62  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: December 07, 2019, 09:12:03 PM
But there are those who are born in poverty which is not their choice. Also, take Africa as an example where the people are forced to live in poverty and can’t do anything about it because their basic rights especially with education are not given to them. It is by the corrupt politicians we turn along with the opportunistic people playing behind the scenes. You are lucky to have been born especially in a country where the government had provided you protection of your basic rights and needs as well as I.
You're absolutely right.I would also like to point to India as an example.Where a very large number of people live in poverty simply because they were born into a poor family. It's very cruel really.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: December 07, 2019, 09:04:17 PM
It is an evil that is necessary. Just as many country men have lost their jobs, so many bankers will also lose their jobs someday.
Yeah not very much like anyone to lose their jobs, but it comes down to this scenario.Alas.Many people who perform the role of intermediaries are waiting for such a fate.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: December 07, 2019, 08:33:26 PM
Digital Assets are still not considered to form part of the mainstream, but things are changing. More and more governments are recognizing the potential of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, and implementing their own coins. We’ll be taking a look at all of the countries testing digital assets in 2020, and where this technology could take us.
Russia
Russia has also shared it’s interest in creating a government cryptocurrency called Cryptoruble. Announced by President Vladimir Putin in 2017, the cryptocurrency will be linked to Russia’s Central Bank. The coin is currently still in development.

Where's the evidence? I have not seen or heard anything like this from the President. It's all rumors. It seems to me that in silence everyone is slowly thinking about creating their own cryptocurrency. You at least forgot to specify additionally Germany, China and France.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: December 07, 2019, 08:24:14 PM
Well, they are rather curious tips, but they can be justified. The point is that to get rich without a job and without using the banks, the only thing that comes to mind is to be a drug trafficker or a robber.
I don't know if it's a good idea ... Smiley
Perhaps the author of the post meant spiritual enrichment? I think that it is impossible for a person to give up those things that the author says, because they are all a chain of full life and no one will give them up.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: December 07, 2019, 08:06:16 PM
Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
That's why the exchange is of genuine interest to investors. There are actually a lot of investors, but as you correctly said, they do not have confidence, or it just disappeared. So IEO on top exchanges will live a long time.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: December 07, 2019, 08:01:34 PM
I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.

This is really good and a nice point of view, but let's take it from another perspective, every coin in this space has its use case or the reason it is being created for right? Like, to launch a new project on Ethereum blockchain, ETH is needed etc. So, in the same way, in every exchange the utility of their token lies within that exchange in question and might be hard having another uses outside the exchange because there might be competition with those already existing. This is a nice suggestion though, but in my own opinion, might not work as it might bring distraction to the team; there is no harm in trying though if only they can wish to try it out.
Personally, I don't see the point. Why make a listing for an internal exchange token? If there is interest in it, you can buy it directly on the stock exchange.Perhaps such an interest in the exchange token will be interesting for professional traders, but ordinary users do not need it.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I Buy Bitcoin Now? on: December 01, 2019, 04:57:16 PM
As far as I know right now bitcoin price is little bit low and in near future price will rise again. So I think it is best time to buy Bitcoin.
This is a really difficult question. On the one hand, bitcoin is expensive, but on the other (if we consider bitcoin as a long-term investment) , it is undoubtedly very cheap. From what angle you look at it, from that you need to make your choice. I think that now is a good time to buy.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: November 29, 2019, 09:26:20 PM
TF1, the first national channel in France, has begun broadcasting Bitcoin-related ads multiple times a day. The services being advertised are by Keplerk, which allows people to buy BTC in over 6,500 tobacco shops.

Bitcoin ads are airing in France on the leading national channels. Watchers of TF1 unexpectedly found themselves viewing Bitcoin ads promoting Keplerk’s Bitcoin services in between their programming. Keplerk is a company that recently announced BTC purchases in many of France’s tobacco shops.

Check out the full news here

For me, I think this is a great move by TF1. Now that they’re increasing Bitcoin’s exposure in France, I would expect that other countries who are pro-Bitcoin or crypto will follow suit in the future.
I am not watching TV at all, and it's been like that for years, so I don't know who and why even watches that (TV series excluded). My point is that TV is probably for people who are not interested in Bitcoin anyway. And obviously the service is promoting itself rather than Bitcoin. Moreover, I don't like the tobacco shop part. It's a personal choice to smoke or not, but promoting it is not a good thing. Moreover, it's not a good association with Bitcoin is creates. I mean, it's not as bad as it could be, I guess, but a chain of cinemas/cafes/shopping malls would be better. Still, though, it seems that this is better than nothing, it's still publicity and not necessarily a bad one.
Your logic is correct. But I think the situation will correct itself. After a while, bitcoin can be bought in other places. To be honest, I keep a close eye on French startups.I am sure that investments in them should be justified.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 09:20:01 PM
It's simple,
When Satoshi Nakamoto reveals his true identity many people will take interest and find her and use his knowledge to control bitcoin secretly.

We do not even know if satoshi nakamoto is still alive or not.
Not only that we don't even know it's 1 person or a group of individuals. In any case, it would be better for the bitcoin and cryptocurrency community if we did not find out who Satoshi is. If everyone finds out who he / they are, then on the one hand everyone will admire them and on the other hand they can be punished and poured with dirt.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Shopping Mall in USA Goes All in BTC ATMs for Holiday on: November 29, 2019, 09:13:56 PM
Having the Bitcoin ATMs there is all good and well, but if the people are just buying to spend it at merchants that would convert it to Fiat, then it

would have zero influence on the price. True adoption needs more P2P trades without these ATMs adding high fees for the transactions. Do not get

me wrong, I am not saying it is totally bad for adoption... I am just saying that it is not the ideal method to put bitcoins into people's wallets. Now

the shops in the Mall should just give extra discounts for people paying in bitcoins...then we will see good adoption taking place there.  Wink
This is understandable, but still the news is very happy. The process of accepting bitcoin is gradually going in a positive direction. And do not wait for the price increase, it will be enough if everyone uses bitcoin more often and not fiat.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 safety concerns? on: November 28, 2019, 10:30:54 PM
what would be your top 6 safety concerns you have in the crypto space?

whether it be like scammers? wallet protection? exchange protection ? integrity of content creators?

lets hear it . and why you think its a concern
Security is lacking in mobile applications.I don't really trust them.In the play market(android) can add anyone who wants. As a result, only the end user can suffer.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2019, 10:24:45 PM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

Find smarter girls to experiment with. Cool lol. It's just that it's all very difficult for them. Although, to be honest, there are not so few girls in crypto.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: November 27, 2019, 10:51:45 AM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
I don't think there will be any other form of money. For the next 100 years, it will be enough for humanity to have a cryptocurrency.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: November 27, 2019, 10:17:50 AM
Bitcoin is traceable, and if you are buying on an exchange with KYC, your ID is linked to your bitcoin.
There are ways to get around this, just like there is with USD. Is your ID on a dollar bill?

Yes but there are decentralized exchanges in which KYC is not needed. At this stage of the formation of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in particular, it is very difficult to determine the owner of bitcoin.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s dying for the 378th time, so when’s the 379th? on: November 27, 2019, 10:01:01 AM
If bitcoin really dies, then the entire crypto market will die.I don't think that's possible.Lowering the price does not mean death. Cool
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an example for a successful ICO launched on Stellar on: November 23, 2019, 09:19:48 PM
Hi all,

I really like the Stellar blockchain, and was thinking about basing my own project on this chain.

Just wanted to know if anybody knows of a cool example for an ICO based off of the Stellar network.

Cheers,
buhrmi
The choice is actually very good.I'm a big believer in the Stellar project myself.I know one very promising project that conducted an ICO on the Stellar blockchain.Judging by the updates on the site, the project is quite alive and follows the road map.https://www.glitzkoin.com/
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 23, 2019, 09:13:51 PM
The fact that you invested in BTC and ETH is already a good investment, the question is how much time you need to hold.  Now the market is more likely to invest, the price of the assets you have chosen has decreased.  Investments in IEO as well as in ICO projects have certain risks.  We need to take seriously the study of projects.  You need to choose IEO on top exchanges, as companies try to conduct good projects where there are more users.
Undoubtedly, you need to choose only the top exchanges. At the moment, I participate in IEO on the exchanges Binance and KuCoin.Quite happy with the result. The author of the post with a competent investment will be able to get a profit

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin never goes past 5-10KUSD again, what is the best action? on: November 22, 2019, 08:50:23 PM
In 2018, the price of bitcoin was 4000$ but nevertheless the price rose to 10 000.Now of course begins again decline.Until the market stabilizes the price will fall and become more.I think it is not necessary to sell bitcoin even if it will cost the same for a long time.Too much is swirling around this cryptocurrency. And I hope that the fate of bitcoin will go beyond 50 000$
