I want to know how I can withdraw coins from the wallet that are in staking. I understand that it will not be possible to do it instantly. Or for the withdrawal of coins from staking need also 24 hours?

You can disable staking by adding staking=0 in the bitcoinplus.conf file but if you already have coins in stake, you must wait for the confirmations to pass before they are spendable again.

Posted here for anyone who earlier commented on XBC Tor system being the same crap some shitcoins are offering.

The hybrid Tor piece of work is far more involved and again has some very strict back end node requirements.Amount of seed nodes being visible on the network as shown in the diagram. This also helps to secure the network and keep it stable.

Some bagholder dumping their coins?

Everything is getting hammered on poloniex not just XBC but it has definitely dumped considerably since its last high.

One question, and apologies if this has been asked before, if you have to reboot your computer does that mean it's another 12 hours until your balance will stake again?

Depends on the maturity of those coins,network/staking weight and if they have already found blocks. They  can go back to spendable at some stage anyway and wait again before going back to staking. Its a normal process but you should average 20% each year on all coins left continuously off the spending balance.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ►►►[XBC] BitcoinPlus ►Official Thread◄官方公告◄◄◄ on: July 11, 2017, 01:46:19 PM
I have 1.75 xbc that wont stake  Huh Huh

They will stake after 110 confirmations unless you have reserved them all for spending.

I haven't reserved any coins and after 24 hours they're still not staking, do i have to leave my computer on?
I thought as long as they're in the wallet that was all that was needed

You have a small amount of coins that are competing with larger balances of mature coins that have considerable network/staking weight than you but they should be staking once they have 110 confirms.Go into your transaction history and double click on the transactions to see how many confirmations you have.Any other issues contact mammix2 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=227772

POS eligibility is earned when your coins have sufficient "Coin Age". Coin age refers to the amount of time the coins have been inactive. Meaning they have not been transferred across the network or moved from the wallet. 12 hours of coin age is required for your coins to be eligible to earn POS rewards. You do not need to have your client open or do anything to gain coin age. Just dont move them. You can have some coins that are eligible and others that are not in your wallet. The POS block will be for a % of those staked coins. The POS ROi as it is know varys depending on the hashrate and the POS difficulty.Coins reverved for spending are the only ones that wont earn rewards.

Hi team

Could we try get listed on Allcoin?

Seems to be an up and coming exchange with already nice amount of volume. Not so many coins there so xbc could get visibility... and not drown under a million other ones.

Thanks

I will contact them but I think XBC was listed there before and they closed down unless I am mistaken. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=450306.320 I see now they must have reopened again.

Currently the developer wallet holds 14,000 units and sustainability plan will be updated when the next stake arrives. We have not had any stake for around 2 months now due to poloniex backload.Current development bitcoin balance is approx 3 BTC and weighs in @ around 8K usd.We are in a healthy position thanks to prudence and sustainable spending and will continue to adopt this approach.

Can you please identify the Poloniex Developer wallet holding 14k units?

Please and thank you,

MasterTrader777

Our development wallet is split up into a number of wallets for security reasons and is only known to poloniex. Why do you ask?

There are a number of reasons.

Should we speak in PM, or do you want this conversation public?

What is your issue?List your reasons here.

Well, let me keep it short.

How....if Poloniex Developer Wallet has had 14k units staking for MANY months at the 20% yearly interest....do you guys claim it still has only 14k units ( split up over multiple wallets ) ?

14k units at 20% yearly interest *on average* = 2800 units.

2800 units at current prices is far more than the 3 BTC your partner BitcoinPlusBus claims the developer budget current holds.

Do you get where I'm going with this, or should I lay things out in some sort of Barney style infographic?

Cheers,

MasterTrader777

They werent staking at these prices for many months. They were staking at a value of a few cents at one stage. For further information regarding sustainability plan etc contactus@bitcoinplus.org. BTW you do realise this coin was developed by us out of our own pockets and not through ICO or any way similiar to your own mastertradercoin?

@Egghead
@BitcoinPlusBus
@rushmybitcoin

Sorry guys for bothering again, but there is still something i wanted to ask You about.
I know our dev is working on enabling the wallet's internal messaging by-default.

And while i believe easy functionality is a good thing per se, i'm still a little worried about it's safety & security implications, especially for 24/7 staking nodes.
I admit i'm unable to assess, whether the messaging enabled by-default feature will mean a higher risk exposure to hacks or an increase of potential attack area.
But IF it will even mean just a SLIGHTLY higher risk of accounts (public keys) being spied upon, or having their IP's or onion-IP's sniffed out, for example by
unwanted incoming messages, SPAM or even outspoken threats,
i hope it's not too late already, to propose and appeal to our dev, to at least include a checkbox in the properties, for completely disabling the messaging.
I mean in a way, that when its disabled over the checkbox, that the messaging feature connection cannot be established and is permanently interrupted,
so that when disabled it's basically missing all the needed console commands (like in previous wallet version) which it needs to work.

In case the messaging is disabled, the data packets containing the message information should not even make it through to the other side,
and not that these data packets are coming through, regardless of checkbox setting, and are just not being displayed if disabled. I think you know what i'm trying to say.

I was thinking specifically about the security of accounts holding 50+ coins (but after further price increases, even accounts with less coins might feel concerned or get nervous),
and of course always-on staking nodes, whose operators simply do not need or not even want enabled by-default messaging.
I hope you will forgive me, if you think i wrote something stupid, but please consider, not all wallet users might feel the same about the messaging feature,
and the users will increase a lot over time.

Please also include the following providers on your list of payment-processors for a possible future integration:

https://www.altaccept.com/
https://www.edigicash.co/
https://www.expresscoin.com/
https://gourl.io/

Thanks for your attention and the continued efforts.

We were going to include an auto run feature or simply a push button generate public key through a graphical user interface but may just leave well alone. The suggested GUI part for other critical inputs/commands will have to wait for now anyway.

We have already contacted gourl and altaccept a few times but the other 2 are new ones the radar so will give them a go asap.

UNLESS we demand assistance from Poloniex and pay Poloniex for dealing with Coincheck and making this happen, by Poloniex asking this
favour from Coincheck or just forcing them.
(however this is based on the assumption Coincheck is really just Poloniex' japanese broker and intermediary)

My offer is still valid, that i will donate the cost of this "service fee" that Poloniex would ask for a Coincheck listing, as long as it's a reasonable amount.
Only condition i would have, is that Coincheck will get access to Poloniex XBC liquidity (or a portion thereof) and Coincheck putting up their own XBC sell orders in their order book.
And that Coincheck will assure Poloniex NOT to subsequently delist XBC within preferably the next 36 months (or 18 months minimum), despite of a possible low volume.

But i will leave it to the team, to decide whether they want to ask Poloniex for such assistance, or not.
To achieve a Coincheck listing i can see no other feasible way IMO

We can't make demands or force anyone to do anything. Its hard enough for Poloniex to deal with outstanding support tickets let alone deal with this request due to the overwhelming volume and userbase that has hit their exchange. On top of that they are dealing with every form of malicious attack from denial of service attacks to worse afaik.

We will discuss this with Busoni when he is around but it is always at his/their discretion what they can and cannot do for us.They have been very supportive to us over the years so we certainly won't be demanding anything.

I agree coincheck is something that would add immeadiate value to us and I have been tweeting/emailing/IRC/Skype etc them everyday along with Bittrex,shapeshift/changelly/Jaxx/Livecoin/Hibtc etc but at the end of the day the decision is theirs but your suggestions and kind offer is very much appreciated and well noted.

Thanks

It is fully syncing now but balance is 0 zero???

If still zero balance close your wallet app and search  %Appdata% and click roaming and then open bitcoinplus. Then drag out the wallet.dat and leave it on the desktop screen. If is says there is already a file by that name there just rename it wallet1 or something. Then drag back in your old wallet.dat you have already saved on your desktop if you have done this earlier and close the file back up and start up your wallet again and see if it works.

Yeah well its np. The dev team is working hard, im working hard on the margin trade xbc exchange. So on the long term this coin is golden.

Not sure if margin trading would work with XBC with the price being so volatile and so few coins but maybe when it reaches a few hundred thousand coins it will stabilise.I certainly wouldnt margin trade it myself because you could lose the lot in one swing but I suppose thats what the stop loss button is for.

Stellar is really scammy, on the long term it wont hold, because the stellar foundation will give themselves insane amounts of stellar soon.

Its not only them. Its all these ICO coins that raised millions of dollars and still have done shit and many have dumped. Some of them also awarded themselves huge premines for themselves and their buddies.Bitcoinplus [XBC] started off in the red with nothing.

ALL big money moving towards Ripple /steller ..

Stellar dropped to less than 40 sats in one day wiping out many margin traders.
