65  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS BFL ASIC SINGLE 60GH/s - Ordered June 23rd on: February 02, 2013, 12:43:44 AM
Hey All,

I just put this together today, but I'm going to be flogging it to everyone for the next week or so. Here's what I'm offering.

I have a number of singles under order number 16xx (one of the very first orders on June 23rd). I'm selling each one for $1950USD paid in bitcoin (normally $1299USD).

The way it will work: The device ships out to me, then I overnight it to you.

Additionally I can, for a 5% operating fee, unpack it and get it mining as soon as it arrives. I'll give you a 10 calendar day heads up if a difficulty change makes 5% an insufficient amount. Oh, and if at any time you would like it shipped during the hosting I'll need 24 hours notice, but it'll be shipped within an hour of going offline.

5 currently available. For shipping simplicity, continental US only, for now.

Cheers,

Jon(SysRun) in Portland, Oregon

Don't worry, I'm sure once Tom's BFL ASICs arrive he'll pay everyone back...

Seriously though, I think its time to start the scammer accusation thread. Let me know if I'm still being unreasonable jgarzik.

Are the 800 boards more or less 12TH/s?

Im glad for Avalon, I really am. It must be a hard thing not to take the BTC and run to the Gayman Islands like BFL, Bitcoinica, and the rest did.
For providing false info onto the forum while being "staff member" you should be banned. You should NEVER be a moderator here or anywhere else.

Regardless of whether Diablo was being sarcastic or not, I don't think anyone is going to believe him when he says that BFL ran off to the Gayman Islands.

You're seriously saying Diablo should be banned for joking about BFL running with their money? They brought all of this community's criticism upon themselves. It's not slander at this point, even if they do deliver.
Well...

Code:
slan·der  [slan-der]  Show IPA
noun
1.
defamation; calumny: rumors full of slander.
2.
a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report: a slander against his good name.
3.
Law. defamation by oral utterance rather than by writing, pictures, etc.
verb (used with object)
4.
to utter slander against; defame.
verb (used without object)
5.
to utter or circulate slander.
I'd say definition #2 fits Diablo's statement fairly well.  It is malicious, false (or at the very least, not proven true), and defamatory.  He should not be a moderator.

I have to agree with you. Anyway, that aside, friedcat, you're on!

January 12th or before... when he was still refunding. Would have been good news.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: January 30, 2013, 06:14:02 PM
when was the last time we were at $20?

EDIT: middle of june 2011. thanks adamstgBit

The $20 dollar wall is going to be moved in the next couple hours. Why sell at 20 when you can sell at 21?
73  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 30, 2013, 06:05:59 PM
People have been requesting BTC refunds for weeks, and none have received it.

The stated plan is CC then BTC.  Money has been actively flowing.

My BTC refund was requested weeks ago as well.  Doesn't change the plan or signs of progress.

Had the situation been different and cablepair's communication not been impaired by alcohol/hacked/whatever I would feel comfortable sitting and waiting.

I'm confused, given the current circumstances, why you would have confidence in cablepair's intent to issue refunds in BTC.

(<unrelated>, did it arrive yet. did it arrive yet?!)

0 BTC to report here as well. It may be time to go forward with the scammer accusation.

I am, or at the very least was, a potential customer. Additionally, I am an actual customer.
77  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: January 30, 2013, 12:46:50 AM
If you are going to start trolling your potential customers, you may want to start trying harder. Maybe Inaba will give you a quick lesson.  Roll Eyes

He isn't a potential customer. As for trolling... think what you will. All he did was repeating what I've established as fact, and all I did was made sure he didn't miss it. Seeing how he pops up every 2-3 pages talking about how I've yet to provide a tracking number.

If this was on purpose however, I'd like to start ignoring him. What do you expect SysRun? reply to you with things like "Sorry, I have no new information" every 2-3 pages?

We're all scratching our heads here. Perhaps something was lost in translation? Nobody's perfect, let's just let it slide.

Start ignoring?
79  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: January 29, 2013, 11:45:25 PM
Also pretty funny how you can spend 400 dollars on shipping without getting a tracking number.

EDIT: for the record, I did not miss this post from the 22nd stating that tracking number will be provided. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137534.msg1471112#msg1471112
