So since FCN is now delisted from poloniex it's time to explore new exchanges. Seems like everybody forgot about this voting https://comkort.com/vote#FCNI think it's more about poloniex than the coin, eg quazarcoin was also delisted but then hitbtc added it now.. so I think it's a question of giving cnote coins publicity in right places which are reliable, that'll help reputation now. not sure if FCN is on the hitbtc voting but could be worth a go! Its just a shame to see technologically strong coins suffer from silly circumstances... Tha's what i still don't understand. Coin is well mantained, has a formed community, and suddenly gets delisted from major exchange. I'm just thinking about Poloniex's following moves. Are they going to replace delisted coins?

Currently MCN is in its very early stages and its rare for such a project to get so much attention so quickly. Given this fact the currency is volatile and the swings can be quick a deep, that being said there is a lot of serious money invested in XMR so you know your not going to buy a shitcoin that goes down to 1% of your investment.

poloniex.com Announcements The following coins will be delisted on August 29th: GIAR, BITS, SHIBE, XLB, DIS, CNL, YIN, YANG, NL, FCN, QCN. Please withdraw your balances of these coins as soon as possible. Time to get rid of it I'm afraid How did that happen?!

Ooohhhh. CPU only. Hey, this isn't 2011 you know. The cpu farms will rape it. You better make it Gpu friendly, or else it will die.
FCN will rape the CPU farms in return. I don't understand why it has to be GPU. CPU works just as good as GPU but besides that it's energy-saving. So why GPU when CPU? I would be happy if we had both. Anyhow, it's up to our devs. Maybe they're already working on it. FCN does not need any changes for now. It was conceived this way and then approved by cryptonoe. https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=172#p525 We believe it to be a promising experiment as both mined currencies are equal for the potential usage. This is a way to test various hypotheses on merged CPU-mined coins.

Developer is crazy about his idea and consults with the community. We all see this.

Yep, absolutely no reason everybody shouldn't be merge mining. There's nothing to lose!
It's NOT split hashrate, if you mine XMR at 500H/s, and if you merged mined you would continue to mine XMR at 500H/s as well as MCN at 500H/s, at the same time, without using additional power.
It's soooo GREEN!
Is the term GREEN COIN a new thing or it was invented at the same time with the merged mining? I highly doubt that someone knew about MCN in early 2011 when MM was invented How lucky we are now not only to know about this coin but to mine it

I lost 5 BTC trading this coin on poloniex, i think for now is a no go area.
How could it happen? I've never lost my money trading MCN.

IMO all cryptonote based coins will have a great future and MonetaVerde is one of them.
All of them? I don't think so. There are a lot of shit forks and coins with bugs. MCN stands out against this background because of the flawless code

Moneta Verbe (MCN) and Bytecoin (BCN), go -go-go!!! You must win!!!

Dear developers, I'm interested in how things developed here because there seems to be not so much hype as there has been before - what are your development plans mid-term in terms of publicity? Very much considering buying in if there's enough energy behind it!

The price will come back. This is a good project, and a good coin.
Absolutely agree. The competition is tough, but we can make it! We need more promotion. Look at Monero, it's literally all over the place now, they're palming it off everywhere!

This coin is too legit. I cant get whyyy its so fucking low in price.
Speaking about legitimacy. I dont understand it either. How come some scamcoins (im not calling names but i hope you guys know what im talking about) make it to the top? Cryptoworld, why you so unfair? I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if i know which scamcoins you’re talking about…

This beta version works pretty fine. No bugs

Guys, what are the advantages of Merge mining besides the obvious?
It depends on what you think is obvious advantages

Only joint efforts we can achieve something truly great!
I had some extra coins that's why I donate again 450k

low volume; low value....only 1 market... the end?
I consider this is the calm before the storm. FCN has enough potential and perspectives

I have 2 questions/points:
1) There has been zero commits to the source code since May. Other CN coins are fixing bugs, Fantomcoin isn't applying those patches, are there no bugs in Fantomcoin? I would think since it forked off the same source code, the same bugs would apply.
2) Bitcoinbear needs to seriously think about setting up a Fantomcoin gateway on NXT Asset Exchange, this will give a marketing edge to the coin (the first CN coin to get there) and now that it started disappearing from centralized exchanges, NXT AE may end up to be the only exchange for it very soon.
I was thinking that there no bugs in Fantomcoin. The system works that's why there is no posts from devs for a long time

I think FCN is an important technical and economic experiment, which was supported by CrytpoNote community

Nice idea I donate 400k to this media fund

Do I understand right? If someone wants to hack Fantomcoin, he needs to attack all CN-based coins (with which it is mined in the blockchains). It increases the Fantomcoin safety.
