Do you want him to draw diagrams and come out and say Maxcoin is dead? The Startcoin space rocket is still slowly rising and gathering speed. There's still time to get on board.

I didn't, so please don't take my words out of context and twist them. My personal feeling, based on various statements and non-statements, made me come to the conclusion that Maxcoin was inclining downwardly in a terminal way, just as Quark has been (another coin I liked and invested in). My words were directed to Vlad, who strikes me as being a really decent person. People should come to their own conclusions based on the evidence. I came to mine, acted upon it, and did not regret it.

But, seriously, some high profile endorsements would be worthwhile.  People like Gerald Celente, Ashton Kutcher, Drew Carey, etc (finding other celebrities that endorse Bitcoin).  Get them on-board by expressing the innovation behind Maxcoin and its advantages over Bitcoin.  For those of you who asking "what are they"... YOU DON'T BELONG HERE! 

I'm still in contact with precious metals dealer and its logistics manager. The suggestion of endorsing Maxcoin has been passed on to their accounting department.  Hopefully this pans out.

I sold all my Maxcoin a week ago and invested it in Startcoin. I'm glad that I did. Maxcoin is falling while Startcoin is steadily rising like a rocket in slow motion. I've a feeling Startcoin is going to be the next Litecoin.

As others have pointed out Max Keiser very rarely mentions Maxcoin anymore. Max was the biggest selling point Maxcoin had. It makes good marketing sense just to concentrate on one coin. Startcoin looks clean and so many things are happening with it. I hope I'm wrong for the sake of genuine people still holding, but my gut feeling is that Maxcoin is about to fizzle out just like Quark and Zeta have.

Shame on you altinvest! I'm not trying to sell anything to anyone. I'm just someone who has had a bad experience with Maxcoin and has seen a better opportunity with Startcoin. I note your smiling face, so I'm taking your comment with good humour.

I have no major problem with Startcoin being 50% pre-mined. The Startcoin people were open about this. The 50% pre-mine means that it will be extremely difficult for any unscrupulous persons to do a 51% attack - possibly learning from the mistakes of Maxcoin which seems to have been quite vulnerable at times, to say the least. It also gives the developers something to work with. People buy and sell. I'm not too focused on the price. The rest of your other post I couldn't quite fathom - it seemed a bit garbled.

It may turn out that Maxcoin could have a resurgence, but somehow, I doubt it. However, I'm intrigued by Vlad2Vlad who seems to be playing his cards very close to his chest.

Startcoin may of had a head start but its use case is completely different than that of maxcoin which is nestling into the precious metals markets. However everyone should keep in mind that THEY too can help out, indeed everyone can help out and in turn help their own investment out. Whether that be from organising and developing infrastructure if you have the skills, spreading the word of maxcoin, or just a simple donation to ongoing bounties (bounty.maxcoin.co.uk). Their is a way for everyone to help out and I encourage everyone to do so and not leave it solely in the hands of current devs. Still, im enjoying these cheep prices for now...

Developing the infrastructure and encouraging use is where most coins fall down. Pretty soon I'm sure there will be a shake-down where only a small number of coins will survive.

Are you proposing the formation of an independent, development group to co-ordinate efforts? Is anybody?

Classic pump and dumps get news, hype and trolls pumping  it.  This was way too quiet.  This was a classic shakeout.  It might go back down and then another shakeout but that's impossible to say.

This was a mass accumulation move.  Depends if the accumulators got what they wanted.
