as we know, maximum stake age had been coded as 10 years in April, 2014

it has passed without changes in Micryon source code

in April, 2014 ( fourteen months ago - an eternity in crypto ) nobody was asking any question about ratio of minimum stake age 2 weeks
to maximum stake age around 520 weeks ( ratio 1:365 )

nowadays, it is absolutely certain that such an ratio is an absurd

whole idea of POS is to suppport a coin network by staking.

accepting 10 years max stake age does not support Asiacoin network at all and it is very bad for Asiacoin network security

nowadays it is widely accepted that this ratio : minimum stake age to maximum stake age should be anywhere between 2 to 10
for network security, and optimum ratio should be 3 to 4 .

changing maximum stake age involves a hard fork of Asiacoin

as to community acceptation of limiting max stake age : we can with big probability assume that staking majority ( around 80% of Asiacoin holders are staking more or less regularly - visible in explorer ) will support limiting max stake age, and not-staking sleeping minority of around 20% would be not satisfied with this change

we would like to ask all holders of Asiacoin to comment here and submit ideas as to proposed option of limiting max stake age by a hard fork

we would suggest optimum max stake age as four times minimum stake age that is 8 weeks.

Still reasonable would be six times minimum stake age that is 12 weeks.
