Gamble it. That will keep you entertained for a little while until you lose it (though you could get lucky). So i've got about 5.50$ in BTC sitting on my android wallet.
I'm bored @ work and i'm gonna be here for the next 5 hours...
I've got hulu playing..but what else can i do?
Go out of house, leave computer and other devices. walk through the park, meet someone, talk to the people. Go Swimming, read some good book, watch nice movie, enjoy life Read the op. He's at work so he can't go out and is likely stuck behind a desk or something. Something tells me he isn't the manger of a store, though (and if you are you should probably be concerning yourself with the day to day runnings of whatever you're in charge of).

Keep it as a secure computer to keep your coins on. They'll likely be much safer on a pi than a windows computer.

Once the exchange rates are stabilized, I believe that more and more people will start Bitcoin as a medium for sending their remittances. But right now, the exchange rates are too volatile.
How is it a problem? You can make that same argument for people using bitcoin as a currency but payment processors solve this issue and the remittance market will have their own processors. Send the money to the opposite side of the world within seconds and get your cash at the other end for the amount you agreed on when you sent it. Problem solved.

Why do you feel the need to advertise your gender at every available option? It's pretty much common knowledge around here that people do this for ulterior motives. Even if you're 'legit' it looks really tacky and cheap to me.

I think the better way to put it would be that I'm offering my approx 1000 previous posts for some minimal amount of payment. I understand completely if you're not interested. I guess it's just that for me, I'm not having a lot of time these days to read the forums and so I figured I may as well remove the advert and have less clutter on the boards (unless you want to pay me something to leave it up ). I would also like to get paid for doing nothing. Don't be so stingy. Join a campaign like bitmixer that doesn't require any minimums if you're not going to be making many or any posts. At least there's nothing to worry about and then if you do make any posts at least you'll get something for them.

I didn't know them, are they trustable? are they like a dropbox or more like mega and related? its interface does not look very professional and it does not give much confidence, however it is good more and more sites accept bitcoin
I'm not familiar with dropbox but it's just a filehosting site like mega/mediafire etc. I've been using them for a while but never needed to have a premium account as the files are very fast to download and there's not much wait between downloads. I can download a film in less than ten minutes then wait another 15 minutes and can download another so I don't see why anyone would need a premium account to be honest.

The remittance market is a huge industry that bitcoin needs to be adopted by and would definitely give bitcoin a massive boost. The benefits are clear to everyone as there's so much money to be saved so people that use remittance really need to get involved asap.

http://uptobox.com/?op=paymentsDid a search and haven't seen this mentioned but the filehosting site uptobox.com accepts bitcoin for premium membership. Good stuff.

Yes, i bought a plaque (the one from the video) - 2.5BTC+ shipping, he said he was sending it but never did. ___________________
Evening UKCRYPTO, Just wanted to touch base with you. The finish on the wall plaque cracked. The plaque itself is fine but we lost power for a day and a half with this last blizzard which means the heat went out at the shop for a day and a half and the freezing temp caused the finish to crack like a spider web (along with a dozen other pieces i had drying). The piece itself is not ruined, i just have to strip the finish off of it, sand it all down again, and re-apply the finish. I will keep you updated on progress and send you a tracking number for it when it is ready to ship again. Sorry for the delay, again. Mother Nature is not playing fair this year it seems. ____________________
So yes, i was scammed by WOODCOLLECTOR/STUFF4BITCOIN ETC...I have PM's and skype records but he failed to deliver.
You should make a thread in scam accusations about this and post all the details and his skype etc. Maybe someone can help you but unlikely.

Do you mean you're supporting bitcoin by holding or something else? If so, I agree. I plan to hold my coins for a few years but in the hope I can spend them once they reach their true value. By holding longterm you're essentially taking coins out of circulation so theoretically that should help keep demand up especially if you're accumulating more along the way.

... If you would like to discuss
this further please drop me a message stating your name, contact telephone number and your Bitcoin "net worth"
and me or one of the team will be in touch soon.
Kind regards
Chris
If he was legit he would be providing his name, and contact telephone number at a TV studio. LOL. If big-time media players want to contact you, they contact you. They don't go onto bitcointalk.org, which is pretty smalltime in the big picture. I learned in mass communications and print journalism, if you want to interview say Arnold Schwarzenneger, call Arnold Schwarzenneger. So OP is probably small-time or phony. But that doesn't mean OP isn't legitimate, just not big. This isn't wholly true. Where do you go exactly to find bitcoin millionaires or people who have made their fortune from it? It's not like these people have press agents you can call. This forum is a good start as this place was and still is essentially the hub of bitcoin activity. I remember a while back there was journalists looking for people to interview for a documentary who were involved in the cannabis growing industry and they asked on a popular growing board. Of course a lot of people thought it was a sting operation but it turned out to be a legit offer and the documentary was made along with the input and interviews of a couple of the members of the board who agreed to it (though I'm not saying this is a genuine offer).

It's still money. Just because it's a foreign currency doesn't mean someone cannot accept it. It's still wealth.
Gold, stocks, real estate, bonds - that's all wealth. But you can't pay taxes with that, only with money you can. That might be the definition of legal tender, but foreign currency is still money.
"Legal tender" is just the official status of money. Because Dollar is legal tender, you can pay taxes with them in the US. Yen is not legal tender in US, thus you can't pay taxes in the US. Ability to pay taxes is one important property of money, so Yen is not money in the US, although other features/properties of money for Yen are still given. Being able to pay your taxes with something isn't the definition of something suddenly becoming money. Money doesn't suddenly become meaningless or worthless because you can't pay taxes with it. I can't pay US taxes with UK money but it's still money. Some coiuntries even accept many other currencies from around the world. Some countries in Africa actually prefer dollars or euroes to their own fiat.
In those countries the US-Dollar is legal tender or defacto legal tender, so it becomes money there. Not true. There are many countries in Africa all with different laws regarding what is legal tender. I doubt you can pay your taxes in US dollars in most of them either. People just choose to accept whatever they want because other currencies are stronger, but are you saying if the us dollar falls out of favor in the US and bitcoin became their defacto currency then it would become 'money' there even if you couldn't pay your taxes with it? It's still money regardless but you seem to be contradicting yourself here.

I agree with vod that the bottom/third one is the best though on first glance I didn't notice any difference. I think the addition of the tap is relevant to the idea so it's better with it than without.

Are all American's stupidly naive Christians? No. Please don't generalize an entire nation based off one rude family. You need to man up or she's just going to walk all over you. Sit her down and calmly explain the situation and tell her she needs to start contributing and pay her way, otherwise she'll have to leave or get a hotel. I'd also consider ringing her parents and telling them the situation too. If you don't have the guts to speak to her about this she's just going to screw you for as long as she can and literally overstay her welcome.

One of the fundamental parts of paypal is the ease in which a transaction can be reversed if the customer is not pleased. Bitcoin transactions are irreversable. Many websites that currently accept paypal may be cautious about this. So that means Paypal will have to take the heat if something goes wrong in a transaction. Something I don't see happening.
The fiat payments are usually not reversible either but it's paypal's system that is the weak link. Paypal doesn't actually take the money back out of your bank account they just minus the balance from your account and then you owe them the money so they essentially take the heat until you pay back. If they handled bitcoin payments it would probably work in a similar way. Either that or they will just hold the money as some sort of escrow until the transaction has been successfully completed. Actually it does. I sold multiple items on eBay and some buyers submitted a claim that the item was not as promised or not as delivered. Immediately after the claim was filed, the transaction that put money into my account was instantly frozen and I was not allowed to access the funds. When eBay took support of the buyer, the same transaction was reversed. They can freeze your funds in your paypal account but they can't do anything if you had transferred the money into your own bank account. Your Paypal account balance would go into negative but they can't reverse the actual payment, only you can do that if you choose to pay it which you don't have to and can fight it. If the money is still in your paypal balance they'll take it though.

Well they could offer payments in a fixed dollar value. Maybe that would be better for everyone? At least people wont be worried about losing money then. Is there any negative effects to doing it this way?
It would be very hard for bitmixer.io to do, as everyone gets paid at a different time, so the bot probably would have to calculate the bitcoin price exchange constantly, and the bot would have to convert that amount into bitcoin in real time and send it. It would be quite hard to do. For all the people complaining, if you think the rates are too low, just join a different signature campaign. Simple. Also, I see some people complaining about the rates when they aren't even in this campaign. What's the point of that? I don't think it would be that hard to do, especially not for a bot. Sure, slightly more work than just paying a flat 0.0007 but maybe the rates should be reevaluated every once in a while if the price falls dramatically or continuously but like I said above most campaigns don't seem to have bothered changing their rates with price rises or declines.
