate to the foundation because if we have the funds, we can then professionals to do some of the more time consuming development tasks for us rather than doing all the work ourselves
