61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: May 25, 2024, 05:48:25 PM
Lately, I have started day streaming as a sponsored gambler on one of the casinos I use to be a tester there, I chose one of the known platforms to start my stream, bought the gadgets I need even though Unfortunately I live in a country where the internet speed is limited, the quality of my stream isn’t as good as other popular streamers, however, I have got much support from the community and viewers, had fun and good slot hits.
For now my experience is pretty good for now, but I certainly need some advices from you to upgrade my channel, community, and how to grow and to the next step.
You would have more people visit your channel if you produced quality videos. So I suggest you invest more in equipment and also upgrade your skills. You also need to be creative and innovative so that your audience will not be bored. Ensure you add varieties or spices to your streaming episode so that it will be entertaining. You could also promote your platform through diverse means you can.

Do you think it is a bad thing to do, promoting gambling?
It depends on your belief or perception of the activity. Some persons might not engage in such because the content can be viewed by underaged gamblers, which is not ideal. Some people might also think that it will give rise to gambling addiction. But I also suggest that you use your platform to discourage underage gambling and gambling addiction.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Converting bitcoin to fiat without problems on: May 25, 2024, 05:20:44 PM
Hello,friends
The question is more for those who once converted a lot of bitcoins into fiat to their bank accounts
How did you do it so that the tax authorities and the bank manager would not question where the money came from?
The thing is that many years ago i bought my bitcoins from a person in cash and he transferred them to me in my presence
How can i make sure that this money is transferred to my bank card without any problems?

-Regards
It will mainly depend on the crypto laws of your country. Some countries have laws that mandate you to state the source of your income and also pay tax from it. Other countries may not ask where the funds come from but you need to pay tax for it. While other nations are tax-free when it comes to income from crypto. In my country, the government will be asked for the source of the money if it is above $10,000. So dividing the money into lesser funds while exchanging it will make you escape such scrutiny.

When it comes to tax, it will depend on the platform you use to exchange your Bitcoin. If you use a well-established centralized exchange, you may be subjected to tax because they will report your transactions to the government. But if you use a decentralized exchange or through physical P2P like when you bought it, you may avoid tax. But if you are legally mandated to pay tax, there is no need to avoid it. Taxes are an important source of revenue for the government, and without them, basic amenities might not be provided or maintained.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge about risks and their types. on: May 24, 2024, 05:21:03 PM
I totally agree with your explanation of information, especially it will be very useful for newbies who don't know much about risk. It will be very helpful and useful for newbies. To get anything good we need to manage the risks that come our way, and for that we need to know and understand the risks well. This is a help post, so I think it should be in the Beginners & Help thread.

You are right, as it will also help them to be determined or dedicated to work  and also make them to be strong, so without risks in anything we do, I don't think it will be achieve because I have come to understand that nothing beneficial comes with easy way and we can't be successful without going through process or risks and that is why we should also have the knowledge or idea to manage anytime we encounter those risks and know what to do in order to not a victim of circumstances and never forget to always seek help or support from those who are already ahead of us to gain more knowledge.
We live in a world that is unpredictable this is why we need to calculate and make plans for the future. But the first thing people should do is to have a sound knowledge about the business or investment they want to embark on. Many people will just calculate how much profit they will make from the business but they fail to understand that it might not be an easy run. There are challenges to overcome and risks to control. This is why I find this thread insightful. It should be a reminder that we should be prepared for uncertainties.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 24, 2024, 04:54:14 PM
The gambling industry just offers entertainment and satisfaction to the players now it's up to the players if they get addicted in playing and lose a lot of money because that's how gambling works, the casino offers a chance of winnings too but a small percentage of players of course its their business. In terms of society, they are acting one of the businesses so they need to pay taxes too and because of the number of earnings they have the larger the tax they need to pay and what most taxes will go of course to the development of the community.
Every activity has advantages and disadvantages. And the defects come up when such activity is misused. So my point is that too much of everything brings abuse which becomes a problem.

Gambling itself is not bad to the society but gambling addiction is the main problem. Gambling companies contribute immensely to the economic development of the country through tax and other social corporate responsibility. Gambling has made people rich, and it has also helped people to achieve some level of financial freedom. But if it is misused it could lead to financial and other problems.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cøbra announces Bitcoin Core can now be downloaded in the UK on: May 24, 2024, 04:23:39 PM
What a good day 🎉. Faketoshi thinks he could fool us in the first place. Such a great loss for him  Grin

The lair just got his ass whipped by the court. I hope this judgment will end his madness and silence him for life. Maybe his sponsors will look for other means to continue with this clueless litigation. When I read the news that the downloading of Bitcoin white paper have been blocked in the UK due to litigations, I thought it was a calculated effort by the government to attack Bitcoin. But this current judgment is a glimpse that the judiciary is really independent. The judgment is a big win for the Bitcoin community.

If it were possible for Cobra to have representation while remaining anonymous, I believe that is what would've happened when the original lawsuit against him was brought. The judgement against him is a default judgement because he refused to defend since doing so would reveal his identity.
It is against the ethics of the legal profession to represent an anonymous client. If the name Cobra is a group of people or a registered organisation, then it can be represented by a member or one of the directors.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please stop gambling but instead use UMG so you can Gamble + Trade at same time on: May 23, 2024, 02:37:08 PM
The system is only extremely lucrative for smart users. I have designed it for smart users as well. Along with allowing everyone equal opportunities, fair opportunities, stop with this scam narrative...

It leads no where.
I have read all through this thread and some parts of your ANN thread and I didn't see any member who spoke well about your services. Most of them keep complaining about the operations of your platform. I suggest you take another look at UMG and see why members are not supporting it. There is a proverb in my tribe that states that you don't spend so much time and energy to market a good product. People freely accept it because it has some benefits or is better than others. You are spending so much time promoting a faculty project instead of putting the same energy into making it more acceptable.
67  Economy / Reputation / Re: Charles-Tim reported posts on: May 23, 2024, 02:22:28 PM
After 600 (not sure the number) reported posts you get that button "report history".
You get to see your report history after 300 good reports. Not just reported posts, you need to get at least 300 reports marked good.

- Jay -

I would like to add that if a user has 25 or more reports, the good/bad/unhandled reports indicator is activated.
Thanks for the update, I can't wait to activate this option. I am just few reports aways to activate this indicator.

70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | SFs on: May 22, 2024, 09:03:52 PM
51 games without defeat for Levekusen is about to end tonight against Atalanta with 2-0 in first half. I also don't think Leverkusen will have the necessary resources to comeback in 2nd half and score 2 goals but I do see them scoring once. However ,if a miracle happens again for them , I think they will be one of the most luckiest teams in football history to always comeback game after game and if you don't believe in magic , you should if this happens  Grin Grin
Lookman just made it 3-0, the unbeatable record has come to an end for Bayern 04 Leverkusen, Atalanta had already don the damage by scoring that initial 2-0, so even when Leverkusen tried to fight back in this second half, yet it's not looking like is going to yield any results, because the initial start of the second half they where really  trying to put some pressure on Atalanta, but the Atalanta defence has been strong like the wall of Gibraltar. They deserve the trophy, they've shown consistency and they've been incredible with their performance, so they deserve the win. congratulations to Atalanta the champions of Europa league.
After the African Cup of Nations where Ademola Lookman put up a classy performance, I never heard much about him anymore. Today he has emerged as the hero of Atalanta and a curse to Bayer Leverkusen. His three goals were so wonderful that Bayer's goalkeeper had no chance to save them. The wonderful season that Bayer had enjoyed before now has been dashed by the Nigerian. Xabi Alonso knows that it is all over and he should focus on winning a second trophy through the German Cup. Congratulations to Atalanta because many people including me predicted that they would never win this game.

73  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I don't hold BTC for ATH on: May 21, 2024, 06:09:41 AM
I don't hold btc BTC for ATH I just hold it as a wealth and true decentralized blockchian platform,
Nothings happen if btc bull run coming or not, Because I always believe that btc is a digital wealth and public power decentralized system ATH or Bull run is not important for me.

And many of them The only person I have heard who said he is not moved by the price of Bitcoin because he is not willing to sell is the President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele. It is good to know that you have a very long-term plan for your Bitcoin holding but many people might not be able to hold like you. People use Bitcoin as a means to make a profit after investing for some years. Only a few people are concerned about their privacy use because of its decentralized nature.

The bull run have attracted so many people to the industry. Many of them are targeting to sell at the ATH but they fail to understand that it is not predictable. The ATH is usually known after the bull run, so the best decision is to have your predictions.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 21, 2024, 05:19:45 AM
Allegri should have been fired from Juventus a long time ago, especially after Agnelli left. And Juventus are waiting for the moment when they are not to blame for Allegri's dismissal. Now that the coveted spot in the UCL League has been obtained, the Copa Italia Trophy has also been obtained to satisfy Juventus fans. And "coincidentally" Allegri also acted up, so there was a reason for Juventus to fire him.
The management of Juventus are experienced and understanding people. It would be inhuman to sack a coach who stayed with the club all through its point-reduction problems. Allegri hasld some good offers from some clubs both in Europe and Saudi Arabia but he decided to take the risk with Juventus. The club had to give him some time to improve the club's performance. Since he couldn't, it is obvious that he doesn't deserve to remain in the club.

Quote
Many Juventus fans have disliked him since he returned to Juventus. Now is the time for Juventus to change coaches so that there will be a change in the Juventus Team's playing strategy. because when Juventus was coached by Allegri, their playing style was monotonous, the strategy that Allegri implemented didn't really need attacking type players, only strong defensive type players were enough, that's why sharp stickers couldn't develop at Juventus while being coached by Allegri. I hope the next coach can bring glory starting by reviving Lo Spirito, so that next season Serie A will be even more competitive.
Juventus is a club that has a renowned history. It is always competitive in both the local league and the Champions League. So it is normal for the fans to be concerned about the recent poor performance. Allegri couldn't give them what they wanted which was trophies and glory. Some good coaches are in the market currently and I hope they will take their time to search and get a suitable coach for the club.

We need law and order back look whats going on with our beatuful cities Sad
I went in Canada Im so happpy that people fear police there nobody don't ever think about silly actions.
All the world Police should see Canada police as example.
I don't agree that someone get robbed on the street mobile phones or robbed in the middle of day light.
We need armed forces on the street and If anyone do Even one silly move their hands will be braked and police dogs will haunt them down Smiley
One of the main reasons for the increase in crime is poverty. So the government should target poverty before sending police to the streets. In my country we have more police securing fewer politicians while citizens are left without protection. So the government should also tackle corruption in the security system.

Quote
Those guys who do bigger crimes not problem they behave Nice and well mannered and behave nice Im not talking them Im talking about silly people who disturb others with their small silly crimes.
We need goverment power to make law and order
Crime is crime no matter the type or who is committing it. It is the big thieves that contribute to the increase in minor crimes. Politicians who steal government funds are the reason for the increase in criminal activities on the streets. All criminals should be held responsible for their crimes.
77  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will the CZ event affect the price of BNB? on: May 20, 2024, 04:51:17 PM
As Upgrade00 mentioned, CZ was only sentenced to 4 months in prison and he is serving it, and so far, you can also feel things for yourself about BNB or Binance. There doesn't seem to be any serious effects or troubles happening to them.
Before the sentence, the price of BNB dropped slightly. But it immediately recovered from $556.20 to $570.60 after the sentence. Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has already stepped down as the CEO and four months is not a long time to affect the company immensely. He was just lucky to have just a few month's sentence because such a crime could lead to as much as 10 years in prison.

Quote
But if you are investing in BNB then you need to know that BNB as well as other altcoins like Solana, Ada...any altcoin, they will have risks and there are many risks that need to be considered, not just their creator. Even if they are still run and led by CZ, there is no 100% guarantee that BNB or Binance will not encounter any problems. The cryptocurrency market has many potential risks that we can never predict, so always have a suitable investment plan for any coins.
A lot of people have so much confidence in Binance. Some people believe that the company is founded on a solid financial foundation that will make bankruptcy difficult. However, they should be aware that no centralized platform is trustworthy. They can easily be attacked by the government or can be mismanaged.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Os boxing the worst sport to get on? on: May 20, 2024, 04:36:56 PM
You can read a relevant article about the Olympic news here: https://www.kompas.id/baca/english/2024/04/04/en-tinju-terancam-didepak-dari-olimpiade
The article raised the issue of air pollution during boxing fights. It is usual to see boxing fans crowded in sporting centres to watch these boxing fights. I think the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is concerned with the health of the people. Corruption has always been part of sports but I suspect that it is very pronounced in individual competitions like boxing. These boxers can easily compromise their integrity if they are offered more money.

There is also a high rate of corruption and racism in the officiating circle. How on earth will Francis Ngannou lose to Tyson Fury? It was clear that the Cameroonian deserved to win the game but he was denied because of corruption and some level of sectionalism.

I prefer to bet on games that cannot be easily manipulated. Football in reputable leagues is always my first choice.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 20, 2024, 04:18:20 PM
I just want to know, How have jackpot stories affected your gambling routine?

Have you ever increased the amount you normally used in betting just because someone you know won big by betting with a greater amount?
These stories about big wins can serve as a motivation to keep gambling because you believe that it will be your turn one day. I have not just read about these stories but have seen how gambling turned the lives of many people. But these wins are rare so there is no need to allow these stories to affect your gambling activities.

Gambling wins basically come through skills or luck. I have been tempted to increase my bets when someone gives me some games and assures me that they will play. But it turned out to be a fake game and since then I have always stuck to my gambling budget. These stories will never motivate me to increase my bet because I know that gambling is unpredictable.
80  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Everybody think different things about world and life but this is what i see on: May 20, 2024, 10:53:25 AM
OP you are correct that sanctions for criminal offenses are becoming more lenient. Most countries have abolished the death sentence penalty and replaced it with a life sentence. However, some nations have not changed their legal system to correspond with the present order. Some nations still have the death penalty in place and are not even willing to change it.

I also agree that in the future the crypto space will be highly regulated that it will be illegal to come up with these worthless shitcoins. Standards will be set to purge the sector from these pump-and-dump shitcoins.

The world has experienced radical improvements in technology that have made tasks easier and faster. But these advancements have not led to a reduction in poverty rather it is increased the gap between the poor and the rich. Since I was born I have had my elders talk about the good old days and have also learned from experience that the past has been always better than the present. So I doubt if the future will be bright as OP is indicating.
