Fantomcoin is due to be listed on HitBTC soon, so it will still be on a relatively large exchange.

Goddammit,Poloniex... I'm still sure this is not the end though. As said before, we're moving to HitBTC. Unfortunately FCN will lose a part of its fans but it's ok. We know that our devs are now back, working on FCN improvement. So yeah, i wish FCN a good start on HitBTC.

poloniex.com Announcements The following coins will be delisted on August 29th: GIAR, BITS, SHIBE, XLB, DIS, CNL, YIN, YANG, NL, FCN, QCN. Please withdraw your balances of these coins as soon as possible. Time to get rid of it I'm afraid How did that happen?!

Dev. I'm sure we can handle it

strange behaviour of exchanges, really! you would think poloniex is keeping an eye on where coins are being listed...if i saw hitbtc doing promo to list FCN then i sure wouldn't cut myself out of the game by delisting!

I don't have many FCN, but it's a really strange move by Poloniex.

That's weird, you're right. Anyhow, Fantomcoin is getting another market and will be allright. Let's see what happens next.

I hoping what happens next is important! theres so much talk of altcoins going away for good that someone must inject some kinda momentum somewhere, and why not into cryptonote which has such great foundations! with doge-litecoin merge only happening now for example, cnote coins have been at it for ages as standard! But also of course it seems moneta verde has gone quiet, and ducknote has slowed too...

So here is my question: Im trying to withdraw my FCN from Poloniex. I only withdrawed 1 FCN to test just in case there are problems. I put my address, then click "withdraw FCN". I have waited for 20 min and I see nothing in unlocked balance or anything. How do I know the transfer is in progress? With Bitcoin I just put my wallet address in the blockchain explorer but with this, I have no idea how to check it out. I usually use the blockchain explorer so I dont have to wait for my Bitcoin QT client to download the whole blockchain. I only update the blockchain once a month or so.I dont haev the time to wait for the FCN blockchain to download.
I need to find out if im going to be able to recover my FCN and put it in my wallet, or else i'll be forced to sell since at least I would get some BTC (peanuts but better than something since they said they are delisting it in 29 and it's 30 already, the coins could go down any moment now)

Scroll down to the bottom of the balances window in Polo. You should see a list of deposits and withdraws. If you withdraw was processed it will give you a txid you can use in chainradar.

So since FCN is now delisted from poloniex it's time to explore new exchanges. Seems like everybody forgot about this voting https://comkort.com/vote#FCN

So since FCN is now delisted from poloniex it's time to explore new exchanges. Seems like everybody forgot about this voting https://comkort.com/vote#FCNI think it's more about poloniex than the coin, eg quazarcoin was also delisted but then hitbtc added it now.. so I think it's a question of giving cnote coins publicity in right places which are reliable, that'll help reputation now. not sure if FCN is on the hitbtc voting but could be worth a go! Its just a shame to see technologically strong coins suffer from silly circumstances...

Coin is well mantained, has a formed community, and suddenly gets delisted from major exchange. I'm just thinking about Poloniex's following moves. Are they going to replace delisted coins?
