62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What are your expectations on ICE Network in the future? on: February 28, 2024, 04:27:27 PM
The Ice Network team has confirmed they have completed the distribution of ICE tokens to all mobile miners who participated in the app-based mining program over the past months. This marks the fulfillment of their commitment to reward users who contributed to the network's growth. Today, ICE token has been listed on major exchanges like Bitget, Bitmart, Poloniex and others according to their announcements. So far volume has been within expected levels for a new listing of this nature. The focus now turns to expanding the token's visibility and availability to a wider global audience.

As a blockchain project aiming to bring crypto functionality to mobile through features like decentralized identity, storage and more, Ice Network's progress in distributing its token and uplifting to new trading venues is an important step. The coming period will be key to observing how the Ice Network advances their technologies and grows real-world usage of the ICE economy over the long run.

But what do you guys think about supply distribution, where will the price of ICE go from here in the future?
63  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto is a scam on: February 28, 2024, 04:07:53 PM
The whole point of crypto was to make the process even the gap between rich and poor unfortunately it is doing the opposite quite sad to see
Well to be honest crypto is created to have all control over your funds and you decide what you do with.
And you have to think it's real life as well. Because you won't get rich overnight. The key is to learn about different projects and invest wisely to make money. if crypto was a scam, people would have abandoned it long time ago.

So learn things around, you can do airdrops to get your started with little funds and turn that value into thousands with research and of course with your blood, sweat and tears to it.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The rise of Layer 2 blockchains projects? on: February 27, 2024, 05:07:58 PM
As networks like Ethereum become more congested, layer 2 scaling solutions are gaining prominence. Projects like Polygon and Optimism are seeing adoption by moving transactions off-chain while maintaining layer 1 security. Mintlayer is an interesting layer 2 project I recently came across that's trying to bring advanced functionality to Bitcoin. It aims to enable smart contracts, NFTs, DeFi and more - functionality Bitcoin wasn't designed for. By tapping into Bitcoin's security and network effects, Mintlayer could unlock new possibilities if successful.

To power their ecosystem, Mintlayer created their own token called ML. From what I understand, you'll use ML for things like paying transaction fees or staking to earn rewards. Apparently some bigger exchanges like Bitget just listed ML recently too, potentially boosting its visibility and liquidity.

It's still early for Mintlayer, its mainnet only launched in 2021. But If it gains momentum, ML could become more valuable as the ecosystem's token. What are your thoughts on its future?
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Now the Perfect Moment to Dive into Game-fi and Metaverse Projects? on: February 27, 2024, 08:18:33 AM
(....)
Is this a savvy move, or would it be wise to steer clear?
I don't think that the Game-fi and metaverse will recover.
This niche or hype was aged already and I believe this time we already have new, some are these layer 2 networks or Artificial Intelligence (AI)

But for me, even if "now is not the perfect time", I believe they will stay and continue to grow, NFT/Game-fi and metaverse are good projects in our time right now.

I kinda agree that this niche is overused, but the projects OP mentioned have changed my perspective. For example, one of the projects, MAVIA, is created its own game similar to Clash of Clans, which I used to play a lot during 2018-2019. I'm sure you've played Clash of Clans at some point too. MAVIA's game made me feel like this sector has the potential to make gaming fun again, while also providing extra benefits like passive earning. Since I enjoyed Clash of Clans so much back in the day, a play-to-earn version with blockchain incentives is really appealing to me. While GameFi and metaverse may be cooling off from their huge hype cycles, I believe they still have a place in the future as the technology and adoption evolve over time.
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: What market do you trade? on: February 27, 2024, 03:53:19 AM
When it comes to trading, there are different markets that can be traded and money can be made from all of them.
1. Forex: This is the trading between currency pairs. In Forex trading you are buying and selling a currency against another e.g EUR/USD, GBP/USD.
2. Crypto: This is the buying and selling of a cryptocurrency usually against the US dollar
3. Stocks: This is simply buying and selling of a company's shares
4. Futures:  This is the buying and selling of futures. Futures are contracts that enable you to agree on a price for an asset in the present, to be exchanged in the future.
There are however others like Option trading, indices(synthetic), bonds e.t.c. and they are sometimes placed under the above categories.. what do you trade?

Tbh I have focused my efforts on crypto trading exclusively up to this point, since crypto is what I'm most passionate about and just you see we're already in a crypto-centered forum.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 26, 2024, 09:08:46 AM
If there's a way to learn and earn at the same time, of course it's good one since it's free money after all.
The idea of sharing insights is fine, as long as you are talking to someone who can give you the right information and not just to tell you what to buy. There's a risk here if you will just follow their suggestions or insights, to avoid being trap into any project its advisable to do your own research as well and with this, you can learn faster.
Bro, insights are definitely part of the learning journey, and there are lots of ways to earn free money, just like you said.
There's 'Learn to Earn', earning through following insights, and many other ways to get some tokens. Which I don't miss them since they can be more valuable in the future while holding the tokens.
And to be honest with you, I also always verify my information through Googling, Bing, sometimes even official crypto communities on Discord/Telegram.. It's not that hard for me if I have right friends and right communities. But thanks for your advice, cuz I also urge all to see this message that we all should not only rely on one source but multiple sources as more social media..

I also take some insights from Bitget Insights and Binance Feed. Besides being great resources, I've noticed I'm earning a bit of $BGB for checking things out and interacting on the former exchange's Insights. It's a nice way to get a little something back while I'm learning. Don't you think it's a cool way to learn and earn at the same time?
Whats BGB? Is this is some sort of subtle shill about it? Well I assume this isnt connected or related to your mentioned exxhanges. Trading is different from investment where you can earn on short period of time. Likewise most investment gets appreciated on the long term or if the price is extremely high already.
BGB is a native token of bitget exchange, just like similar to Binance's BNB token. You'll see there's lots of usecases in exchange native tokens, such as participating in launchpool, launchpad, discount in trading fees and many more mate
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 24, 2024, 03:09:50 PM
You know, trading strategies are the backbone of how any trader approaches the market. Whether you're into day trading or future trading, a good strategy gives you structure and a framework to make informed decisions.

Lately, I've been seeing the importance of community and shared knowledge around trading come up a lot. Sometimes the best insights come from discussing charts, setups, and market sentiment with other traders. Since I'm posting this, I'm sure you guys will have some tips to share that I can use to trade more wisely.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: February 24, 2024, 02:48:04 AM
There are thousands of altcoins in crypto market and each of coin has investors! Cause people have different choice from one to another.  People even invest in shitcoin to get rich quickly. So what are the names of your most 5 invested altcoins that you are holding or would like to invest soon?? Those are my choice
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Arbitrum
4. Cake
5. ApeCoin
Haha, I see you have a good eye for projects with both solid fundamentals and growth potential.

You know I'm also interested in Arbitrum and Cake. But among my own holdings, you'll find me holding ETH as the main one obviously, alongside ADA for its long-term vision and emphasis on methodical development. I'm also particularly bullish on OP due to its role within the Optimism rollup ecosystem. And I've also stacked up some BGB, since its recent price momentum and potential benefits within the Bitget exchange's environment. Lastly, I also hold some SAND tokens, because of its potential on metaverse.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 23, 2024, 12:33:47 PM
It is a general believe in the cryptocurrency community that Bitcoin bull season is usually followed by altcoins season. I don't know the logic behind it hence the reason for this post. The present bull run seems to be dominated by Bitcoin and its already taking too long without corresponding rise in price among the notable altcoins.

So, should we also expect altcoin season following the current bull run? If yes, what are the best altcoins to focus on?

Well you know, it's a common belief that Bitcoin bull runs often lead to alts season. I think the logic is that once Bitcoin gains settle down, investors start looking to altcoins for potentially higher returns. While this bull run has been all about Bitcoin, it could be that altcoins will have their moment later.

Of course, it's hard to say for sure when alts season will happen. But I'm currently eyeing a few projects that will have their moment once the season happens, such as MAVIA, DINO, BGB, OLAS and MATIC. These alts I researched a bit, and invested a portion every of them on Bitget, so I could profit from them once those alts show up in greens.
Anyway, Those are my risky investments. So my advice is to you, to focus on altcoins with strong fundamentals, real world uses, & good development teams, and invest wisely
71  Other / Off-topic / Re: Google account on: February 23, 2024, 10:16:01 AM
Hi. Someone changed my Google password and I can't recover this account because it is set to usb key recovery.

There is nothing serious in that email account. But now I will have to change email to all of my apps.

I there a way to contact Google support?

Did you try using like using your phone number to reset its password and even going through added email recovery for the code??

I remember when Google used to give us option to choose when we created our gmail account, now it doesn't exists, which I hate more google for it. I lost an account previously.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you made from airdrops this year, got PIXEL? on: February 21, 2024, 10:04:32 AM
I haven't made any money from airdrops. Almost %90 of airdrop are fake. I have participated in many AirDrop but all to no avail. It has continue to be in a sleeping mode for long now.  No exchange possible guarantee. For the pixels you talk about I haven't come across it. Even if I had know about it earlier, I wouldn't even give it a thought because AirDrop has changed my mind or reason to invest on it, because it has proven fruitles to many people who might have tried in one way or the other to make sure they also be edited from it.

it seems like you're chasing airdrops that aren't guaranteed. There are many better ways to secure airdrops. For example, PIXEL offers gaming rewards where you earn points that convert into tokens. So even though you didn't play the game, You can still earn PIXEL airdrops from events that exchanges like Bitget often host and lets you earn by completing simple tasks. Another way for getting airdrops is to participate in test net projects. But this involves bridging and exchanging tokens within their network, which may qualify you for future airdrops on that specific project.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: February 15, 2024, 12:49:20 PM
I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.

Man, I can relate to what you said here. I bought a lot of altcoins and even got few tokens/coins are from tips, there was a huge group with tipping people tokens/coins on telegram. and I withdrew some good amount of shitcoins and altcoins to my wallet. Guess how rich I was? $0.15 lmao..

My only worthwhile coin was a bit of MANA. And the rest was total garbage, not even worth the effort to sell.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t you think BRC20 tokens need more spotlight? on: February 11, 2024, 06:24:55 PM
its already being given spotlight some exchange even make some specialized market for BRC20 token its just that this token never taking off for some reason and one of them is definitely because it take advantage of exploit that causes the blockchain to be clogged with unnecessary transaction and as a result increase in fee as mentioned earlier, also the whole thing seems like a hack in my opinion, there are proper l2 for bitcoin where it truly implements smart contract system i wonder why people not gonna use that instead and choose the path of inscription.
added with the fact that these L2 aren't gonna be clogging the bitcoin blockchain with unnecessary transaction since these l2 are only submitting important data merged in one transaction to the bitcoin blockchain and thats it.
definitely more efficient technology but people are ignoring it, well, to be fair BRC20 is still kinda popular.

The movement surrounding BRC20 tokens can't really be argued against. Personally speaking, it's fascinating where the movement goes considering we're hearing about projects and coins being developed like RATS, SATS and ORDI. Afterall, how could there not be something interesting about using the Bitcoin blockchain in such an unconventional and of course in such a non-Bitcoin way?

It will be interesting to see if those projects find true utility or remain mostly as curiosities and speculative. Anyway, we have seen a few brc20 projects making their way out to be successful in this space like recently AINN is a community-driven AI concept project on BRC20, getting listed on major cexs like bitget, you could look for such projects where its interest from those exchanges that gives them popularity and recognitions.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real World Assets, AI Trust, and the Crypto revolution on: February 10, 2024, 04:35:45 PM
So here's my question bitcointalkers, how could crypto shape real world assets and AI positively? What potential excites you the most? Let me know your thoughts on these groundbreaking developments!

~snip~

There is some hype surrounding the use of AI in the crypto space, and some people have confirmed using AI to carry out their trades, and they agree that it's a great help. Although many traders have not yet confirmed the success rate of AI traders, which means that there are still a lot of limitations to it, if AI trading bots can be improved to be able to make 90% success in trade, that will be cool.

Mm. Do you already know any platform that offers the AI trading bot? Though it is difficult, I’d prefer one to build their own technology that makes money for them instead of using a service that we can’t really tell what it has been instructed to do. Looking at how smart recent AI softwares are, how AI can represent any profession (a trader in this context), I’d really like to see what it can do and the decisions it will make.

There are many platforms that offer AI trading bots dude, you can look it up on google if you find one but I dunno if it's legit. Check on TrustPilot to read reviews about it and see if it suits you.

Besides I do know a few AI trading platforms like Bitget, 3Commas or more. I use Bitget since they have lots of options for AI trading, you just need to choose your AI trading strategy. You can also set your bot's parameters, such as the amount of money traded and the profit target.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Don’t you think BRC20 tokens need more spotlight? on: February 10, 2024, 02:40:02 PM
Bitcoin price has gone up to 47k and there are lots of altcoins which are seeing price increases too. But there is one thing that seems to be left behind, which are the BRC20 tokens.
I see BRC20 as a try to see whether the Bitcoin network is compatible with token standards, and it’s also that for the first time there existed an apparatus where one could create and transfer digital assets on top of Bitcoin network.

BRC20 tokens should deserve more attention and recognition in the future. Since they provide a new way of creating and transferring value on the Bitcoin blockchain, thus opening up new possibilities for the web3 ecosystem given that it has its roots in this coin originated from bitcoin design. so don't you think this deserves more attention?
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: February 06, 2024, 06:38:59 AM
Suggest any under the radar coins which will go big soon.

My suggestion is XRD, Radix

Hmm nice title by the way, cos I never seen a coin soared up as much as 15x except for memecoins and BTC, eth… But you’re here expecting 100x haha. Frankly though, if I had to select which coin will blast off soon, it’s the BTC, my friend. Cos we already know bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto and it has the most demand and popularity. Although there are quite a few coins that I really would like to see pump such as SUI, INJ, NEAR, TIA, and APT.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any airdrops you are anticipating this year? on: February 06, 2024, 04:04:25 AM
Man — I'm tracking A LOT that I'm having troubles tracking them all.

HyperLiquid, Azuro, Blast, Grass, Parcl, MarginFi, Kamino, zkSync, Linea, Scroll, Wormhole. There are some others but these are my bets where I'm quite confident it will amount to something decent.

Damn nice! i'll be checking them out, thanks for all of these man, you're making us a huge amount of money (if airdropped xD)! Although I already kind of used SCROLL, had to get goerli eth and swap, bridge, add LP etc in test net, but I see no sign of airdrop yet. even tho, they announced main net too. So, well I gotta prep my fund to do transactions in their main net as well.
Anyway I'm also tying a few potential airdrops/rewards here like ALEO, Rainbow wallet that collect points and similarly, Bitget telegram mini app collects points that can be exchanged for USDT.

So guys, what are the airdrops or even great amount of rewards you are looking forward to in 2024?
Wormhole, Orbiter Finance, Linea, zkSync, Zerolend, MilkyWay, Berachain, Stride, Scallop, NAVI, Saga, Plume, Mode, Mavia.

TBH, I'm having a hard time being updated with all of those projects. I'm not focusing that much on Linea and zkSync even though they're being funded by many VCs already, and it's because it's saturated. Many already participated in the different apps under both blockchains, and even if I join, I will only get a few tokens. Not worth my time, and I'll just buy their tokens. I'll focus more on the tokens that have few to not that many people joining.

We are at the start of the year, but we've seen many airdrops already. Manta Network, Jupiter, WEN, Altlayer, Dymension, and many more in the future.

Thanks, haha I do agree that it's hard being updated on all of these! But you brought up some excellent well-known projects that could offer potential airdrops, I’ll explore them if I get a chance to do all that.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any airdrops you are anticipating this year? on: February 05, 2024, 03:24:45 AM
You know guys, I love to earn rewards for holding and using crypto. Since rewards are incentives that crypto projects offer to their users for various activities, such as learning, staking, lending, or trading. But they can be in any form like tokens, coins, vouchers, coupons, or bonuses.

Going back to 2014, rewards have been a part of the crypto space, when Auroracoin was airdropped to every citizen of Iceland. Since then, many projects have followed this strategy, such as Uniswap, dYdX, and Apecoin. Some of them have been very generous and profitable, like the Uniswap airdrop that gave 400 UNI tokens to every user who used their platform before September 2020, which was worth over $16,000 at its peak.
Anyway I'm still finding out more airdrops this year. But unfortunately, I didn't get to be eligible for WEN, JUP and many others.

So guys, what are the airdrops or even great amount of rewards you are looking forward to in 2024?
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much will you run your AC? on: January 29, 2024, 08:38:10 AM
It is really expensive so do you ever run the AC on hot days? When it comes to running the AC, I was taught by the best, my dad would say it was too expensive. And it is very true because it can get pricey to run electricity, instead.
I was taught to open all windows throughout the day to ventilate the air in your home.  I also make plenty of ice to enjoy my cup of water or lemonade ice chilled. I also try to have plenty of water bottles stored in my freezer so that when I get thirsty my water will be refreshing.
I also take advantage of the free air that they have running at the mall and it’s a great way to not run your AC home and cool off. Afterward Ill head over to the gym where they also have the AC running all day and go swimming for 2 hours.
In the evening when I get home, I run my fans and the AC by the time I go sleep to stay cool at night and be able to get some rest. I make sure to program the AC to run only for 4 hours max. So take advantage of places like gyms, libraries, malls, grocery stores, and movie theaters.

It's funny how things change. As a kid, I'd have the AC on all day and snuggle under a blanket. But after moving from country to country, AC became a luxury, and I realized how expensive it can be.

I've been searching for DIY ways to stay cool in the summer, so I appreciate these tips. I'll definitely give them a try.
