Pretty sure we have had very open communication and have mentioned we will resolve any issues from unhappy buyers (especially early ones) multiple times, yet we have not received one email asking for a refund as mentioned in the top of this thread and tweeted about several times...We're here to help now, and no one has reached out to us personally, only complained via social media.  Please follow the instructions to claim a refund if you are unhappy and we will get it processed for you!

Just goes to show they are all mouth, crying about refunds yet when it is offered none want to take up the option. They would rather spread FUD hoping to pick up more cheaper coins when the market goes live.

I hope you get some refunds done to all the apparently unhappy investors on the thread but my guess is the number will still be 0 emails in the near future

Is it worth it to start staking 800 coins or should I wait untill I have a few 100 more and form a bigger block?

It's possible that a block of 800 may get lucky and be the chosen block to receive a stake, although if you could get your hands on another 400 or so coins quickly, I personally would merge into at least a 1200 block and leave the wallet open 24/7 and wait for stake Smiley

* ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS - by participating in this ICO, you are agreeing to the above terms.

That's strange, don't you think ?  Smiley

Bottom-Up Promotion

Here's something I think we should do as a community, and it's a route of marketing that a lot of coins seem to ignore.

We need to focus on social media, sharing, etc. sites on a country-by-country (geographical region) basis. Try to find the Facebook, Twitter, or what have you social media site for that area and build tipping and sharing bots for them. HYPbots perhaps? Wink

I'm willing to donate to bounties for the necessary technology, and I'm sure others are willing to pitch in to. The same can be said of Community Management Groups for each of these sites/regions.

Let's start brainstorming! Smiley

This coin is still tiny and can grow exponentially...
But listing on Cryptsy adds nothing since all the HBN, CAP, TEK enthusiasts are already in HYP.

You gotta get listed on BTER and get indigenous Chinese support...
That's where the growth is... could probably more than double the cap with China promotion.

But really it's still an incremental advance over HBN, CAP, etc
Most of this thread is about people debating the correct block size and devs posting ultra-technical stuff...
*** That's as far away from mainstream as you can get, it's math geek territory ***...
And I'm speaking as a software engineer for > 20 years and pro trader.

Also, nobody seems to have the foggiest idea what the actual return is...
Or where the coin will stabilize in terms of realistic long-term return...
And 2 days ago network weight doubled and then halved in a matter of hours (??).

Yes, I know it's experimental...

But unless a lot of these things are clarified...
And to quote John Tuld in Margin Call,

"“Speak to me as you would a small child, or a golden retriever,”...

If you cannot explain something to a 10 year old it cannot go mainstream...
So it all needs to be explained on Page One with a clear WhitePaper, maybe (eventually)...
Not conflicting information buried all over the place.

In the late 70's the same things were said about personal computers. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying that "mainstream" is only a piece of the picture. One day a coin will go truly mainstream. Maybe several of them. Bitcoin is the best positioned for that. And in that case, yes, making an explanation that a 10 year old can understand is necessary. But right now, all this technical discussion is leading to greater understanding by those who make it work, not the mainstream.

If we're to look at it that way, then I can make the simple explanation.

It's a money token. If it ain't spent, it grows. If it is, it don't.

Not satisfying, and not precise, but it's accurate enoughy for joe sixpack. But the geeks are the ones that will make it work to the point where that explanation is necessary. HYP is probably not ready for the big time. And HYPing it up is probably not wise right now. (sorry, couldn't resist).

The Wiki, as far as it has gone, is pretty good and getting better. The dev team is right there all the time. This coin has a lot going for it. Let's let it grow up a bit.

Several coins will go mainstream. It's not this shit.

Looking at your previous posts you seem to be rather inclined to FUD on other coins threads. The sad fact is you actually back a coin called Kittehcoin? Good luck on that getting to the mainstream my friend, as we continue to provide a solid alternative to all the pump and dump POW coins.

http://squallcrawl.fedaykin.us:85/address/SbRtC7aYYPCf5ptUQF6Ruiwixwwia59LS6

whats up with this address? seemingly constantly receiving full block rewards of 100 coins O.o

top 25 own 95+ % of coins :O

I'm number 26 btw

SbRtC7aYYPCf5ptUQF6Ruiwixwwia59LS6 this is a pool address

if the pool resolve a block, this address get 100% of the block reward and distribute the 100 coin to the miner

SuchPool.pw address

makes more sense!

so suchpool own 40% of the total coins right now?

any news from the dev on the plans for this coin in the near future?

anyone around from the multipool? I'm seeing a lot of rejected hashrate trying to mine at it with a 28MH/s scrypt rig, seems like the pool is unstable at the minute
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold and asset backed. on: September 27, 2014, 12:41:54 PM
Can someone tell me how to calculate mining profits with QBK multipool.

My calculation tells me if I'm mining scrypt with 3 x r9 290, which is about 2.4 MH/s, I would get 2 QBKs a day. That's far less profitable then XMR mining.

Am I wrong here?

I would be interested in an answer to this also. The multipool interface is poor in the sense it gives you no feedback on who is contributing what to the pool. i had a 82 MH/s scrypt rig pointed at it and got a payment of 9.19 QBK for shares totaling 11,551,811,904.00. the total paid out on the pool went up by circa 200 though so it would be nice to have some table with shares accumulated vs payment to x address.

It is not very transparent so hard to tell if would have been better mining the most profitable coin directly, converting to btc and buying the qbk off polo.
I will talk to the pool owner and suggest these to him if you like!!

that would be great! in the interest of transparency there kinda needs to be a breakdown of what went to what address for what amount of shares. If this is incorporated i will be quite happy to point my hashing power towards the pool in the future, cheers Smiley

whats up with the staking? I have had coins sat in my wallet for 2 days and all it says is 'not staking' what is the maturity of the coins required to begin staking?
