Nice whitepaper you published today!
Am i correct that the blockhalving is in 3days? Roll Eyes

Very well written whitepaper and well thought out. I think that this coin is even better than BTC itself.

Got me thinking that video conferencing had been around for a long time. The real disrupter was the iphone had facetime and ANYONE  could use it. This native to use with TOR really addresses the concerns that people around the world have in many different govt structures but don't have the know how. Awesome idea !

I'm confident the development team thought this through but is 2 million Razor enough for a world population that will demand this coin for their privacy and safety ?

Enough for an online community

You'll see more consistent returns if the pool is a larger percentage of the "network".  For a multipool, the network isn't a single coin, but basically the combined speed of LTC+DOGE, since the speed moves between those two networks a lot based on profitability.  For most other coins, it's not that relevant, since they're only worth mining for short bursts, and even 6 GH/s is more than enough to squeeze profit out of them for that brief time.

The larger the pool gets, the more reliably we can find blocks, but the smaller reward you'll get per block, the same as regular pool mining.  The advantage is your returns will be closer to expectation since getting paid more often (but less each time) means that when there is bad luck, you're not missing out on as large a chunk as you would otherwise miss out on.

I feel ashamed, Ltc blocks were stalling any income it seemed as we lost about a gigahash. I swiched to multipool and now im regretting it. I miss you eleuthria you and kittehcoin  Undecided

Just wanted to point out that there's a typo in the url for the number 1 spot. It's listed as "mutipool.us" Should be "multipool.us" no?

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta on: June 26, 2014, 06:32:58 AM
Well we're up to 6GH/s now, if we get more speed would that help with our chances of getting better returns?

Hmm, Ill shoot for an answer to that

IDK

For 1. I think more speed = more rewards overall? Right?

Also For 1. I also think more miners on pool = Less reward per share Right?

Hmm hopefully Just the top one

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【Truth or FUD???】DarkCoin – The Next Big Thing, or Just Another Pump and Dump? on: June 08, 2014, 05:58:40 AM
Pretty much hate to know the fact of "premine" (not actual meaning of premine, but very close to). Dev just makes use of some tricks to fool people around, and this fact should not be hidden.

(...)
Yeah, sure. If you believe that every pre-announced coin in the altcoin section is instamined by "dev & friends", you need to step back and do a reality check.

The reality is, that ever since the altcoin became profitable, there are hundreds and hundreds of people monitoring the section and mining EVERY SINGLE COIN.
No exception. Every announced coin is mined by hundreds and hundreds of people.

And you know what happens next? The moment coin hits first serious exchange, most early miners dump the coins. That's if they haven't sold through forum already.
Why? Because 99.9% of the coins does not EVER rise more than that. Guaranteed.

The only way for "dev & friends" to get easy coin is:
1) pre-mine
2) ninja launch

None of this happened, and you have exactly.... 0 proof that "dev & friends" holds millions of coins.

Do you still believe "dev & friends" hold millions of coins?

If this wasn't enough, do you really think that mystery buyer would spent 6.2mln USD in BTC between 26/05 - 02/06 buying coins dumped by panic sellers?
Having that much money, you're not stupid, especially buying at such dips.

Do you really think someone smart enough to have 6.2mln USD would have dropped that much money into DRK, if he had even a slight suspicion of it being a scam?
If yes, I'm afraid that even reality check might not help, you've lost it.

Holy Shit lUke Skywalker you made my day hopefully there isnt something hidden we all find out about till then i havent seen evidence one way or another dark coin is in the dark its either make or break and i am sure if there is a huge wallet out there somewhere that person isnt gonna sell till it passes btc if it does.

76  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy: This Connection is Untrusted on: May 24, 2014, 01:17:47 AM
DON'T allow any "untrusted" connections. Deny them all.

It could be a random man-in-the-middle hijack of your connection to Cryptsy, trying to grab your log in but doubtful since 2 factor login is usually setup on accounts.

Or they could be lurking on Cryptsy's connection waiting for their next target.

Or it could be merely a temporary technical issue.

Try another known safe browser 1st: (Firefox or Internet Explorer as long as their fully updated and current).

Be sure this is the link to Cryptsy your using:

https://www.cryptsy.com/users/login  - the one I use, the normal log in page for Cryptsy.com

Cryptsy -  Backup alternative Login#2

https://www.cryptsy.com/users/login/users/balances - this one is for when the 1st one gives the 501 error, or whatever that error number is. Seems to solve that often.

Either of the above in Firefox will result in the green padlock and green colored "Project Investors Inc. US" in the address bar if your connected to their https connection. IF that dark shaded padlock in .I.E address bar colored green isn't all there in the address bar, or a green padlock isn't in Firefox along with green colored "Project Investors Inc. US" then your not on the correct site and someone is trying to scam you.

Of course that Trojan may not be completely eradicated either, your av may have merely deleted it without undoing all the changes it may or may not made to your pc. Maybe try System Restore to a known prior Restore Point.

Or maybe the Trojan messed with that browser and changed it's settings.

Or maybe if it is a real man in the middle they will give up sooner.
Occasionally last year that would occur to my PCs.
Usually running Ccleaner and rebooting seemed to solve it, or it just went away on it's own.

It you messed with setting your Internet Security Firewall to scan encrypted connections in it's advanced settings this could also result in an "untrusted setting" warning when trying to connect to https:// connections such as Cryptsy's log in pages.

It could be merely hackers scamming in your local area. Maybe if nothing else solves it when you go to sleep unplug the cable modem/dsl cables, both. Replug them in 8 to 12 hours later. You are likely to get a new IP address this way in some areas, sometimes sooner, sometimes it takes longer to be re-assigned a new IP address this way. Some ISP's may still issue the same exact IP anyway when you plug everything back it. Disconnect all wires from the Modem to A/C and the incoming coax/dsl-phone type cables, but you can leave the router to modem cable connected, but unplug the router a/c cord too. Reconnect the modem 1st, wait one minute until all regular lights are flashing that can flash/stay on, then reconnect the router a minute later. Have all pc's/tablets/phones shut down if possible too so none get the same IP assigned address by mistake after restarting.

Try the above, go from there. Work the problem through this list.

ok all cryptsy links redirect to my isp search page or if i click on the cryptsy seach tag i go to bing... or back to the isp search page.

Every other site on the interent works.  reset router reset ip changed ip, re installed firefox deleted firefox security certificate app data file. and re installed firefox again.

created a cryptsy support ticket but since this is localized to ME and this other guy ill be last to get someone smart to help me out.

-the security certificate i get is for bing... i dont understand.
probabbly like u said the trojan changed something and after i removed it things are still changed.

tell me though. what trojan causes every device on the network to report cryptsys certificate as bingS?   and how do i fix that.......  ><
77  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware using Localbitcoins SMS! on: May 23, 2014, 11:32:43 PM
on't 100% trust using Localbitcoins SMS - they are having SMS delays of at least 30-40 minutes.

yea i had .6 btc stolen from me yesterday beacuse i didnt use sms. it was gone in 2 seconds

i recommend using every availible secuirty measuer possible to gaurd your online btc and your wallets beacuse if you dont you shouldnt use btc anyway beacuse you will end up loosing all your investments

your family will tell you ha shouldnt have bought into that scam coin nonsense called BITCOIN

when the real trouble was you/me not using BTC safegaurds such as sms....   FFFMT*... (crys*) (sniffels*)

they stole all my btc  in 2 seconds :L( from both cryptsy and localbitcoin i thought i was downloading a 32bit darkcoin miner on cryptocointalk.org( WAS A TROJAN) he had my btc before i could send it

all beacuse of not using the SMS verification method so blaintanly described as a defence against people stealing your btc.  Meow im so mad sad unglad pissed kissed dissed im gonna go lay down (heart palpitations)

Correct your pc's date and time

Thanks for the reply shivamchawla. The time is correct.

Just as an FYI, I can access this web site via my mobile device.

I'll try resetting my router and clearing cache again. If that doesn't work I'll contact my Internet provider.

And? Now I'm stuck out of my kindle and android. All on same Lan wireless to my router. all say same thing about cryptsy

www.cryptsy.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names:

*.bing.com, *.platform.bing.com, bing.com, ieonline.microsoft.com, *.windowssearch.com, cn.ieonline.microsoft.com, *.origin.bing.com, *.mm.bing.net, *.api.bing.com, ecn.dev.virtualearth.net, *.cn.bing.net, *.cn.bing.com, *.ssl.bing.com, *.appex.bing.com, *.platform.cn.bing.com

if i hit i understand the risks create exception ect. it still directs me to bing. mobile networks access cryptsy just fine, proxys access cryptsy just fine, just my local network for some reason?

I dont understand ....... reset router ! Y restart comp Y

p.s. this might have something to do with getting a trojan yesterday and getting .6 btc stolen in like 2.5 seconds after downloading a x11 32bit cpu miner for dark coin off one of these websites. but cryptsy worked fine after that.

Anybody have an idea what the hell went haywire? or should i call my isp and not get back to anyone else who has this problem, right?
79  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ridiculous Cryptsy chat bans on: May 12, 2014, 07:20:09 PM
Yea that's like being called Christian and I don't take offense to that. I don't think people who think it's offensive really dont have a reason why they think it's offensive they just say it...
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ridiculous Cryptsy chat bans on: May 12, 2014, 04:39:57 PM
It all depends on the context it was used in. Did you miss the 'verb offensive bargain with someone in a miserly or petty way' part?

Nothing was said, for 5 mins prior to. The question is the context....

Calling a man a man is offensive if he/she is a crossdresser yet the word man is not a bannable offence.

Asking "are you a Jew" rings not under verb but noun and so the Jim mod was incorrect in citing it as a derogatory slang word, I can think of slang words derogatory to Jews(plural) but "Jew" itself is not.

Still 1yr ban what for, I just don't understand their motive, any Jew should be proud to be a Jew scout if you ask a Jew if he is a Jew if he is a Jew it's not taken as derogatory obviously.

Simply assuming "Jew" is derogatory slang is actually racist/anti-Semitic ....
