Anyone knows why ZEC deposits are temporary disabled on Poloniex for almost 16 hours?

And what will be with send coins from pool ?

I think they are doing some maintenance. You will get and see your coins after they fininsh the maintenance.

They twit :

Poloniex Exchange ‏  6 hr.
Working as quickly as we can to resolve the connectivity issue.

All back to normal

today my miner stopped and i restart and my one RX 470 card burned, i dont know how
One of my 470 also burned a couple of hours ago, on version 12.4.

I also had to reduce intensity on some old 280X - I just went back to 12.3 where things seems more stable.

You really think its burned ? Did you tried card on other PC ? , other mobo ? single card on other PC ?

Is it normal for the wattage to slowly increase the longer you run the miners. And is it normal for the wattage to go up and down in a range and not a constant rate. This happens on all algos but for ZEC it will start around 540 watts go between say 580 and 540 then range will slowly will go over 600 watts. My PSU is 600w EVGA bronze which  I is why I'm concerned. Is this normal or is there something wrong. Also is 550 to 600 watts normal for 3 470's, seems high.

i heard the 470s run at around 90 watts each. What CPU do you have? take one card out and measure again. The difference is what the card is using. High end CPUs may run at over 200 watts

The CPU is amd fx 6200, it is rated as 125w.  I was figuring 100 for each GPU and 125 for CPU should be 425 but it runs close to 600.

Your system without cards draw up to 180-200watt with this CPU, add 140 watt per card, total 180+420 , its 600. All is correct. You can undervolt cards to get 110-120 watt power draw per card.
My rig 6*470s runs at 850watts

I have a 1000w psu 6 x 470 8gb, was running fine before with older claymore version but now I have to unplug 1 card for it to stay on...I think its the watts, 140watts x 6 = 840 + 200w for the rest of the parts....

Don't know how to under vault, have not really looked into it.

You can use the MSI afterburner to undervolt.

So I can undervolt without changing bios? Thought it was locked.

It is locked by default , but in options menu it can be unlocked

Talking about PSUs . Lets take 1Kwatt PSU with 80 plus gold efficiency.

Does that mean it can output 1kwatt maximum load to peripherals ?  I think sertainly its not good to run it on maximum load, but, in that case I will see something like 1200watt on my kill-a-watt meter at he wall, right ?

And also if I see 1kwatt on my kill-a-watt meter at the wall, that mean that PSU actual load is 1000*0.8=800 watt , and PSU is working in best load condition ?

You really should look at it. I have near the same config. 1000w psu , but celeron with 65w TDP , only SSD and undervolted 6*470s , without undervolting Iv got 1020 watt power draw from the wall. Not good. -100 mv undervolt, 1100 core clock and vualla , 850 watt from the wall. And card has stripted bios. I have 170 H/s ETH or 1800 sols/s Zcash.

Yep I was just reading that most houses here have around 10amp fuses so I should be able to run 2 miners at 1250w max from 1 outlet..

I need to check out the wires though because I am not sure if they can handle it..

Just to clear things up though, If I have 10amp fuses and I put say 5 miners on different sockets around the house that can still affect the house wiring because of the massive load right?

I think in case of using one fuse 10A to protect one room you can hold 2 rigs 1250 W each in this room. 16A fuse - 4000W . But its max load of fuse. A little more and it will go off.

if you have different fuses for each room , you could load each room  accrording to calculation above.

Check the amp rating on the breaker for that socket and also make sure you know what other sockets are on that breaker as well.  All will need to be accounted for when calculating amp load.  Run a Kill-a-watt or similar device on the sockets that are in use so you know how much you are pulling from each socket.  240v has the advantage of lower amperage at the same wattage so you can fit more on the circuit.

Use this to figure out your amperage based on voltage and watts:
http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/Watt_to_Amp_Calculator.htm

Hey guys, how many rigs can I plug into 1 power socket?  I have 220 - 240v outlet.

Each rig has 1000w - 1300w psu.

Do I have to check how many amps the socket is?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I just entered the details in the link you gave me..

Just roughly - 5000w, 240v = 20.83 amps.

So as long as I have 20amps I should be ok?

Also better to use 2 or 3 different outlets around the house to be safe?

Well, i dont think that its only metter of fuses , there is limitation of wires thickness in the walls . You just cant put 50Am fuse and load you outlet with 11-12 Kwatt. Wires will be hot and may damaged. Ive  read on some forums that maximun safe load in that case is 4-5 Kwatt on single outlet, 11Kw - whole apartment

@Claymore

Could you please add an option to Miner Manager to change poll  interval. Id like to tune check interval to bigger value. Thanks

Hi everyone. Could you please tell me can i do more to lower my power consumption ?. I v got 6*rx470 hashing eth only at 170Mhs and 880watt from wall. I d like to lower power consumption even with less hashrate.

Wewisk,deadsix Thank you

Thinking to install powered risers instead of unpowered, now Im not so sure. May be its good enough to use unpowered risers with Zcash mining , coz its less power hugry then ETH mining.....

Hello! Sorry for offtopic question , but what is the advantage of using powered risers ? I was using 1x-1x unpowered risers with H61 BTC PRO ( wich has 2x MOLEX power plugs) for 2 yr. and had no problem with it.

Guys, While mining ethereum, 1 think i do not understand:

I have a Sapphire RX 480 nitro oc+ 1342 MHz.
With original bios, I get about 24.5 MH/s. With timings bios, i get about 28.1 MH/s.
Wenn ich change the mem frequence from 2000 to 2200 MHz, there is no change.. although some guys in forum were getting more than 30+ MH/s.
Any idea why ?

Thank you very much

Thats koz your timing for 2 Ghz and 2.2Ghz are the same, yes , there is diff in speed, but by only freq.  its not noticed. In timing bios environment timings are rulers.

Claymore the dev fee port is wrong for nicehash.com here a screen shot http://imgur.com/a/EMcAR

Probably nicehash changed ports/settings for some reason. I will check it and change ports in next update, it will be available in 2-3 days.

Just noticed about a problem in linux, don't know if was already mentioned, but need to be fixed asap.
I'm getting this error continually and is filling really fast my log folder in /var/log/kern.log specially, also some in syslog

Fixed, will be included in next update.

Do you have an ETA for us?

It will be in 2 to 3 days.

How d'u know ?

again started the miner again and error Angry

Unable to create DAG file is usually related to your virtual memory set too low or inproperly in Windows. Set to 16 GB minimum
I have installed 20 GB

I think you should set exectly vitual memory not RAM to that value.

I have been running v12 + recommended drivers since the middle of last week non-stop on two rigs, not a single crash yet.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://zec.suprnova.cc:2242 -zwal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -zpsw xxxxxxxxxxx -allpools 1 -tstop -95 -i 8

Hi. What is your rig config ?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 17, 2017, 10:02:46 AM
very nice job with V12.
but now 280x with the 3GB can accept only -i5. 290 with 4GB can accept -i6. gpu mem starts to be a bottleneck!

What kind of CPU you have ?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 17, 2017, 05:50:24 AM
Hi ALL!

So, having 4*R9 280X with 8 Gb RAM and 32 Gb Virtual mem. CM 12.0 runs only with -i 2 stable. With -i 3 or -i 4 after ~1 hr. one card hows 0 hash and miner restarts . With default -i ( -i 6) miner writes low virtual mem. and lower intensity to 5 and i get same situation as with -i 3 , -i 4. Only way to run it stable is -i 2 option Huh? My hash rate lower by ~10-15 hashes per card with this intensity. Anyone in this situation ?
