61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 17, 2017, 05:53:27 PM
Whoa Zpool.....woke up this morning to see keccak at 3,000usd and my rigs were pumping at your site but with no diff adjusts happening...

I verified... when I moved all keccak mining from Sniffdog to another pool (with the diff's working) and noticed even the numbers are different on profit! ie: It's still reading your api but mining elsewhere and profit is much lower

please fix soon!
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: December 06, 2017, 07:04:16 AM
I just sold some btc at 12,100 .

Have to check on other coins  on bittrex.  May sell more.

Phil, curious are you selling coins off to take a profit or invest in more equipment?

That's sort of my dilemma now, I know buying and holding would yield more profit in the long run that mining. But I'm compelled to buy more mining equipment. It's sort of counter intuitive of course it's all speculative but still.

I sold a little to invest more in my Omnia link below for lifetime mining contracts. Second stream can't hurt!

Hi guys,

I am planing on getting the GTX 1080. is it important to get the 11 GB or the 8 GB can do the same job and mine as good as the 11 Gb can??
The diffrent in price is almost 300$ on each GPU!

Bet Regards
3aliih

You will be a lot happier with the 11gb 1080ti or the new 1070ti

My 1080 I use for World of Warcraft...
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: December 06, 2017, 06:34:01 AM

Curious, what inteval (in sec) would you use in your test?

Lets take a look at the default intervals from the usual suspects and be utterly confused:

MPH-60
Sniffdog-90
Nemos-120
fork of Sniffdog by Hashrefinery- 300
Megaminer-600

Maybe one should take into consideration the total hashrate of the rig when setting the intensity?
So a person with a single 1070 in his gaming computer should set it to 600 and a person with a 6X1070 rig should set it to 120?

BTW, I am at hashrefinery ATM doing xevan, neoscrypt and skein since they seem to be best earners according to "24h actual" thingie.
I do not recommend X17  since Verge is getting too many orphaned blocks.
Some people are complaining about MobileCash (Lyra2v2) on Zpool, calling it a shitcoin.
Somebody please enlighten me because I thought that 90% of zpool coins fall into that category Smiley

If you want to include Sniffdog in this senerio.... please understand that default interval (90) is only set for the benching... you can change to whatever setting you wish after. ***FOR EXAMPLE*** I try to increase interval as more algos I use in my bat file or else Sniffdog... turns into Spazzdog (if you know what I mean)

I have been mostly using Sniffdog at ahashpool. 0% fees for now.

Oh, almost forgot... also found more bitcoin lifetime mining contracts. Links are below for sniff and omnia

Fromage ... I really like your Sniffdog .. it's so neat and light........
1. Can you please help in pointing where to set some extra arguments like ..... "-q" or my custom setting of "-i" for each algo and each miner. I tried just close to "-Join". but don't know if any better place.
2. Is it possible to scale an algo by boosting it more compared to others when selection criteria is taken. Like i want to apply "1.25 times" neoscrypt in hashrefinery than others during the selection. Is there a way ?

Yes I can help you out...

Goto the Miners folders and "right click" to edit the ccminer files. Inside you will see where I have already added -i to some of the algos. Majority of my -i adds where in ccmineralexis due to some were saying it was needed for rigs over 4 cards.

Hope this helps!

Please check the graph on my screenshot again. it shows hashrate per hour, not per second, so it should normaly be around 4.5-5.0 Gh/s for 5x1080 ti per hour.

+ as you can see I have 2 more rigs and their hashrate is constant.

Sorry Nemo for dropping in but need to explain this to this gentleman...

Hashrefinery is now placing a stratum server reset daily... I have emailed him several times about this and a fix has been made...

Thanks

EDIT: magically begins working   Shocked

Just finished a clients build with 6 EVGA 1080ti SC with no overclock.

Those are all latest Ccminers

I will be updating Sniffdog on new release with stock settings....

FYI... Some of you probably know but those who don't... Nvidia see's that the card was used for mining.... won't be warranty... take care if you over/underclock. Smiley This is the first time since I started crypto mining that vendors and companies are refusing warranty work...

Just to Vent.... None of this is illegal!!!!!

There.... I'll shut my big yap!

Hi,
Been trying ZPool and Hash Refinery Mining Pool but yet to get a payout to my actual wallet.

Still a little way off hitting the payout threshold with Zpool but a bit concerned that I have had over 0.0013 BTC Confirmed on Hash Refinery Mining Pool since mid last week but it didn't payout automatically on Sunday.

On the main page it says:

"Payouts are made automatically every 8 hours for all balances above 0.0025, or 0.00025 on Sunday."

As my balance was well over the 0.00025 well before Sunday, wondering why it hasn't payed out?

Just to confirm it does show my correct Bitcoin wallet address under the wallet section on ZPool and Hash Refinery Mining Pool. Still a little way off hitting the threshold of 0.0015 for Zpool but wondering it looks like it might end up with the same issue.

Mining Pool Hub has already payed out to the same wallet address successfully.

Yeah first of all this is Zpool's bitcointalk....Pm me for more info on the other one

Sniff is optimized for 1080ti that's only difference I think. Can I disable one guy from mining by -cdri number in Sniff bat? Can't test it right now, but want to split rig for btc auto convert and strict nist5/skein mining to check differences.

use nemominer 1.7.3 for split rigs

... did anyone see what I wrote?
Well I saw what You wrote, but that wasn't answer to my question Smiley I want to enable only one card for algo switching, and I'll launch separate miner for one algo only. Just wonder if I can pass -cdri into bat file or I have to add it in every miner .ps1

the benching will be off.... yes even if you fix it once it will do it again

why I use nemominer 1.7.3 then add arguments  Wink

Been away for a bit but just to let everyone know latest update has tpruvot 2.2

I read some were asking about Nemos and mine... they pretty much run the same... If Nemo added hash then they would be the same

I still use Nemo 1.7.3 for splitting rigs...

I havn't downloaded Nemos lately so I don't know if he added my currency monitor.....

Thanks to everyone who is trying out SniffDog! I was away and when I got back it was still there running. There was a few extra's to do's to make it really good...

My bios restart is set to auto in case of power outages...

Add a task schedule so that your miner restarts every 24 hours (I also run Win10 with updates with no problems)....

Add the startsniff.bat into startup....

I tried Sniff yesterday and liked it, but can you answer this wuestion please:
Is there a command to put on .bat file to start multiple Gpus or just start ant it will recognize everything?

Sniffdog runs all cards on your rig.... you can verify when the miner begins to run....

At this time the startsniff.bat fill DOES NOT have number of GPU to split your rig...

Reason... is because the API is only monitoring the default port so if you have two Sniffdog's going... the second... will bounce to the next port and your api reading will mess up your benching.

This is why I still use Nemo 1.7.3 to split rig because the hashrates are hard coded in the password as profitability so when port jumps... it won't affect it

Edit: 1.7.3 is for zpool and hash split rig mining only
