61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: June 16, 2020, 08:17:39 PM

To be honest, i feel like this is just the beginning and with each day to come, more and more people will be getting to know more about bitcoin and even those that knows about it and still skeptical about it's vision will eventually realize one day that cryptocurrency and blockchain holds the key to the future as centralized systems are getting more and more complicated with each day. The difference between jp morgans tweet of years back and that of this year clearly shows that bitcoin has proven to him to be more than what it really assumed it to be
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Questions I have about Bitcoin on: June 15, 2020, 11:18:32 PM
So far, bitcoin is behind in its slow transaction speed and high transaction fees. than Ripple and Tron but these coins are behind regarding Bitcoin's popularity among the investors. there are lots of attempts of these coins to promote themselves to get popularity from the investors but no luck at all. these only indicated that Bitcoin is hard to overcome by those new coins that have both the speed and lower transaction fees. we also have the lightning network technology ongoing development and we are still in its early stage. Right now, all eyes are on BTC price and everyone is not bothered by its slow transaction speed.

You are right, majority of people in cryptospace are just after the profit and certain increases they will add to their investments due to it's nature of going up and down as a result of volatility. To truly achieve the vision of satoshi Nakamoto, a lot of improvement needs to be done across cryptocurrency network and when the various underlying challenges get solved, we would definitely see more adoption and new people making use of cryptocurrency for their daily transactions
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: June 15, 2020, 11:03:59 PM
Learning is really paramount because to survive in this market, you need to be well equipped with all the needed informations being it the fundamentals, median and advance concepts of the market. I believe most people are here in this space  because of earning more income, that can not be possible without having proper of how things work and the greatest effect of not having enough knowledge about the market do often results in loss of both time and investment. And like you said, being equipt with the right knowledge of Blockchain will help in selling the decentrization concept to the people that knows little to nothing about blockchain
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: June 15, 2020, 10:57:15 PM
What advice can you give those who buy Bitcoin at 19k in 2018? Because I still have friend who got in at that time, now he doesn't have the mind to sell and take his loss, what is the best advice to pass unto someone in this situation??

It's really quite a sad story for everyone that got in during bitcoim ATH of $19k and i must say your friend is really strong for being uptimistic since then. There is a general saying in this space and I've come to realize how much of a truth it is; "You only lose when you sell at a price lower than your entry price". So far, your friend is still in the game and I'll advice he keep holding as when thing is certain in this volatile market, the price will rise up ome day no matter how long it takes
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ProjectS Review, before your investment in 2020 year on: June 13, 2020, 11:28:56 PM

Note: This is not enough article for analysis a good project right now at this time. Because i see some trust project going to death after few month later. So here in many people, they're have lot of skills for checking a good project. (Therefore, welcome to share your mind).

The crypto market has seen quite a number of scam projects to the extent it is now difficult on how to differentiate between the good ones and the bad ones. Various statistics shows that the number of scam projects actually superceed the real ones. Nice analysis guildlines you listed out, however those requirements seems so very common that even the scam projects do mets them. Investing in this space currently requires taking some leaps of faiths now
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: June 13, 2020, 11:24:24 PM
My sister wants to invest into this project: https://www.dxrcointrade.com/ but for me it looks like a scam... can you guys help me get redflags? what you guys think?

Just like virtually everyone member of the community that has drop a comment on this thread, i don't see any potential on this project and i'd advice your sister stays far away from it. Reading through the website, i discovered they have no real tangible products rather they were just mincing words to confuse investors the more. I've seen quite a number of projects like this in tye past and to be honest, they ends up failing or running scams
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: June 13, 2020, 11:20:18 PM
With blockchain data can be stored in a decentralized public book.

With cryptocurrency, we can make anonymous transactions without centralized intervention.

If you add speed and spread to the public, then the future is cryptocurrency.

How do you think?

I believe these are the vision behind both cryptocurrency and blockchain and to be honest, it is what drove me into this space. I believe this potential are what will drive this present and future generations, however we need more perfection to cryptocurrency and blockchain because the current network isn't efficient yet and can't really withstand the traffic when the whole world fully adopt cryptocurrency
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2020, 10:16:43 PM
I cannot find any real reason why you should spend your bitcoins in order to shop online.
In my opinion, Bitcoin has a bigger value than the one right now so it is not worthy spending them for shopping. It is better to keep them in your wallet and consider it as your investment. If you want to buy something online use a stablecoin...

I don't see anything bad in using bitcoin for shopping online. After all, the concept behind the creation of bitcoin promote more of using it for daily transaction than keeping it for investment with the hope of selling it off when the price increases tremendously. Bitcoin is too serve a decentralized digital currency that provide people with secure and anonymous option to FIAT currency, so using it to shop online is really a cool idea
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is based on probability. on: June 06, 2020, 09:20:50 PM
I don't necessarily agree with you that it is all probability, there are clearly events that influence and the market, and there are frequently repeating patterns that can be used to your advantage.

You could definitely beat the odds with knowledge while trading, which is definitely not possible if it was all based on odds. Remember, more than half of retail traders lose money, while experts can win in nearly any market—that doesn't sound like it's probabilistic to me.

I agree with you point but even but nonetheless, i believe every traders knows about how even technical analysis from veteran traders do end up going to south and entirely different from what they predicted. Using the market statistics and data from the charts can only take you so far but then you have to follow some blind faith often atimes and that is the risky aspect of digital assets trading
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes i do on: June 06, 2020, 09:13:46 PM
I am not a  newbie in cryptocurrency industry. But that doesn't mean i am a big trader.I am a small trader and in this topic i will tell about my  mistakes i normally do.So small traders can survive and avoid  those mistakes.

1.Normally when i buy any coin,i wait sometimes for coin to rise. But when it doesn’t i sell this coin and after somedays it increases and it leaves me thousands regrets.

2. When i decide to buy any coin,i don't study about its chart,so normally i buy coin in their peak.As a result when the price of the coin falls,i loss chunk amount of money.

3.My biggest mistake is panic selling. If any coin falls a little i panic and sell my share. And it cost me some money. And again when it increases,i try to buy.Its not very good.

So i want to tell all that you have to understand chart, their graphs and you have to read projects whitepaper and all.

Thats it for now.All of you can share your trading mistakes and we all can learn from it.

I believe the perfect path towards self growth is knowing actually where your mistakes are coming from and from your write-up, i believe you perfectly have them ironed out. The only thing left now is for everyone and you included to learn from those mistakes and make possible corrections, I'm glad you wrote your suggested points an how to avoid such mistake and i have to say they are on point. Nice topic you roll out here.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THINGS THAT CAN'T BE TAUGHT IN TRADING on: June 06, 2020, 09:09:18 PM
So I realized there are so many things that can't be taught in trading.

One major thing I know can't be taught is the psychological aspect of trading.

No matter the number of videos you watch on this, you need to learn your psychology by Yourself! This is just a fact!

What other things can't be taught in trading?

I agree with you, not every can be taught as there are certain things that you just have to learn to take care of your self and believe psychological aspect of trading covers them all. How you can perfectly deal with greed, emotions and self discipline and above all, knowing what you actually want because this is what will guide and help you manage your emotions amd other psychological aspect of trading perfectly
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is based on probability. on: June 05, 2020, 11:59:52 PM
A lot of people do not want agree that surviving in the market today requires every trader to come to terms that they are trading on probability and at every moment of the trade there are series of different possible outcomes.

As a trader, the best you can do is find the most likely scenario based on the data you have and understanding the risk involved too.
Choose the best probable outcomes that favors you to avoid stories as rekt.

I can't agree more. This is possibly the case of every market driven by the force of demand and supply. To be honest, Trading is not as easy as it seems or how people do write about it... It is more complicated than that as the market is being driven by many factors. Studying the chart and working out analysis can only take you so far in trading. It is advisable you trade with a spare money or amount you can afford to lose because the market is highly volatile and it can go against anybody
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading on: June 05, 2020, 11:58:22 PM
Hello All,

I was hoping to get some advice as I am brand new to crypto and trading. So if I have bought an Altcoin or bitcoin at a higher price than it is now should I sell and buy the dip or does crypto not work like that? I am trying to find the best way to start making small profits.

Any help is appreciated.

When you purchase top altcoins, selling them off due to decrease in price is not advisable as they have the tendency to all climb back up. There's a general saying among trade experts that you lose in cryptocurrency trading only when you sell off at a dip price lower than your purchase price
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 rising altcoin on: June 05, 2020, 11:53:07 PM
I wanted to ask the community which you think are the emerging altcoins of 2020.
We are already halfway through the year and can we have an idea of what the revelations of 2020 were, or was it a weak year for altcoins?
in my opinion 2020 has shown that eth does not give up the second position

In as much as we expected a more promising market in this year 2020, i have to give it crypto market as the market seems a bit stable. I believe after the end of COVID19 and the world resumes back to normal daily activities, we might see a bit of a better market probably in the third or fourth quarter of the country
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever got it wrong? on: June 04, 2020, 11:59:58 PM
I have come to a conclusion that we might need to reflect on the past at times to set the future right. What brought about this conclusion?
I have had so many negative experiences in some things in life which cryptocurrency is inclusive. I kept asking myself why? but there was no answer to that until I finally found the energy to reflect on my past history involving those things which cryptocurrency is one of them. Reflecting on the past helped me to traced my wrong steps which eventually was corrected and results began to roll in. To put an end to that negative experience, maybe you just need to reflect on the past. In case you are on average, you can still reflect on the past to be above average.

My past experience isn't really a sweet one. I made a lot of mistakes here in crypto market ranging from buying high and ending up selling low due to emotions but i believe those mistakes made the foundation of how good i am now. Whle on my hunting adventure,  i lose a lot of fortune because i didn't have the right orientation and above all i made mistakes from knowing when to laid off a token
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: June 04, 2020, 11:56:14 PM
People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins
I don't agree that every coin will go for a huge high like what bitcoin and other coins done so people are investing on those coins only for short term when they are seeing decent profits then they will dump it and this happens with almost every shitcoins that is why they are not recovering even when bitcoin turns into bullish.

I agree with you, not every altcoins are Worth hodling as most of them are designed with juct the intentions to make profit out the market and once they do, they pack up. Most of the major altcoins that he referenced to in the main thread are projucts with real life solution which is not common among new altcoins start ups now
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: June 04, 2020, 11:50:06 PM
if we talk about earnings from bounty campaigns over the past year, I have earned about 3-4 thousand dollars and many coins are not even traded on exchanges yet, but they are developing inside the project. the most important thing is to choose the right projects and take part in them on time

Wow that must be really great and it sounds really nice... BTW, are you a Bm? Cause for the last 1 years now, bounties have hardly pay up and the onces that paid up on this forum canbe counted... So you making around $3-4k since june last year from just bounty hunty really makes me curious. What i've earned from jume of last year is nothing to write home about. Congratulations BTW
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hits $10k, Coinbase goes down (again) on: June 02, 2020, 02:48:53 PM
I just checked out the exchange and it's working rather fine, i think the server downtime has been rectify already. This situation is common among exchange when bitcoin is having a sudden surge in price and i believe if the movement continues upward, we should see more exchange announcing maintenance operations due to server failure
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may be the solution to Africa's broken financial system. on: June 02, 2020, 02:45:27 PM
The report is accurate because we're already seeing a strong market turn up for cryptocurrency across african countries. Cryptocurrency will go a lot way in restructuring the financial sector across the continent because Africa is non for having quite a really centralized driven financial sector where lots of bodies hides behind to loot funds as well rip off the financial assets of the masses. I believe cryptocurrency will be fully adopted by everyone in Africa if we can see to the volatility issues affecting cryptocurrencies
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real value of blockchain on: June 02, 2020, 02:40:47 PM
I’m trying to figure out the REAL value of blockchain. For example creating social network on BC is totally useless, BC for cryptocurrency is the REAL value

Can someone explain what’s the real value, why would I build something on BC except for “decentralization”. If I can build something with other technology why would I use BC.

What is it that I can do ONLY with BC and cannot be created with any other tech?

Please help me see the value in BC because I still don’t see it

You are right about one thing,  cryptocurrency is the best application of blockchain so far but i assure you, there are a lot that can be done with Blockchain. Few months back,  a young blockchain enthusiasts in African designed an electoral voting system using the potentials of blockchain technology and it is currently being used across many education institutions for voting and electing union leaders. I believe with time, countries will adopt the use of such transparent means of electoral system
