Yes, just send all your coins from old wallet to address of new wallet, and then once the transfer is safely processed you can remove the old wallet.

1) Close Gulden
2) Open your Gulden "Program files" directory in explorer
3) Select "Open command prompt" from the "File menu
4) Type "Gulden.exe -reindex" into the command prompt

With the focus on getting the mobile apps to an acceptable state the full wallet  has taken a temporary back seat - though as you know it saw a lot of work last year. So there are no publicly available full-node updates in the last 2 months.
With android now released focus will switch back to the desktop wallet, so you'll likely see something in the next month or so. While we have a million things we like to do resources are of course always finite so we have to prioritise.

If you copy the address from an other app (e.g. browser) it will appear in the app, after which you can click the "pay address from clipboard" button.

In terms of security - if you set a password (when it asks you at start) it is fully encrypted with that password on the device, backups are also encrypted with a password.
So in this sense it is 100% safe - if someone gains access to the files on your phone this won't give them access to your money without the password.

That said phones are more vulnerable than regular computers, especially if rooted, and under the right circumstances your password could get stolen if the phone is compromised by the right app, so not 100% safe - desktop wallet remains the safer choice for really large sums of money, while phones are great for day to day spending.
Of course if you keep your phone relatively well secured, and don't store lots of dodgy malicious apps, then the above shouldn't happen.
The other weak point is your recovery phrase, if you copy this to the clipboard and it gets compromised then this could also be a source of attack, so if you plan to handle significant funds don't copy it to the clipboard but rather write it down manually.

The above advice aside, it is pretty secure, but common sense etc. applies.

This is going to be my one and only response to the latest attempts by some to stir up the past yet again, using 'marketing' as an excuse to do so.

Anyone with a bit of money can cause a temporary pump in a coins price, it means absolutely nothing and is unsustainable, it is not an accomplishment.

It is really simple, this coin is not interested in generating unsustainable short term pumps - there are 100s of other coins that fill this niche, if this is what you are after kindly go to one of these coins and don't come back this is not the coin for you.
The world does not need yet another coin doing exactly what all the other coins are doing.

Gulden is here for the long term, with the intention of being something different entirely and that requires a completely different approach, either you are happy with what we are doing or you are not.
If you are not happy then feel free to leave, as stated there are plenty of other coins that suit your purposes of unsustainable hype with nothing of substance to back it up.
If you are happy then find a way to help instead of stirring up nonsense on the forum.

I will say that Gulden is where it is now *because* of it's lack of unprofessional hype spam/'marketing' not *in spite of it* - I personally would never be attracted to work on a project that makes undeliverable promises or spreads lies about itself - which is at the end of the day what most other altcoins are doing.
As a professional it is not worth the risk to my name to be involved with that sort of stuff, ever. I'm sure I am not the only professional who feels this way either, its why crypto in general has so few *real* developers involved with it.

There will be marketing when we are ready, make no mistake, but it will be a different sort of marketing with no need to lie, because for once there will be a quality product to back it up.

I did the software development, the graphic design and various other decisions about the interface etc. come from other members of the team though, it takes a team to do this sort of thing right at the end of the day.

No, nor do we want one as we are interested in a project that is sustainable and actually ends up somewhere in the long term.
Not a short term pump followed by a dead coin, which is exactly what hype will bring, if you are looking for a hype coin where you can double your money overnight and then run away then there are already dozens of other coins where you can go to have this requirement met, Gulden is for those looking for something different.

When the time is right, sustainable (not hype) marketing will be done, for now we are happy with the steady growth and progress that the project has had so far.

Not hard at all from our side, provided Nocks are willing to add support for the currency or some other similar service becomes available.
I can't really speak from the Nocks side, but I imagine if such a situation were to arise they could probably also support it relatively easily.

Hi, Android wallet is basically done from a software perspective, but due to some unfortunate timing, schedule clashes and personal life events with various team members we haven't yet managed  to 100% finalise the graphics. As there are so many android devices around it is also a lot more work to ensure it looks and works well on as many of them as possible.
Testing is ongoing and some of the slack community members are already using it to help with this, everything looks good.

We will as you say only release once we are 100% happy rather than release something inferior, it should not be long now though.

Sorry, if you are looking for outright lies disguised as "marketing" with buggy software to back it up, in the name of super fast quick short term profits then I think this is not the coin for you. There are already plenty of other coins that fulfil that wish.

The thing about lies is that in order to keep the 'growth' going the lies have to keep getting bigger and bigger until eventually the whole thing collapses, real world users care about things like whether the software actually works.

Over here we are working hard on making solid software that actually works well, this takes time but we are progressing rapidly, in the medium term this will put us way ahead of all the marketing coins, who will all most likely collapse in short time.
Yes we will need marketing (real marketing not lies) - and there will be marketing - but first you need an actual compelling product to market, our product becomes more and more real and compelling by the day so this is not a problem.

Real, proper sustainable growth takes time, but when it happens it lasts, and if we keep doing what we are it will happen, some patience is required though doing things the proper/right way is always harder and slower.
