Speaking about subscription models - I totally agree payment per month is one of the worst ideas, however we still don't see any info about it, it can be something more. Maybe moderator will answer later.
What would you consider a "subscription" model? As it was said above it would be great to get acceess to mining for at least 6 months up to 2 years, maybe. Maybe some voting can be informative - I can't say for everyone.

Hello everybody. I had a question. If, say, I'm an artist. Will I be able to sell my work in the Codex?
If am I an not mistaken you can add your artworks in the catalogue and archieve them, so I suppose yes, you'll be able to become a merchant. I understand that, yes. But why then will my work be evaluated by some unknown person? If I respect my work, I may not like the price that will be given to my work Although I am investor, not an artist, your question is very interesting for me. Do you think some users can establish too low prices for your items? It would be unfair! Just imagine how many inverstors will become artists and vice versa Such transformation of users would be one of the coolest Codex achievements, wouldn't it? Haha nice assumption! I guess it would be win-win (for users, for market and for platform) if some users will become universal specialists from artists to investors and so on

By the way, if the trade in goods looks like an auction, then sellers will be able to deliberately bet on their own goods in order to fill their prices ... It's interesting, is not it? And also it is suspicious... hmmm... If understood you correctly... developers will make everything as transparent and fair as possible to create a huge friendly community, so I think there will be no suspicious. activities available.

Speaking about things spoken above I suppose we should ask artists and listen to them. I hope Codex will discuss it with both parties of art market: artists and collectors.
A very wise advise! As for me speaking with all of potential Codex users would be the most useful thing team can do now. Do you interact with them online and on events, guys?

Thank Devs for doing this project!!! But here some questions: What's max sum of investment? How you protect intellectual property?
Hi there, with regards to investment size, please view the token details here: https://www.codexprotocol.com/token-sale.htmlWith regards to protecting intellectual property, Mark Lurie recently added this in the AMA Secrecy and confidentiality are indeed important in the art world.
I don't think blockchain will change this.
I think that people should be entitled to share what they want and be private about what they want. In Codex, users control the privacy of their data. That's one of the greatest benefits of the blockchain.
Blockchain also ensures that the source of any information they do share is verified. https://t.me/codexprotocol Join the team on telegram I disagree with the statement blockchain can't change anything compared with intellectual prorepty, moreover I would be happy to see some projects like yours (you Codex on its own) in cooperation with some company that works in this area. Do you think this issues will take place in here? I don't think so... however every artsist wants to see his intellectual property is safe enough...

What features of Cryptex you offer are the most powerful for protecting blockchain? In simple language, please.
I hope there will be no issues because of every user uses different app? Will there be any limitations at will of your partners in these apps?
Just to be clear - why should I invest in your project? What advantadges can you offer to me? I mean what is ther features for investors who want get profits, but who are not interested in your services?
For example you can own shares and sell them, you can get rewards via contributing and provenance info... check the wp.

I got a really interesting question. Is it possible that Codex will collaborate will some charity projects? I guess it would be very nice and profitable too!
So users will be able to transfer any currencies (from fiat to crypto), right? Did you start interacting with banks in different countries? I guess such process will take much time.
Can anyone tell me please what is the minimum price for items on the platform? Are there any limits?
I guess there will be no sych limits, why? If I wanna sell something for 5 $, why not? It's easier to sell something cheap than something unreal expensive.

Hello everybody! Great News The Codex Mainnet Launch: What to Expect Codex will launch to the Ethereum Mainnet by July 23rd, 2018, Midnight (CST) "The Mainnet launch of the protocol is a huge achievement for Codex, but it’s just the beginning of the journey. Right now the app ecosystem is sparse, using the protocol requires proficiency in blockchain technology, and there aren’t a lot of entities accepting Codex Records today." The first edition has been made public here: https://codex-viewer.com/#/record/0More information read on Official Blog: https://medium.com/codexprotocol/codex-mainnet-launch-what-to-expect-5eb032e7d2a Congratulation to the team! I love that exiting moment when I see a project is growing right in front of my eyes. Best wishes to you. I endorse the words of congrats! Can't wait to see more amazing items on the platform.

I see questions above about team's inspiration. I suppose they see how perspective art market is and they respect artists and artworks! That's enough for me.

I have some stupid questions now, be carefully😅 How can I get tokens? I must buy it, right? And if so, is the payment going through a certain program? Where can I find it?
Hi there, you will need a few things. Goto https://www.codexprotocol.com/token-sale.html and sign up for the sale day 2, which will be held on 25th July Pass through KYC. You will need to provide ID and proof of address You will need Ethereum or ETH to contribute and an ERC-20 compatible wallet. If you need help with any of this talk to a member of the support team on telegram here: https://t.me/codexprotocolGood explanation, it was helpful for me too! Tell me please how much time will KYC check take? Actually I don't know how it works

Speaking about protection from fraud - I guess raitings couldbe very useful. Just like internet shopping - you can give 1 or 5 stars to the merchant after the deal.

One question about auction system. Hom much automatised is it? For example I would like to be a merchant and sell my items. Can I add them on the platform, fill all needed forms and just go away while the auction system works on its own and I just get money?
Sounds good. Personally I wouldn't like to moderate auction process (is it possible however?), I just want to sell and purchase goods and make money as easy as possible. I guess it will be very easy to do (hope so). Also interesting point is claims. What if someone bought an bad item? Not fake, but just damager or something like that. Will the platform join a dispute? Codex itself won't be responsible for managing disputes. As you probably know, you can add photos to records. Adding clear photo's of all angles should combat this (including support by validators doing what they do best). However, (future) 3rd-party companies whom have integrated the protocol might handle disputes according to their own terms. Regarding existing partnered platforms, it is worth checking out who's who on the main website and then follow their links to lookup their terms related to disputes oh, really? I expected than it will (as a kind of mediator)... interesting information! In my opinion there should be some disputing system in the future.
