.... **EDIT** I was going to reply in full to your claims but decided it wasn't my bag.

Yes, your support (maybe you) 'fixed' an issue with a payment you guys sent with a too-low fee, which took almost 48hour to confirm.
(Even blockchain said it was below the recommended fee.)
And by 'fix' I was told to wait it out as it's out of your hands...  Lips sealed.
Sooo... not sure you can call that a 'fix'..

Regarding your 'presence' or lack of on this forum. I understand people are busy, but considering you make your $$$ renting crypto hashing services and this is the BIGGEST and most active crypto forum , you would think you or your company would put more of an effort to keep people happy and informed, etc... Much easier to diffuse a situation in public than let it brew and more and more people chime in and it's part of a searchanble history when someone tries to google your reviews. It's basic business sense.

Either way, 'Meh' Is all I can say to your rebuttal to my points before..

There are weeks without any one else reply here.
We support our users and keep them "happy" and informed on our site directly. It's basic business sense to support users where they are interacting the most.

As far as tx fee, our fee had worked for two years - We used the fee set by bitcoin core, and suddenly it's not enough. Not our fault, complain to core devs. We manually increased it as soon as we noticed an issue.
And as far as I know, I'm not aware of any service that alerts you as to when there is an attack on the bitcoin network, clogging it up. So if you were unlucky to have withdrawn before we upped it, well that is just BTCad luck isn't it. Tx's will eventually confirm, just may take a few hours in this case.

I've given up on this for now.

Still though.
Over the past week or so I've opened up a bunch of tickets regarding rentals that performed at a more than 10% loss vs what I paid for and your tech support closed all with this line :

Pool error: High price. No order to work on

Huh?? Pool was fine, you can see on the other rentals, and it's clear-cut that I received a lot less than purchased, yet got hozed in the process..
What gives?!?!?

You pointed your rentals to nicehash... If there are no orders on nicehash they send that error, and close the connection. - there is no mining going on due to your pool rejecting the connection.
So, as a rig owner yourself, do you expect the rig owner you rented from to foot the bill for your pool choice?

Wish I had checked this thread out before I tried them out.
One rig for three hour rental is doing fine, the other rented for twenty four connected then went to zero hash after 15 minutes and two different pools. Mining on both with my own rigs so I know the pools are fine.

Owner said he'll try to reboot, so far no joy.

And MRR hasn't canceled or refunded either.

-from OP - "Automatic rental cancellations if you rent a rig that is offline for at least 20 minutes of the first 30 minutes of the rental. Rent with confidence!"

If that's the case, the site has changed a lot since I went used it around June 2015. At that time, each time I had a problem with low hashrate or no hashrate, I get refunded proportionally to the working time I had.

It used to. But lately their support is either missing, or they are pocketing the differences in lost hash rate..

They still have NOT responded in this thread about this lately... Makes you wonder.

Again.... ANYONE Know of a better rental service out there that you can trust? I'm all ears.. Wish Betarigs would still be running, But those morons ran it into the wall within a month.

As far as I recall, we speak often on tickets, we answer them all within a reasonable amount of time. We all need to sleep BTW.

I work my ass off for MY business: MRR, to develop new features and answer tickets and to run the site, which mind you is a lot of work for a niche market that wildly fluctuates.
I viewed this thread not too long ago.. also consider the fact that we spend most of our time supporting our users via our ticket system, an internet form where trolls live is not exactly a top spot on supporting our users. As far as these claims about pocketing lost hash rate? huh? excuse me but if the rental lost rate due to the rig, the renter gets refunded an amount based on the lost hash-rate percentage. We have thousands of refunds to prove this. I take pride in my business and tell all my friends and others and even hand out business cards, so I'm not going to take baseless accusations like that lightly.

Better rental service? good luck, since we are the best. Time and again we beat our competitors in all areas, least of which is thousands of hours I put in to support the site and its operation, as well as features, algorithm support etc. Mining, altcoins and everything is a touch racket, and if any thing our continued success shows that we are doing something right. Pretty soon we'll be at our one millionth rental, I doubt any other rig rental service ever had anything as close as that.

The time shouldn't matter if it's 3 hours or 30hours. IF there is a significant loss (I usually have rented hundreds of TH total) it should be refunded.

The lack of response from the company lately in this thread however is troubling.

Any other hash rental places you guys know about that's stable and good?

As mentioned, This form is not used that much. We support our users via our own system, so this post does not become a support thread. Support only threads are no good for any one. And for the record I Was in here recently and posted. Also don't forget that I spent 70+ hours to get Ethereum mining added, and working smoothly. So this of course reduced my time to pay attention here. I'm done quoting, but you seemed to complain further up on page 17, to respond to that all I have to say is this. As the developer of MRR, it lies on me to develop features to my site. It may take a few days to work out bugs in new features, especially when there are different hardware configurations, different miners. To know exactly how to get each to work at the moment of launch is a bit of a hard thing to do, regardless I ironed the issues out; and as I remember I specifically fixed something for you, if you remember - our ticket support system.

I also tried to direct my proxy to yours per your guide and it does not work.
Is it stratum?

Your pool closes the connection.
I'll try and reach out to the pool operator to try  nd diagnose why connection is closed.

to me
Hi,

port is wrong. 8008 is only for stratum.
For getwork please use port 80.

------------------------------
We have sections (S) and (G)
(G) is for getwork. (S) for stratum.
While connecting your rig to MRR makes no difference for each. Sections are for renters to match compatible pools. The pool; stratum connection must match a stratum capable miner. and a getwork miner must mine at a getwork pool.

Problem using an Ethereum rig with the new MRR service.

When I use : C:\Users\admin\Desktop\eth\ethminer.exe --cl-local-work 256 --farm-recheck 200 --cl-global-work 8192 -F http://us-east01.miningrigrentals.com:3333/**username**.**Rig#** -G

It keeps saying can't connect and keeps retrying.
Obviously the **username**.**Rig#** is what I wam given to input on the rig setup page, so I know all that info is right.

The mining rig works fine on my proxy and to other outside pools.

Any ideas?

Try connecting to it again, I enabled debugging on the rig.
Looking at the connection log it appears the pool closes the connection.

Connect it there for some period, like 5 minutes should be enough data.
Also make sure you provided correct login information. Try another server, like us-central or eu-01.
Once I have the data, I may try and reach out to that pool's operator to diagnose the issue.

A Guide to help connect our stratum proxies to yours would be great. TY.

I added a help center article for this https://www.miningrigrentals.com/helpcenter?q=55
I have not tested the config though.

We have added support for Ethereum / dagger-hashimoto

There is the getwork section located here https://www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/hashimotog
This is typically most miners, using ethminer.

and the stratum based here https://www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/hashimotos
qtminer and possibly some other proxies would be created here.

We added both since they were somewhat code compatible one we got one working.
We're looking for more rig owners to list their rigs!

Also, since it is new, we are also looking to hear about any issues encountered with setting up and connecting your ethereum rig.

i rented for 2TH but i only getting around 10-15GH/s. whats happening? what should i do here?

Please open a ticket with support so we can diagnose the issue, or cancel the rental if the rig is not running right.

BE CAREFUL GUYS!

Rented rigs that underperform due to 'RIG' issues are not being credit back from MRR!!

I have rented a bunch over the past week and most are 5-25% below purchased hash rates, and when I start a ticket with their support,
they cite totally BS reasons:

POOL related issues (Yet other rentals at the same time, same service and my own miners are 100%+ on the same pool... Hmmmm..)
The review period of 12 hours has passed.. (Really? The system is supposed to automatically credit back losses, so how did a 25% loss not get credited??)
They claim a below 10% less than purchased hash rate is 'ACCEPTABLE'.. (Since when is a 10% loss acceptable to ANYONE? )

Also my own miners have been hashing about 5-10% slower when pointed to the MRR proxy than going directly to a pool.

IMO they are 'eating' up that 5-10 for their own profits, and are keeping all the losses and credits that are supposed to go back to a renter as pure profit for their
books.

BEWARE!!

ps. They used to be good until about a month or two ago...
Did BETARIGS owners and 'support' take over MRR?Huh They are acting almost the same.

This user requested refunds that were due to pool issues, well after the 12 hour holding period for rentals elapsed. It is stated in our Help center in many places that all rentals must be requested for review within the 12 hour period after the rental ended. We do not have any system to automatically credit back losses, all reviews are manual. We reviewed this persons rental(s) yes more then one and determined that the issues were pool related and not related to the mis-operation of the rig owner.
It's not possible to "eat" any portion of the hashrate pointed to your pool, all hashrate goes to your pool and we have no access to your pool. Any hashrate difference is usually due to there being too much latency between you and your pool destination. This fact is why we allow a 10% deviation. However these factors are out of our or the rig owners control. You assume these risks when you chose to rent a rig with a slim profit margin.

As an example,
-
Clearly ticket was opened 12 hours after the end of the rental. All of his requests were of being late for any additional review, except one which we did credit him for.

Update: The user seems to have issues at other rental service nicehash as well, I don't know if he had rentals at any of the same times as here. But, his posts tells me he does not understand the difficulty of running a rental business.

Just BEWARE of the latest BS MRR is hashing out. They also decided to shut down my rigs being hosted there as an 'FU' to me for stating the facts in here.

Very professional *NOT*.

We have done nothing to your rigs. Please indicate to me what you are referring to?

The homepage is looping and bugged. Is it still used for rentals?

Yeah, indeed its broken ... I prefer NiceHash.com ...

Thanks, I will give it a look.

We have over 1000 rentals a day. We're approaching 625,000 total rentals in just over a third.
Other sites don't give you hashrate graphs like ours, or a hashrate guarantee (limited to rig issues)
70  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: July 09, 2015, 06:52:49 PM
We do refund you for the amount of time that a rig has been offline. We make a best effort to do this without your need for intervention. However if we have not yet completed that for your rental of that rig, please don't hesitate to open a support ticket, and we will be happy to take care of the issue.
Thanks.
