61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 23, 2017, 07:15:05 PM
It seems I wont ever get to sleep for more than 3 hours at a time...

KMD network is processing some killer messages and nodes are being killed. This sounds somewhat familiar. We are investigating.

Also, the recent attacker has constructed a problematic transaction, which might have caused a fork at 247204. First step is to stop the killer message, but best to assume chain is stopped at 247204

Thanks a lot James!

Obviously, someone who knows quite a lot about blockchains and blockchain coding is doing their best to bring down your stuff - and failing badly  Cheesy
I wonder how that is paying off for the loser  Grin

Rollback is crypto suicide though, even one block, the precedent can never be removed.

Do a deal, the hacker found a bug, he deserves a bounty, otherwise we all lose everything. Ko odo will never rea h potential if immutability is lost today.

this is not a ROLLback per se, this is an attacker CAUGHT IN THE ACT and the loot ripped off his back as he is trying to escape ...
apart from being a malicious attack, the bug is the same as the bitcoin bug way back then

can you maybe post some screenshots with graphs? would be heartwarming!

Yes, I'm familiar with the jl777 world salad, thanks.

(Re)registering Pangeapoker's domain name and sending out an occasional I'm alive ping tweet shouldn't be too hard for a "most professional and cool headed dev" who is "even willing to put his own money and time to take over others projects."

Unless he is stretched too thin trying to juggle too many overambitious scope-creeping projects at once, which is exactly what's happening.

poor deranged wannabe crusader. you could win a ticket in the presidential suite on the QM2 and still complain that the bathroom fixtures are only gilded, and not made out of solid gold.
except you are not part of the Komodo Crew anyway, so good riddance to you.

what you are doing is called 'moving the goalposts' and it is a dishonest, small minded and mean spirited thing to do:
refuse to acknowldge what has already been created, and always throw hysterical fits about the (diminishing) parts that are yet unfinished.

very transparent, you demented troll. why don't you go and scour the dregs of cryptsys remains some more? YUMMIE!
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: March 12, 2017, 08:28:29 AM

Hey dick smack. If you invested so much money that you need constant updates, maybe you should have joined the slack channel. People stay away from BCT because of retarded toxic posts like yours.

What he posted was a very differentiated and well argued opinion, and it was very positive towards Sasha and the whole WAVES project, besides some harsh critizism regarding the management of certain aspects.

Agree or disagree, but this was not retarded and toxic in any way.
In fact it is your vacuous reply that is retarded and toxic.

meh - i am not into that tried that with bitcoin from source and got a really frustrating experince because I couldn't compile it- gave up after spent a lot of time on it-
don't want that again.
at least bitcoin has an executable. So I tried running the Fibre-qt from FibreOS on my ubuntu 15.04 but I got some error messages of some missing libs so this is not so good either
so I have to run windoes or FibreOS, and I don't want to run windows only for a coin.

before I dedicate a machine extra for FibreOS maybe some of you guys can give me a hint: I want to use fibredark and in the directory on FibreOS it says fibredark, but the wallt is Fibre-qt

what's the deal with that? fibredark sounds really interesting but these different verions confuse the shit out of me.

There were two separate wallets earlier - with and without tor connections

FibreOS was released before Hybrid Tor Wallet 3.2 version(which includes both options with switch inside one wallet)

The wallet inside FibreOS includes FibreDark(tor connections) you can check it by going to console and using getpeerinfo

BTW when screensaver surprises you the password is Fibreos

You can also run FibreOS in kvm on your machine (it is portable os, your wallet is safe at shutdown, just rename iso to img if kvm needs it)

ooomph- so which one would be Hybrid Tor wallet 3.2? Fibre-qt for windows? I do have a windows 7 machine in the house but I rarely use it and I'd like to do without it, but there always are a few things where no linux solution exists, so maybe I'll try that.

And what different features are in Blitz versus Fibre? I could even start with some Fibre and some Blitz to see which one is more profitbale, but what are the different features in the two?

so how are Fibre and Blitz networks different?
will it be better to start with 15k Fibre or 30k Blitz to run a node?

which one will be more profitable?

60% of 40% of all platform revenues will be shared equally between node holders

At the moment Blitz node is cheaper but 15k Fibre requirement was the only one acceptable to enable Fibre holders to get any revenues from the platform and not reduce revenues for core Blitz investors

Cheers
my guess is i will need a static ip. Will i be able to run it on a windows machine or will I need something else?

but why a static ip?

meh. I am running linux- I sort of don't wnat to use windows for that... I am reluctant to get into bitching with compiling and isntalling missing libs - can I just copy the executable form FibreOS and run it on my regular system?

oh well I just try that but the version are a bit confusing...

If you need any help compiling a wallet from source please pm @Killakem or @mammix2

please forgive for not reading 200 pages of thread, so-

is it 'launched' yet?

how is 'mining period' defined?

does the beta include the 'mining' period of 6 months?

when will it be on an exchange?
