The world is like calculated chess game for many political leaders.
Someone who did this and attacked nordstream pipe in europe Undersea knew that with this action world will blame on it who got most reasons to do this.
Immediately many people tought that was done by usa or ukraine...so that was reason to do this.
And who wanted to world belive that usa or ukraine did this? Mostly the USA to undermine USA and Biden administration ...? So If we think like this it's not difficult to know anynore who had biggest motive and reason to make world blame USA or ukraine for this.

Sometimes to be too smart and good chess player making your stradegy visible.

It is likely we will never know for sure who was behind it. Diplomats and politicians from all around the world initially blamed Ukraine and the United States because they are the most obvious party which would have benefited from having the Nordstream project getting completely destroyed and halted.
In the eyes of Russia, it was convenient for them to keep the project standing as long as possible, because it helped to keep Europe (specially Germany) dependent of their gas, so I could almost completely rule out Russia being the actual author of the attack on that important piece of infrastructure.
There are some people who even speculate Israel could have done all the planning and carry out the operation, but I doubt it.

I am not an expert at geopolitics, but if I had to guess I would say Ukraine is the country that had the most to win from the destruction of that pipeline.
If they did it, it was probably without giving any notice in before to their allies in the west. It would explain by there is no official report released on what happened: It would be painful for the western powers to admit Ukraine did something as reckless as that.

Just speculation from me, though. I know nothing.

There are some fact that point to Ukrainians. A yacht that belonged to a Ukrainian travel agency that was most likely established by Ukrainian intelligence years before the war. The company was registered in Poland, but according to sources there was never any business conducted there and the owners did not appear or work on site. They just kept the company registered and paid rent (the owner is a Ukrainian woman living in Kiev). The yacht was rented from them by o  group of 6 people, most likely professional divers who planted the explosives. The boat was later found and there were traces of explosives discovered on it. One of the people who rented the boat used a fake Romanian passport. According to the Germans, that person is now serving in Ukrainian military and cannot be questioned.

The United States government had the most to gain from destroying Nordstream.  The Obama administration opened up Ukrainian energy for American investors and Biden had ties with those same energy companies.  Hurting Russia's ability to sell gas to Germany was the main purpose behind it.  The pipeline wasn't even complete, so Russia wasn't benefiting from it yet, but they didn't want the Russians getting it operational before Ukraine could get in on the action.

I don't think the US planted the explosives, they probably used their Polish and Ukrainian patsies for that.  But I have no doubt that the operation was orchestrated by the CIA.

The German government has issued an arrest warrant for some Ukrainians in connection to the sabotage of Nord Stream. One of these suspects was named Volodymyr Z, and two others who are all experienced Ukrainian divers. It was revealed that Volodymyr Z hired a yacht in September 2022, and he was traced to the Baltic Sea. Investigations are still ongoing, but it seems that the main suspect has moved from his last residence in Warsaw, Poland, to Ukraine. From this current revelation, there is a high chance that Ukraine was behind the bombing.

Vladimir Zelensky approved a Ukrainian plan to sabotage the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, before trying to call off the operation under US pressure, but it was too late to do so, the Wall Street Journal has reported, citing people allegedly involved in the plot.

The energy infrastructure, built to deliver Russian gas to Germany and the rest of Europe, was ruptured by blasts under the Baltic Sea in September 2022.

Early the following year, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh reported that explosives were planted on the Nord Stream pipelines by US Navy divers under the cover of a NATO exercise, and detonated on orders from US President Joe Biden. Top officials in Moscow, including President Vladimir Putin, have also pointed the finger at Washington, arguing that it stood to gain the most from the disruption of Russian gas supplies to the EU.

In its article on Wednesday, the WSJ pointed to another version of events, according to which the pipelines were targeted by the Ukrainians. It was first reported by the Western media shortly after the publication of Hersh’s article.

According to the outlet’s sources, the idea of blowing up Nord Stream was conceived by “a handful of senior Ukrainian military officers and businessmen” as they gathered for drinks in May 2022, a few months after the outbreak of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. The plotters believed that it would reduce Russia’s energy revenues and make the EU less dependent on Moscow.

It's ridiculous how the EU and NATO try to paint Russia as the terrorist when it was the Ukraine that plunged us into some of our harshest winters ever. As if facing the pandemic wasn't enough, in 2022 Zelensly had to give an order to blow up Europe's largest and most reliable energy supplying pipeline. And with just a couple of explosions, there goes a billion dollar infrastructure project that would have normally been set for supplying much of Europe's energy for the coming decades. This was criminal. It was terrorism! And including every characterization politicians had given to this attack early on. Now they've all shut up about it as the evidence showed it was undoubtedly Ukraine.

Makes you think how sad the state of affairs is. The media is controlled by a handful of billionaires and our politicians are completely bowing to them.
And I'm not saying that Putin is a good guy. But this goes very much beyond Putin. It's something that has made us in Europe have one of the worst energy crises we've had in a very long time. Contributed to everything becoming more expensive and made our lives worse in a very tangible way. We would all have been better off if Ukraine had been forced to accept a diplomatic peace solution other than being supplied enough arms to murder Russian civilians within Russia like they do now in Kursk.

Now the replacements for Europe's energy mix are even more dictactorial than Russia. Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and even black market Iran oil and gas. It's a crazy situation. Even strategically the US and EU are hurting themselves in the long term and short term. But our politicians are ready to eat it all up so long as their cronies are becoming richer.

Us meaning who? The Germans? The pipeline was intentionally made to cut off the Baltic States and Poland, so that Russia could use gas as leverage. The affected countries had protested against this but Germans did not care and helped Russia in their efforts because it was good business for them. Because of Nordstream Germany initially was blocking aid from the UK and not allowing it to go to Ukraine and later when everybody was sending aid they sent some old helmets.
Germany cares only about Germany, not Europe, not the European Union and certainly not about Ukraine and people who blew the gas line took advantage of that fact.

Not Europe's! Western Europe's. Was the Winter harsh at your place? I burned some wood in my fireplace and slept like a baby. Maybe you should stop relying on Putin's gas so much and tell Germans to stop turning off their nuclear reactors, or they'll freeze. At least they'll be eco friendly before they die.

There is, for now insufficient evidence that could establish any link to Ukraine beyond any reasonable doubt. Even if the owner of a ship is Ukrainian or Polish and if they where around the area, there needs to be a traceable economic trail of cash or payments from the Ukrainian Goverment, or the Ruzzian government... or even the Polish to establish such a link.

As far as we know for now, this could have even been the US. Ruzzia has certainly committed several hybrid war attacks in Germany, even threats against executives of the arms manufacturers.
