61  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 16, 2017, 08:29:37 AM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
No cash can't be extinct just now and that too in so much less time, this would not happen at least in 10 years from now.
Most of the world's population don't even have a clue of what Bitcoin is, event the people who are working in IT sector also don't have an idea of what is bitcoin and how it works and you are thinking that it could replace cash this quickly, if so then what will happen today illereate people, how would they pay for their food if they don't even have a slight idea one how tobacco acquire and use this currency.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: October 16, 2017, 05:08:07 AM
funny. i always believe in bitcoin and now its cross already 5600$.  day by day the price of bitcoin is increasing frequently. hope the price of bitcoin will cross 8k  at the end of this year.
I also am hoping for the bitcoin price to reach more than $8k by end of this year. I am surprised to see that what people can do for free money, the price is rising due to fork which is planned for 25th October, so the people are buying bitcoin and selling altcoins for taking a chunk of that bitgold. And I believe that after the fork is done then the price of bitcoin is gonna fall back to where it was before this pump. But this pump is gonna benefit bitcoin in the long run for sure.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin hit 10.000 in 2018? on: October 16, 2017, 04:40:04 AM
No matter if $ or €
Bitcoin is in a bullish market so no one knows what will be the maximum price before it goes into a channel or in a bearish market, but for sure it will cross $7k mark in 2018 and maybe $15k price is within reach of this trend that bitcoin followed last year will continue in 2018 also, it will be interesting to see how it performs in the next year and also the fork is coming so we should also consider it in the equation that due to it the price fan b increasing also.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will go down? on: October 15, 2017, 12:14:14 PM
Theory

I think because many people are buying now BTC due to "free money" the schedule to be at November ( BTC GOLD ) I believe that its price should go down because many people also transfer there funds from altcoin to bitcoin
And it good time to buy altcoin ( maybe wait even a bit longer )

What do you think?
I also think that people are buying bitcoin just for free bitcoin gold fork. And that's why the price of Altcoin is going down and bitcoin price is increasing, now it is struggling in $5600 range and it can go up as well as down.
And the best time for buying altcoins would be just a couple of days before the fork. As at that time there will be so much hype about bitgold and no one would be paying attention to altcoins so it will be quiet easy to get cheap altcoins at that time.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: October 15, 2017, 11:59:38 AM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh
I have about 3.9 btc saved up and a couple more in different altcoins. And your plan of taking about 25% from each paycheck and converting it to bitcoin is a pretty nice idea and I have also thought about in the past and tried to implement it but it only worked for a few months and in case of emergency I had to use those funds which I saved for investment in crypto. But I will also be doing the same by saving my money and investing it in crypto.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Smart Passive Income on: October 15, 2017, 10:57:11 AM
I have an idea for a website that will attract many visitors.
I will need to put a lot of effort to build it,
but then it will run (almost) by itself.

What will be the best way to convert it to some passive income?
Advertising? Affiliates? VIP registration?
How much should I expect to earn from it?
I think it will be the best choice to pursue your interests and I am sure with enough will power and hardwork you will succeed. But considering passive income from your website can't happen because of many reasons, as you will have to constantly add new things to your website as if you don't add new things then why would someone come again to see old things that were posted previously, so to have to get a few employees after your website get quiet handsome number of views per month.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Infographic: Why Bitcoin Skyrocketed this week on: October 15, 2017, 10:34:24 AM
there is also
- Chinese news was updated and changed from "China banning bitcoin" to "Chinese exchanges may open up again soon". and also the fact that a big dip happened because of the China FUD and after dip there is a recovery and some small rally
- also the rumor about Amazon accepting bitcoin may have had some effect.
- there is also the fact that everywhere you look these days, they are talking about bitcoin. positive or negative doesn't matter, they are advertising bitcoin and it is bound to bring more money in.

let me quote your post so the picture shows up:
I made a little infographic with some explanations for the increase in Bitcoin's value this week. Are there any more theories or ideas out there?

The most hyped concept about this is of bitcoin gold, and also I was believing about acceptance of bitcoin on Amazon, but wasn't able to find any official announcement from the team. And I've seen many people say that it's because that bitcoin has discovered its true value or anything like that, but I don't think that's the case as in that case the price would have gradually increased and not like a bear market just shooted up.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: October 15, 2017, 10:15:31 AM
How would you feel if you lost 50 btc after gambling... https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/92ff9f2dmRCeSttM0U0a1dPZ0tTSDd4OW4vZz09/r/2744 What's the biggest loss you've taken before, and do you have any good coping strategies? I do wonder if it's better or not to express anger or to just try and ignore it as best as possible. Personally I just get angry and yell some swears, but curious how other people react when losing and any tips on coping.
At most I have lost 0.5btc in a single bet and after that I have limited the money with which I gamble. And when I lost 0.5btc I was a beginner, but that gave me lesson for a lifetime that I should always first understand the thing that I am going in otherwise it can cause trouble for me. There have also been many instances in which I have lost about 0.1 btc a number of times in cricket and football bets, so I left sports betting for some time and now I just stick to online casinos.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: October 15, 2017, 10:03:57 AM
Yes, experience matter a lot in gambling and it have proven helpful for me in past quiet frequently when I gambled.when I was a beginner then I lost my bankroll many a times and wondering what went wrong, was I responsible for that or it was just a coincidence, but after winning and losing so many times now I am experienced gambler and play much more better than I started first and also if you know the right gambling strategy then it can help you win and avoid losing of bankroll.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 04:38:58 PM
Should I Invest In Bitcoin?
Yes you should invest in bitcoins,it is the currency for the future and we are one of early adapters of this currency. But first you should take a deep look on what is bitcoin and other stuff and also keep in mind that this kind of investment is very risky so you should invest what you can afford to loose, and also that many governments are against bitcoin and it can also be banned so all your investment can go to zero just because of a decision by the government.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: October 14, 2017, 03:39:21 PM
I know that for some of you, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account using wallets like coinbase but this feature is not available for many countries.
Since its not available in my country too I always withdraw my bitcoins from my address to payza then from payza to payoneer (by using exchangers).

How do you guys withdraw your btc?
I use localbitcoins mainly for converting my bitcoins to cash.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 14, 2017, 03:23:33 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
Yes for me money is above other things but also I try to go to the church periodically and also I never disrespect the elders. Also that I respect God and also go to church at least in a week, and people should never disrespect elders as they have more experience than us and whatever they say it can sound harsh but they know from their experience that what is right, so money comes after the elders and God too and we must respect all if we want to succeed in life.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: $5000 is already breached on: October 14, 2017, 02:57:49 PM
I just checked Bitfinex and its currently trading above $5000 now (currently $5100). Hope this is sustainable though. Expect a lot of press release later above this new milestone that has been reach.  Grin Grin Grin
Bitcoin was at 5800 also on a few exchanges the past day, and it was quiet fun to watch the price rally.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 7k before fork? on: October 14, 2017, 02:31:37 PM
Do you think we can go beyond 7k before hardfork? Smiley
I don't think now that bitcoin can break $7k before fork, it is barely staying at $5.5k and also isn't able to breach $6k now, so there is very little time for it to reach $7k. Also bitcoin is not firm at $5.5k, is fluctuating so much daily that it's become hard to predict that either will it go up or come down, but as i heard that a lot of traders are backing it to go $6k plus near the day of the fork but beyond that the support is very less and it can come down before reaching $7k.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6000 comming through on: October 13, 2017, 02:05:49 PM
Major resistances have been blown like a tower of cards. This is only the beginning. Expect $7000 short thereafter. We may get to $10000 this year if the segwit2x corporate takeover is beaten quick enough. Im hoping everyone with power in bitcoin crushes the corporations involved in the hardfork.

If we get past segwit2x, it will be smooth sailing. For now let's enjoy the ride.
Bitcoin passed $6k mark on a few exchanges today but then it corrected back to $5.5k but I think the average price per bitcoin of $6k will be attained before the start of November. But after the hardfork the price can come down because then the momentum will shift towards ethereum and its hardfork which has already been implemented and also to other crypto so the price beyond $6k in the near future is hardly attainable, but if any news in favor of bitcoin comes then there can again be a price rally and then bitcoin price can go higher.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: October 13, 2017, 01:47:37 PM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?
Investing in crypto is a much better choice, if you are not comfortable in investing in ICO or any other altcoins then you should stick with the blue chip stock of crypto, the bitcoin. It provides more return in an year than any blue chip stock in stock market. But a true investor will find plenty of opportunities to invest in the ICO frenzy going on these days. But as we should not keep all our eggs in one basket so I choose to invest a proportional amount of my money into both stocs and crypto.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why YOU should really care about Provably Fair... on: October 13, 2017, 12:44:34 PM
I care about provably fair a lot, I just don't want to play in a casino which isn't probably fair as what if I get lucky and started winning and got a huge bankroll and decided to bet big amounts and then the casino make the game rigged and then I loose, this is the main concern in my mind about the casinos which aren't provably fair. No one likes playing in a casino which says it's not provably fair but it don't cheat.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: October 13, 2017, 12:31:54 PM
Small investments does make sense to me as i deposit a small amount of money in my SIP account periodically and it will grow into a large investment till my age of retirement.but the rate of growth provided by the small investments seems so tiny and unprofitable but I think of it as a plan for my children, as through the gains of the plan I am gonna use the money for the education and well upbringing of my children, as when I retire I would not have any source of income for me so I invest in SIP. My bank automatically deducts a fixed amount of money from my monthly salary for investing.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: October 13, 2017, 12:18:08 PM
Many gamblers know that they can't win money from gambling but they keep on gamble again and again but not with a small amount. Some people even borrow money from others to gamble. That means they never learn from their past gambling mistakes.

Are you doing this kind of gambling mistake?
I was thinking of borrowing money to gamble and then return the person back once I have grew the money but a wise friend of mine advised to not borrow money for gambling and thank god I followed it, otherwise I would have gone in debt. So having caring friends does help a lot. And also in start I used to chase the losses, I used to think that I can earn back whatever I lost if I get big and in that process I lost my bankroll many a times, but this have changed now.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: October 12, 2017, 05:37:38 PM
Question1: Best gambling games you ever in countered please do share it here I really want to try games that are fun and the same you earn Bitcoins?

Question2: can I play games by the use of altcoin or just bitcoins?
You can try dice game on yobit or any popular website and also bustabit is quiet addictive if you want to try something new.
Must dice games accept bitcoins and altcoins both, but in bustabit you would have to play only via bitcoins. But their are many websites where altcoins are accepted for gambling and also if they don't accept altcoins they definitely do have the option of shapeshift where you can sell your altcoins for bitcoins and then you can gamble with them.
