I don’t see how that is a wrong move, being the best doesn’t last forever and at some point a player would have to leave a team and if you look at his age you will know that it’s time to join the Saudi league. He is 31 and will soon be 32 so i think it’s high time Liverpool go out annd look for a younger goalkeeper just as they did with other positions. This is the perfect time for him to make a move to Saudi Arabia league and earn more money for his family since he has limited years to spend.

I don’t think so too, i would even say it was the best thing to do because there was no impact on the team until towards the end of the season and he doesn’t seem to suit what the owners want to build. They want to build a team similar to Arteta’s and what Pochettino was building is far different from that. There is no guarantee that pochettino will do well next season and make top 4 but at least the new coach is an ambitious coach known for having good relationship with young players and the players Chelsea are busy buying are all young players with prospect.

The moderator have done an excellent job and all irrelevant posts are being moved to where they belong.

This community have produced resourceful members in the forum and the contribution of the the Nigerian members was reason enough for the administrators to provide for us our own local. Losing Mbappe shouldn’t be a thing to worry about because they will still easily dominate the Ligue 1 with the available players but the Champions League is something they can’t compete for at the moment. It looks as if they are cursed from winning the champions league because despite having Messi, Neymar and Mbappe they were still unable to win it. Napoli may not be as rich as other clubs but they are quite capable of covering the fees to employ Conte. Conte parted ways with Tottenham in march 2023 after he led them to another champions league qualification but maybe the team was not satisfied with the result. He has had an experience in the Italian league after winning the title with Inter Milan so it was a nice decision for Napoli to appoint him after struggling throughout this season.

They will definitely give a new contract soon i know they are preparing the documents for that and when the time is right it will happen. Some things cannot be rushed especially when it’s about preparing contracts so they need time to plan it out perfectly to avoid any mistakes. No team will allow such a coach leave after having a wonderful season.

Everything is down to the mismanagement of the resources and it’s all as a result of bad governance. The level of hunger in the country is getting high and worse every year and it seems to be getting worse with every new leader elected. Now most households have now settled for two square meals per day and some even struggling to get one meal a day but the leaders are not concerned about this, they seem to be more concerned about changing the country’s national anthem instead of solving more serious problems.

The cause of all the suffering and hunger the people of the country are facing is bad governance, greediness of the people in power and corruption. Any government that doesn’t prioritize the people’s needs over their own personal interests will end up mismanaging the country’s resources.

In Chelsea i don’t think its about where they finish rather about winning trophies and instilling a good play in the team. If the overall performance is good then the owners will believe the project is promising and can deliver in a few years. With Pochettino performance this season i don’t think the team looks ready to challenge for the title that why they replaced him.

In Ten Hav situation, if he were to be Chelsea’s coach he will definitely be sacked despite winning the FA cup because the team doesn’t look ready at all and it’s almost as if he is not teaching the players anything or has a specific style of play at all. Pochettino was even better and he got sacked so if Ten Hag was to be a Chelsea coach he would have been sacked mid season.

The loss yesterday was on the attackers in my opinion because they could have changed the entire outcome of the game if they didn’t fail to score.

With the latest signing of Mbappe they will be unstoppable next season and i don’t see them not winning the champions league again next season. Just imagine the level they will be at if Mbappe plays alongside Vinicius and Bellingham, they will be unstoppable. No team would let such coach go after such a successful season leading the team to multiple titles and finals and making the team expendable in the Saudi league. Both teams are enjoying each other’s company and it’s best to extend the coach’s contract to spend more time at the club. No team came close to Al Hilal in terms of performance last season and they deserved to win the league after such a wonderful performance.

You have a point Manchester United and Chelsea are far behind compared to how they were few years back. Chelsea have shown some sign of improvement towards the end of the past season and if not because they Sacked Pochettino Chelsea should be able to challenge for the title as well because they have been gaining back confidence and their balance.

Next season the competition might not be as exciting because even if  Arsenal still try to win the title we all know they won’t be able to win it unless Guardiola leaves Manchester City. Manchester City might see less competition because Kloop have left Liverpool and they’d probably lose more players and it might take time for the new coach to adapt to the league and the players.
