Exactly my point, they think they have known it all just because Bitcoin didn't give them a quick profit. Bitcoin is actually a long term project, and it should be kept that way, rather than comparing it with altcoins.
63  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Bitcoin no be old school on: March 23, 2024, 12:03:44 AM
Hello guys, it's been a while since I opted out of the forum due to some personal reasons that affected my schedule. Anyway I'm back and hoping to learn and communicate with my forum family. During my absence from the forum, I met a group of Investors who stated how they have been able to make lots of money via trading of altcoins. They said they'll buy at lower price mostly when the coin hasn't gotten enough volume of trade and market cap, then wait for it to increase in value and then sell. With the way they explained it, it seems they are using quite a huge amount to buy so they'll make enough profit from it, and they have been successfully with that pattern. But what really made me joined their discussion is when I heard them say "Bitcoin na old school na, na for old men". After hearing this I had to engage in an argument with them with the little knowledge I have acquired from this forum and my research, but they keep insisting that trend is the best and quickest way to make it from crypto.

My thought is, the fact that trends of nowadays can easily give a trader more profit than Bitcoin investment doesn't mean Bitcoin investment is for old people. I believe if they were among the first set of person who bought Bitcoin at a cheaper price, they wouldn't have made that statement, but because they came to the market late they feel one can make good profits from Bitcoin investment. Besides Bitcoin is know as a long term project, meaning if you exercise patience you'll be able to taste from the profit that lies in it. And with the current ATH, I believe Bitcoin is not yet done, scarcity will continue to increase as more investors enters into holding and that will cause a price increase.

Those who are yet to buy, don't loose hope because, you will eventually appreciate yourself in the future for keeping your believe in Bitcoin.

Op the ban has been removed oo, or are you trying to question the government for action that they have already thought of and reversed? Though it wasn't the right thing they were supposed to do, crypto didn't increase crime rate or increase the online fraudulent activities. So why the delay, and even during the restriction, Nigeria was still know as one of the top countries with crypto usage, so it seems as though they only restricted bank transactions with any crypto exchange or channel. The actions of the new CBN government is almost excellent, since he came in his decisions have been for the good of the country and the exchange market. If they keep up the work while our refineries are restored the value of our naira will bounce back in no time

This is one of the best explanation I have seen, concerning long term holding and short term holding. Those who hold Bitcoin for long, tends to get more more profit and good use of their investment when it's ripe to sell. But those who trade on short terms are just probably going to use the money to buy things or pay for expenses. But at the end long term holders would profit more.

68  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: The beauty of having a good team on: January 13, 2024, 05:26:41 AM
Outstanding, op you've done justice to this topic. Despite the length of the post, the information Inside is worth reading every single line, this is indeed a quality post. Team work is the best because, you're not the only one brainstorming to provide solution to a problem, though at some point it looks competitive but without challenges and competition how do we grow? It's also possible that because of deferent persons perspective they might be some aguement, but them say, 2 finger is better than one. If you've observed well enough in these big companies, they have what is called board members. These are people who have huge shares in the company and they make the decision of the company. They might have been with the company right from the start, but the key point is, these are the pillars of the company, and one of the obvious reason why the company became that big.

Your last point rounded everything perfectly, "if you want to go fast, you go alone, but if you want to go far, GET A TEAM". This is a valid point that can be backed up by real life situations. Even those who started as a sole proprietorship, after the business begins to boom they employ a team to help with sales or the cashier's duty. They can decide to remain stingy and the business would just collapse. What a man can do, men can do it even better.
69  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Does Bitcoin need advertisment? on: January 07, 2024, 06:23:56 PM
Greetings Bitcoin enthusiasts

While scrolling passed some Bitcoin related news, I came across a generous act practiced by a miner or miners, who gave over 1600 person free electricity from their generating power grid. And this is happening live at Malawi.
Source: https://blockbuild.africa/hydroelectricity-malawis-mining-homes-grid/

Sincerely speaking those beneficiaries of this electric power supply would be curious to know more about this Bitcoin mining and it's network, and before you'll know it more persons would want to adopt Bitcoin. That is why is why giveaways and promo are one of the best strategy of advertising. The miner might not be advertising Bitcoin, but his deed has already done the advertisement unknown to him.

Indeed we know that Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, meaning it is not controlled by a central authority. However, no one is being paid to advertise Bitcoin to increase its adoption, but the good news from the coin and the testimonies it's holders have is enough for other to trace and want to know about it. And often times the people who fight or give false info about the coin are indirectly advertising it to the public. Take for instance the media, it was after they placed a ban on crypto in Nigeria, that was when I became curious to know what it entails but I never got the chance to complete my research until I met this forum.

All I'm trying to say is, the market cap of Bitcoin has been increasing by there are no advertising team out there who are being paid for advertising Bitcoin to the public.

Here is my review

If you are looking for a great app that offers secure encrypted message, search no more because here is the solution to your request. Another basis feature that cut my attention is response time it takes for their AI to provide answers to your question. And it provided the accurate answer in less than of second, it is one of the fastest response time I have come across in using AI so far. After having some experience with the desktop software, this is a great substitute as your UUSD wallet

Hello guys

I want to use this opportunity to warmly greet every, Happy new year. I'm exited we crossed over, despite the challenges we faced back in 2023, I pray that this year would bring blessings like never before in Jesus name amen.

As I was scrolling passed sevice board in marketplace, I discovered a review which was limited to both newbies and jr member rank. So those who are interested in this can also go there to do the review. And the way it seems, the review would be done on play store, which would make it easier for everyone.
