I've seen your previous anti-Max Keiser posts in the this and the Maxcoin thread. Max has for many years been open about the facts that he was a stand-up comedian and a former stockbroker. The fact that he knows "how business is done" makes him eminently qualified to make the observations that he does. I don't agree with everything Max Keiser says and I was 'stung' by the Maxcoin fiasco. However, imparting pertinent information is one thing, but conducting a virulent hate campaign is another.

If you have information of any wrong-doing, why don't you pass them on to the authorities in the UK? I'm sure that you will find many in the establishment that would only be too keen to extract a thorn from their side.

I have to ask why are you so full of hatred? Are you a bankster, or similar establishment figure with an axe to grind? The sheer hate that you vomit in your posts makes me think that you are.

I can understand the buying and selling to-and-fro. Even short-term speculators have got to make a buck.

Personally, I'm not interested what the price is in the next few hours, days, or even weeks. I'm thinking of where it will be more in terms of months.

Well, I bought 0.4 BTCs worth of Startcoin a couple of weeks ago. If I sold now, I would probably nearly make a 2 BTC profit. $400. A tidy sum, but not a lot really.

I bought in after making an assessment of Startcoin's potential. I came to the conclusion that, for me, it is the only game in town. No other coin is being used by so many. Whole communities are considering adopting it as an actual alternative to fiat e.g. Russell Brand and Hoxton. I know of no other coin that is so advanced in this way. It has influential backers and a massive marketing capability.

I'm not particulary worried where it goes from here. This thread is becoming like a graveyard of lost souls who have sold out and are now chanting a woeful, ghostly chant, apparently in the hope of getting back in at a lower level. Good luck if the cap fits. I'm staying put, calm in the knowledge that I made the right decision.  

Sure. Buying and selling is a fact of life for all coins. However, I have a feeling that we are about to witness something remarkable and I'm not merely talking about the price.

I agree. Max hasn't promoted Startcoin any more than usual. On the whole I think he has been fairly low-key about the recent price rise. A_cat_named_joe was putting the case for another coin, but did a potted review of others. It is about to become big."

I then read about all the other great things going on independent of Max Keiser and knew I had made the right decision. People should be cautious and base any decisions on accurate information, which your post contains.

O.K. I do have an open mind and you do have my ear: What things don't I know? If you have concrete reasons, rather than speculation, please tell me.

I didn't, so please don't take my words out of context and twist them. My personal feeling, based on various statements and non-statements, made me come to the conclusion that Maxcoin was inclining downwardly in a terminal way, just as Quark has been (another coin I liked and invested in). My words were directed to Vlad, who strikes me as being a really decent person. People should come to their own conclusions based on the evidence. I came to mine, acted upon it, and did not regret it.

After that 0.5 BTC sell order goes, there's virtually nothing in the sell wall to stop Startcoin zooming into the stratosphere, where I suppose everyone now expects it will go. I thought some might start to cash in on their good fortune, so that we get more of a jagged sawtooth rise, but ................... hold on to your hats!

Vlad, I think Max Keiser has been pretty clear in his advice to those who follow him on Twitter and RT. For him it is Bitcoin and Startcoin. Do you want him to draw diagrams and come out and say Maxcoin is dead? The Startcoin space rocket is still slowly rising and gathering speed. There's still time to get on board.

I'm so glad I sold all my Maxcoins a week ago and invested the proceeds in Startcoin ... and Startcoin is still gaining in price with plenty to go by the look of it. What happens if critical mass is achieved? Startcoin must be one of the most marketed and recognisable coins in the world by now. I wouldn't be surprised if it moved in on Litecoin and became #2. All this is happening just at the right time.

I sold all my Maxcoin a week ago and invested it in Startcoin. I'm glad that I did. Maxcoin is falling while Startcoin is steadily rising like a rocket in slow motion. I've a feeling Startcoin is going to be the next Litecoin.

As others have pointed out Max Keiser very rarely mentions Maxcoin anymore. Max was the biggest selling point Maxcoin had. It makes good marketing sense just to concentrate on one coin. Startcoin looks clean and so many things are happening with it. I hope I'm wrong for the sake of genuine people still holding, but my gut feeling is that Maxcoin is about to fizzle out just like Quark and Zeta have.

Interesting. Two opposite views throughout. Buy. Sell. Yet all still motivated enough to post here. I think I'll hold on for a while longer. I might as well. If I sold my stash I wouldn't get much for it anyway.

If that is the case, I'm intrigued as to why exactly you would want to do that? Do you think Max wants this coin to disappear, or do you think that he intends to buy back when it bottoms out?

Answer: Anti-Max posts are officially approved by Max to keep the price down and provide volatility. Buying cheaply on the sly? Shame on you!
