Manchester United ending the league with 8th position does not mean Eric ten Hag is not a good coach. Sometimes when a team ends up with poor position it is not always the fault of the coach . I also confirm that each coach will have way of working as playing strategist and the composition of the line-up that is considered the best, moreover every new coach will definitely make changes by changing most of the existing players, this will become complicated problem if it continues to happen.

One of the reason why Chelsea has decide to hire Enzo Maresca is because he is the former of Guardiola assistant so they thought Maresca will have same football philosophy to Guardiola which very likes to playing attacking and very entertaining so Chelsea was very sure Maresca will be able to bringing this team to playing at Champion League again however some people said sacking Mauricio Pochettino and replace him to Maresca is risky decision because Maresca is lack of experience to train big team besides that the rumours is some of Chelsea players doesn't like with Chelsea owner decision too because they still support Pochettino

That's true, but in the last few seasons the Manchester United team has slumped so it takes time to process improving this team's performance, nothing is instant.

I think that Chelsea expected a victory from City in the final, this would have given them a place in the EL and perhaps Pochettino’s further fate at Chelsea would have been different, but perhaps with this victory ten Hag retained his place in Manchester (we don’t know this for sure yet). A manager has to build a team with the possibility that a player will not play a full season at a club. None, all of them are just struggling on one aspect too the other, of a truth the performance of Manchester united during the cause of the season was very bad and that led then to finish 8th position in the league, but I don't think the coach is the sole cause of it, regardless of injuries, the players of Manchester united has a very bad attitude to work, most of them aren't behaving as professionals, even though Eric ten hang is part of the problem, I don't think sacking him now will solve the major problem of Manchester united because he is not the sole cause of it, till the hierarchy of Manchester united start doing the right thing, Manchester united will keep on struggling regardless of the manager in charge of the team.

Without being sentimental with our opinion, Erik ten Hag isn't supposed to be exempted for his role in Manchester United's poor performances in the just concluded season especially in the English Premier League.
