Excellent work Dyna! Wish I had your resources back in the day...  Smiley

WE wish we had Dyna's recourses from years ago. Our own PR staff? Nice. Lawyers on staff? Priceless. Top two floors of a Chicago skyscraper? Would be awesome!!

Smokey

Don't forget that it is not where we are now but where we are going from here that matters. By doing many good things others would not do, we will be in the position to do things that others could not do. I seldom worry about not having the resources. Being on the right path will get you the resources.

Yes it takes the right people, product and processes to make it work. If you acquire and surround yourself with the right people all pulling on the rope in the same direction you will go far. The right product which appeals to the masses and can be utilized by many. Processes which when put in place do exactly what they are meant to do to achieve the intended goals.  That is when you will go far and are poised for success.  A shout out to all who are making DNotes successful.  Although there may be struggles along the way if you have the product, people and processes put in place the struggles can be overcome.

Here is what I see right now for the CRISP for Students initial setup and landing page from my end.

When they reach the landing page, they will read about the CRISP for Students program, and at the bottom there will be a form. They will be required to have a DNotesVault.com account before filling out this form. We can ask for their registration email (to send some DNotes to), their name, school, course of study, and a comments field that they can leave a message for the DNotes team.
What else do we want to see on this form?

We can have a table that displays the number of students who have signed up already.
Is there any other statistics?

I believe TeeGee mentioned 500 DNotes for the first 200 students who sign up.
Should we send that as a timed send?
Maybe 100 immediately, and 400 distributed over time. This will ensure 100,000 worth of DNotes isn't going straight to the exchange.
Are we making the requirements pretty loose for the first 200?
After the first 200, we can incorporate a strict system to reduce exploitation.

Regarding where to promote it. Student forums is a great a idea. Eventually, we can reward students for promoting at their school to earn more DNotes. Also, we can directly contact the administration and teachers.

Excellent points DNotes.

I'm in agreement not only on the basis that student's might try to cash in early, and lose their advantage because they wanted some immediate money, but because it also makes sense to withhold some from a marketing perspective. Preventing students from being able to swap / trade their DNotes straight away would mean that they would miss out on all the excitement of watching DNotes develop. Students who have an 'oh, well i'll just grab these and see how we go', would change their attitude to 'WHOA HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE DNOTES!!!!??? - In the last year they launched this and that service, and the value jumped up such and such percentage, it's been my best investment ever... you should get some too!'.

I would also consider reserving some of the DNotes for future users - perhaps drop the awarded amount in line with appreciation in value against bitcoin or the USD? The main point I'd like to drive home is that the USD is not the currency of the future, that DNotes is, and that they should forget what things are worth in USD, because in 5 years they will only need their DNotes. Step by step, and with each new CRISP and DnotesVault feature, these students will begin to believe in DNotes mission and the capability for the team to achieve it. I can envision applications, shops and services provided by third parties within 18 months on the DNotes infrastructure, which will further accelerate adoption.

Up coming Press Release:

As a result of our community’s efforts, it has inspired us to issue a press release to be published sometime next week. This will be the most widely distributed press release and expected to be well received by the mainstream media. Next week will be quite exciting. Be sure to visit this forum often and participate when you can. We also encourage our student supporters to offer TeeGee as much help as possible. We are fortunate to have his leadership as the Director of CRISP For Students. He works hard to pay for his schooling and contributed in many ways to the success of DNotes. We all appreciate that very much, TeeGee.

I'm very interested in ascertaining help from the community / cunning students in infiltrating Facebook and other social media groups and perhaps copy and pasting a pre-written pitch for DNotes that I will write myself and get checked off by DYNA. I also think an Infographic that advertises the launch along with the most crucial and succinct message that we are trying to push incorporated into it - which I'm sure I can get a really good friend to do at a low cost, and I would like to fund myself since he will probably only want NZ dollars. I will however gift him DNotes too, and watch his excitement as his Notes do their thing.

I personally believe that there are people out there termed 'mavens', who have an inordinate amount of social influence on the large network of friends and followers they tend to have. These are the types of people I would like to get DNotes into the hands of, and I'm sure we all know a maven - that friend who gets along with everybody really well, has a large network of friends, and the friend people often emulate the behaviour and style of. Mavens set trends, and if you know a maven, I think getting DNotes into their hands could be the best thing for this coin. The advantage is, is that DNotes can continue to fly under the radar a little while longer while these 'mavens' hold onto their DNotes. They may or may not be excited about holding onto them, but sure enough within a year I'm pretty sure they will be! I would hope that this timeline would allow these 'trend-setters' to exert their influence, at the 'perfect time' when the DNotes team decide to protrude from their shell and push a PR campaign that will encourage mass adoption, and fly under the radar no more.

I'm interested in hearing people's thoughts anyway. I'm sure anybody who went to university and school will remember that there were mavens or 'cool kids' that everybody copied. Let's bring them to crypto!

From Wikipedia

"Malcolm Gladwell used the term (Mavens) in his book The Tipping Point (Little Brown, 2000) to describe those who are intense gatherers of information and impressions, and so are often the first to pick up on new or nascent trends. The popularity of the work of Safire and Gladwell has made the word widely used in their particular contexts. Gladwell also suggests that mavens may act most effectively when in collaboration with social influencers - i.e., those people who have wide network of casual acquaintances by whom they are trusted, often a network that crosses many social boundaries and groups.

In network theory and sociology, a maven is someone who has a disproportionate influence on other members of the network.[citation needed] The role of mavens in propagating knowledge and preferences has been established in various domains, from politics to social trends"

I also like using CRISP instead of CR.I.S.P. This is a very cool community in that, none of us know each other, but our shared interest in crypto has meant that we have met online and are now working towards common goals. It also turns out that there seems to be a lot of talented people in this community. Maybe that is because so many people in crypto are the 'early adopter' mavens that I just talked about?

I was waiting for someone to comment on the realization that this community and people working to make this happen did not and do not really know each other except for this task at hand.  There are a few of the originals that do know each other but so many now have come on board with the same goals in mind.  What a great common goal that all are like minded to make DNotes something that can be trusted and used as a means of currency in an easy manner.  All the CRISP programs will truly be of financial security to so many who can understand the end results which are trying to be accomplished.  This is not a currency for the pump and dumpers but rather a currency for those who are trying to be financially responsible.  The shared interest working towards great common goals says so much!  Keep up the great work and I am proud to be a part of this!!

This is looking good. May I suggest that this stats box should appear on the landing page for all the funds with figures for that particular fund.

CR.I.S.P. for Retirement Statistics
Funded Retirement Accounts   111
Principal Deposit Value   14,480.18 USD
Total Interest Payments   0 NOTE
Current USD Value   27,968.15 USD
Current DNotes   1,529,301 NOTE
Retirement Fund Bonus Balance   1,000,000 NOTE

It is looking good, almost up to double the principal investment.

Do you mean on the regular dashboard?

I was thinking of the actual landing page for those not yet fully decided to engage. It helps people to make a commitment if they see others doing so and the growing number of depositors shows that...

Are the numbers linked to change accordingly as the amounts change?  If so, I would think between the words retirement and statistics the word "current" should be included.  Just a thought..

Hello to all,

I am impressed,Dnotes is unbeatable.

Such a mess on polo, that looks like we are growing.

Congrats to this huge awesome community.

If we all do some invest in us and our kids,we all can have nice future.

For me Dnotes is No.1 money investment project in 2014.years

Very impressive volume at Polo and DNotes has been holding up well. Looks like someone has been trying to give DNotes a stress test. Expect wider trading range.

Yes, at one stage it said a daily trading volume of 104 BTC! That is some serious stress that will definitely cause a wider trading range if it continues. It will be interesting to watch over the next few days - if this is the work of a couple players who are testing the resolve of the market to not push beyond 4200 resistance, then it merely takes the party interested in keeping up combative selling pressure to take their foot off the gas, and we could see a movement.

The great thing about this community is the total absence of "to the moon" mentality and discussion of the current DNotes price at the exchange. This is because we all know it is significantly undervalued, and its current price need not concern us until we achieve our infrastructure development goals that we think must be in place before we really make a push to become the currency of the future.

Great work getting us onto the voting list of Cryptsy, i'll go and vote there soon Smiley

I've enjoyed the excitement in the aftermath of RJF and the founding teams seamless launch of CRISP for retirement, I mean just look at how many more forum posts we are getting, and we had almost 7 thousand forum views last week...*eyes fixed on CRISP for students now*

I totally agree with and like the fact this is not a "to the moon" currency!  Just makes me nuts when I see that in a trollbox or in discussions.  Makes me believe the "to the mooners" are young people feeling entitled. Hard work and achieving the goals for long term are what excites me.  Maybe I am one that just wants to "go up town" and not "to the moon".  If I wanted to go to the moon I would have already purchased my ticket from Richard Branson!

Here is the 1st draft of the post I have been working on. It turned out to be more challening than I anticipated. You are welcome to PM me with edit, rewrite and comments, including an improved headline. The final copy will be issued as a press release. Enjoy.

Trust is Central to the Success of Bitcoin - A Trustless Decentralized System

Bitcoin is often described as a decentralized peer-to-peer trustless payment consensus network without the participation of central authority or middlemen. The elegant design of Bitcoin to enable trustless transactions is a technology breakthrough and hence the term “trustless” has been heavily promoted; possibly over hyped.

In order to avoid confusion, making it easier for laypersons to understand, we have purposely worded the description of DNotes  differently: “DNotes is a Bitcoin alternative cryptographically created digital currency based on a novel decentralized peer to peer model, where trust is replaced by mathematical algorithms, eliminating the need of an intermediary such as a bank or an automatic clearing house.”

As time goes on, it is becoming apparent that the word “trustless’ is misunderstood and over used in our industry. It is ironic that in an industry that promotes “trustless” or the unnecessary need for a trusted third party is becoming the least trustworthy space we have ever encountered. It is even more troubling to observe that it has become a costly public relation nightmare that may be difficult to correct, resulting in a delay in mass acceptance of digital currency.

The root cause of the confusion is due to the lack of understanding as to what it takes to make Bitcoin a disruptive technology. To begin with we must understand that there are two distinctive components that must work well together to be potently disruptive; a technology component and a human component.

The technology component is well understood. Bitcoin is a cryptographically created digital currency using the Bitcoin protocol, and recorded in the blockchain, an Inter-wide distributed public ledger verifiable by anyone, anywhere with internet connection. The trustless feature is limited to the transfer of digital properties between two parties. Once an additional party is involved, the integrity of the trustless feature is compromised and may not be trustworthy any longer.

The human component that has caused the industry much grief is the result of the serious misunderstanding of the trustless feature that has been over hyped. Strictly speaking, any human intervention voids the pure concept of decentralization and the trustless feature. The line may be blurred at times whether trust and integrity must triumph, when in practical terms you constantly oscillate between both the trustless technology component and the trusted human component.

Until our industry is ready for a cultural change from one of an over dependence on pure decentralization and  “trustless” power to one of trust and in integrity designed to take full advantage of the innovative decentralized trustless system, we may all be in for a long struggle before mass acceptance of digital currency becomes a reality.

I agree that using the word "trustless" is a mistake.  It is not a common word and is one that should be used with caution.  Perhaps including the meaning or definition of the word would help in defining what it actually means. When I first read the word I actually confused it with a "trust" for which you place your worldly possessions for the next generation. I read it this way because we are talking finances.  Am I the only one who confused this with a derivative of the word "trust" for which you set up for your kids so that your wishes once you are gone are carried out as far as your possessions and hopefully tons of cash?  Perhaps I was thinking this because we have just helped an elderly friend set up a "trust".  The word trustless comes from circa 1530 and I assume that "trusts" were not yet even thought of thus the word only had one meaning.  The word did not resinate for which the article was because of thinking of the different meaning.  I truly don't want my kids and grandkids to be "trustless" when I die... lol  Just a thought.

Just want to shout out to RJF I certainly hope you had a great Birthday and am excited for the Retirement program being implemented.  Congrats and I know you can and will do a terrific job promoting it.  Also congrats to all who are making the newsworthy posts.  This will surely get DNotes the much deserved attention needed to get the word out that DNotes is a viable currency worth taking a look at and investing in.  Again congrats to all the developers, your hard work and determination to present this to the world is outstanding!

What major issues with the existing financial system can DNotes solve?

Half of the world's population does not have banking access and is therefore excluded from participating in economic growth.

Edit - DNotes can also help address all the other issues faced by people without banking access in the following article...

That is a big one for sure. There are many initiatives to provide people everywhere in the world access to computers and internet, it will be nice if we can help the cause with DNotes.

What technologies are most important to the future and success of DNotes?

What major issues with the existing financial system can DNotes solve?

1) Micro transactions, under $1 are not feasible. The transaction fees make micro transactions unprofitable if not impossible.

What services are most important to the future and success of DNotes?

1) Direct and simple fiat to DNotes exchange.

What major obstacles does DNotes face to achieve success?

1) Half of the world's population does not have banking access and is therefore excluded from participating in economic growth.

Obstacle - Combating and rising above the bad reputation bitcoin has (whether it is deserved or not).

Seems like when ever anyone is accused of something the old saying "innocent until proven guilty" is never the case. Once the accusation is out there the mentality is "if he/she is accused of it they did it".  It is unfortunate that this mentality seems to cross the lines into ALL in the industry. Positive PR is lacking across the board as well. Just look at our media, if it is a bad story or if something happened that was bad that gets the headline.  It is not the story of someone doing something wonderful.  That story gets buried deep into the broadcast or print. That is a huge problem with our media today and has been for quite some time. Just look at how Bitcoin and the likes are presented. The negative is presented rather than the positive. The headlines you see are how some scam coin ripped someone off, not that DNotes is working to make retirement, education and lives better. It is high time the positives start making the headlines! Just think what society would be like if the media stopped promoting "the bad" and started promoting "the good".

dnotespool down for hours  Undecided everything ok?

Everything is fine and DNotes price has been holding up well, though there appears to be a lot of weeding out in our industry.

Yes there seems to be a lot of talk about the weeding out, disappearance and dropping off of "bad coins". I think the "pump and dump" coins are going to drop off one by one leaving the coins which are truly backed by honest coins which have developers with integrity .  This makes me so very happy to have the DNotes team behind this coin.  Please keep up the good work and great new programs which have been discussed along the way.  These can only help in achieving the ultimate long term goals by achieving the short term goals.

Very interesting article, shows that DNotes is on the right track. Maybe Bill Gates can be the first big purchaser of Notes for charity?

Just had another session / gander at student finance situations and various strategies companies use to encourage brand loyalty. I'll be first to admit that I'm no fan of Apple, but damn they understand that the students buying their products today will be loyal customers in the future - as any seller should think if they believe in their product.

DNotes’ core mission is to be the currency of the future and the currency of choice in conducting global commerce. This mission has been echoed repeatedly in this forum from the very beginning pages. To accomplish our core mission, we must consistently build a solid foundation with a solid growth path projecting way into the future, deliberately involving and engaging our future generations. It must be built upon a mindset of wanting to be the best in class, doing things that others won't or can't do and guided by the highest respect for trust and integrity as an integral part the DNotes' culture, philosophies and believe system. This will create the most favorable environment for DNotes to thrive and continue to be the most stable digital currency with reliable long term appreciation. I am certain that is the currency Bill Gates had in mind.

We have plenty of hard work ahead. We are not yet ready to go prime time and rather not sell ourselves short by selling early. DNotes will be discovered. This is the phrase of positioning so that once discovered we have the infrastructure to scale up quickly. Every CR.I.S.P. is a giant by itself. Grow and take each and every one of them all the way.  That is the answer to mass consumer and merchant adoption coupled with the ideal currency Bill Gates was thinking of. Without that currency our industry will continue to spin its wheels for a very long time. Neither our industry, nor DNotes is lacking in technologies. It is currency ... Wink Wink Wink

This goes right along with the old saying "All good things come to those who wait"!  That is the problem with society.  People in general want what they want and they want it NOW.  It does something to you to work for something for a pay off at the end, not to have something right now.  Gives you a feeling of accomplishment, that you worked hard and for a while for something rewarding in the end.  Just think of when you purchased your first car and made those payments and the feeling you had when that last payment was made.  Perhaps you went out for a dinner to celebrate.  Now that was an accomplishment and that day of pay-off made you feel great.  I so remember the day I paid for my first car... a 1970 Ford Maverick that had more bondo than steel.  Yes it was a piece of crap but it was my piece of crap and it was paid for.  Couple years later bought a much better car but did not have all the money, so I borrowed from my grandparents.  Every Friday on pay day I would go to their house and make my payment and the feeling of accomplishment when I paid them off that last Friday was amazing.  I waited to upgrade until I knew I could make the payments and was ready and knew what I could handle.  Just like Dyna stated "Without that currency our industry will continue to spin its wheels". Sorry but Bill Gates did not get to where he is today without an entire host of other individuals.  People along the way helped him to develop what he is credited with developing.  It takes a team and time to get to where you want and need to be.  Just like when I purchased my first couple cars, I did not go it alone nor did it happen overnight!  Congrats to the team and forward thinking to get to where we all want to be!

Very nice to see that positions are being established for heading up the different programs.  Much needed in my opinion. The ship cannot sail unless it has a captain.  Feeling more and more confident each and every day with my decision to board the ship of DNotes.  You guys are great and make it very easy and comfortable for me to be on board with all decisions being made moving forward.  I feel I am very lucky to be a part of DNotes when cruising around looking at other crypto currencies.  It still boggles my mind that folks will get into the pump and dumps.  Seriously!!  Watching others talk about "pump it up" and "to the moon" just makes me want to scream, cause they just don't get it.  Thanks DNotes team, I appreciate all your hard work and strategic forward thinking.

I do have one question which please do not take the wrong way, but would be nice to know. What happens, god forbid, if a senior member of DNotes is hurt or dies somehow? Are there personnel backups in place that have full access to the DNotes Vault and such? Thanks!

Hi mafort1469, great question. We do have multiple redundancy in separate locations (in three separate states in the U.S.). We take protecting the individuals using the vault very seriously.

This is a great question but I already knew the answer... that is one reason why I went with DNotes.  The care which has been established to make certain my investment is protected is very comforting!  In watching other currencies doing the "pump and dump" scheme it can be un-nerving to say the least.  DNotes however, has not shown that trend.  That in itself makes me comfortable that the developers are doing everything right in promoting and protecting DNotes to be a stable currency.  It is time to rid the markets of the schemers and with more people getting involved and truly understanding crypto currency I believe the markets will rid themselves of the bad eggs.  DNotes has stayed stable even through what is going on with Bitcoin itself, that also tells me it is a stable currency.  Here is to another great year for DNotes!!!
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - DNotesVault Now Open for Registration! on: January 17, 2015, 06:41:59 AM
Bitcoin has lost over 80% of its value from its peak at around $1,200 it reached just a little over a year ago. The most recent drop of over 30% from $300 to $200 is quite definitely sucking a lot of energy out of our industry resulting in high anxiety and much worry. For whatever it's worth let me give you my take, hopefully it brings a little comfort.

I always look at things from a somewhat different prospective or, more accurately, from many different prospective, often using a system approach, allowing me to look closely at all the different components that are inter-connected to form the main system. In addition, I have found it helpful to utilize multi-discipline model; economic, financial, and behavioral model. I am not going to bore you with details. However, I will share two conclusions with you that may shade a little light, hopefully along with some comfort.

Herd mentality is a very powerful force in human behavior both negatively and positively. Herd mentality is always emotionally charged, spontaneous and never objective. It has a very high tendency to end in either extremely of the spectrum, with a period of adjustment once the dust settled. As much as Bitcoin was over-valued at $1,200, I am certain that it is under-valued at $200 due to herd mentality at play.

My second observation is a little more complex but explain why our industry has been spinning its wheels and difficult to establish an objective valuation. I often refer to the phenomena as “build and destroy”. In a highly productive environment, once a baseline is established, it is quite easy to account for incremental value added to the baseline. Using DNotes as an example, a productive and healthy growth path will constantly add value over a given period of time. This gives the planners the confidence to project a reliable long term value appreciation path. It is more in tune with publicly traded company with solid fundamentals and healthy growth potential. The entity becomes more and more valuable over time.

Our industry in general has been both productive and destructive. As a group we “build and destroy”. We know for a fact that a lot of value has been added in just 2014 alone. Close to $400 million was invested by VCs (venture capital). Together with time and money from the rest of us along with all the new technologies and infrastructures added last year alone, our industry as a whole should be worth a lot more today and it was a year ago. It probably should be, and hence undervalued. However, here is the problem. Our industry has also been rather destructive and that negative value is nearly impossible to account for. One can argue that this holds true with every industry at it formative stage. That is true, but never to this extremely.

Personally, I believe that there are many great people in our industry, including a lot of very smart individuals.  We all have our strengths and weaknesses. It may be time for more of us to come together and be much more productive this year than 2014. This is our invitation to others who share our values and vision that as much as this technology revolution, we are already a part of, may be disruptive, but it does not have to be destructive. That will be the best for our generation and many more to come. It is with such inspiration and vision that DNotes core mission is founded.

Wow. What an explanation! You certainly have a way with being able to explain things in simple concepts. Even after being your student for over ten years, I am still learning......

Sincerly,
Grasshopper

You are so right about the "Herd" mentality!  We see it time and time again.  See a large group of people trying to get into a building and you most generally will follow them even if they do not know where they are going but you will follow assuming they do only to get there and it was the door you all just passed.  We tend to rely on others in the "Herd" to show us the way.  So very glad that DNotes is not one in the "Herd" but rather the one that is paving the way in a real and honest way.  They know where the door is and know how to get there and in the building... just sayin'!

How did DNotes perform this year?

From the top 50 on CoinMarketCap, there are 24 other currencies that have been around as long, or longer, than DNotes.  I calculated how much your investment would be worth if $100 was put into any one of these coins on March 8, 2014 (the day DNotes was listed on CoinMarketcap).  Here is what I found out:

DNotes              $2,497
BlackCoin               845
Pandacoin              211
Darkcoin                210
Ripple                   163
Counterparty          114

The other 16 currencies are spread out between $5 and $48 and were so depressing to look at, I didn't want to list them!!  I know that normally you would look at a much longer time frame before getting excited, but this is crypto and there isn't a long history yet.  Plus, what a nice way to ring in the new year!  Smiley
Great list can I use this info for my new year DNOTES BLOG POST? I got a lot of family cooking to do tomorrow but want to do a DNOTES new year post in few days..

ALSO congrats to all the DNOTES BABIES popping out.. May all the DNOTES FAM be healthy and happy and prosperous in the coming year..

Very good, Qiwoman. Happy New Year to you, family and friends and everyone else! Plenty going today. See you next year.

Well Holy Guacamole.. I guess I made a very smart choice.  May have taken my time and waited a little too long but have made the right choice in DNotes.  Never too late to get hooked to the right train!  My caboose is wagging with excitement!  Here is to a great year for DNotes and everyone involved!!  Happy New Year one and all!!

wow some people just want to come on here and fud if you need info and are upset about something contact devs with a private message as I have in the past if I had a major concern don't spread FUD here thanks .....this community has been here for almost a year now and we have had a breath of fresh air away from people trying to make something good into something bad... Thanks Kold678

I am right there with you Kold678.  The message boards for DNotes has been on the up and up ever since I have been researching on which coin to put my trust and money.  So many other message boards contain so much FUD that I did not want to get into all that.  I am not one for confrontation, arguing, and a perception of mistrust.  I want people to be honest and up front with me and when I too had questions I went right to the source, the developers and everything they have told me along the way has been exactly correct.  By nature I am a skeptical person and believe me when I researched they, not one time, made me feel like I was getting the wool pulled over my eyes and have also backed that up by telling me something was going to happen.... and it did.  I too do not want to see negativity for something so positive.  I am in this for the long haul and if you knew me you would know that I am not one to jump into ANYTHING.  Do the research and you will know you are in very good hands with people that are trustworthy and that means a lot!

Looking solid.

Looking VERY solid.  I am so very happy that I decided on DNotes.  Thank goodness I did my research and chose the right path for my grandkids.  Cannot wait to see what the future holds for DNotes moving forward.

Here are some interesting quotes I found on the Overstock.com Bitcoin page. http://www.overstock.com/bitcoin?keywords=bitcoin&searchtype=Header

"I'm a big fan of Bitcoin … Regulation of money supply needs to be depoliticized."
-Al Gore, Former US Vice President and Winner of Nobel Peace Prize

"You want money to be based on something that no government mandarin can wish into existence with the stroke of a pen."
-Patrick Byrne,Overstock.com CEO

"Bitcoin is a technological tour de force."
-Bill Gates, Microsoft Co-Founder

"I think the Internet is going to be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government. The one thing that's missing, but that will soon be developed, is a reliable e-cash."
-Milton Friedman, Winner of Nobel Prize in Economics

"We have elected to put our money and faith in a mathematical framework that is free of politics and human error."
-Tyler Winklevoss, Facebook Forerunner

"Every informed person needs to know about Bitcoin because it might be one of the world's most important developments."
-Leon Louw, Nobel Peace Prize Nominee

Very good quotes...

Those are great quote from well regarded visionaries and people of great philosophical persuasion. I am still trying to catch up after being out of town for a day. I will briefly comments on two of them:

"I think the Internet is going to be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government. The one thing that's missing, but that will soon be developed, is a reliable e-cash."
-Milton Friedman, Winner of Nobel Prize in Economics

Friedman has been described by The Economist as “the most influential economist of the second half of the 20th century…possibly of all of it” according to Fobes. He is one of my favorite economists with significant influence on my economic views. Bitcoin is a reliable e-cash with a high volatility problem. Oops! May be Bitcoin is not that reliable e-cash.

As an alternative Bitcoin, DNotes is committed to minimize or solve the problem of volatility. High volatility has been and will continue to be the biggest challenge confronting mass consumer and merchant adoption of digital currency any time soon. No other currency takes stability more seriously than DNotes. We believe it takes a system approach and a deep understand of all the inter-related components, powered by a twin engine; the currency and the blockchain.

It takes many strategic building blocks to accomplish our mission. To get a really good understand of our mission and strategic path, you almost have to start from the day of our launch or page 1 of DNotes forum. Well, low page count could have an advantage, after all.

"Every informed person needs to know about Bitcoin because it might be one of the world's most important developments."
-Leon Louw, Nobel Peace Prize Nominee

Leon is a well regarded intellectual and the executive director and cofounder of the Free Market Foundation. I agree that every one should stay informed on the rapidly evolving developments in the Bitcoin space. I would take it one step further, to say that this will be the greatest technology revolution we have seen. It will be more disruptive than anything we have known. We can continue to ignore it, try to block it or participate in it early to gain the full first mover advantage. I am all in.

"Reliable e-cash" as one quote states is what I am banking on (pardon the pun) for the DNotes I reserved for my grandkids.  I think the cryptomoms site is great as well for women to get involved.  Seems like this is another thing that has begun with the "man" and the "woman" need to get involved as we move forward with the digital currency.  As the push strengthens and awareness becomes more wide spread all men and women are going to realize this is more secure than any other type of currency we have ever experienced.  Just glad that sugar is not a currency any longer as I would be broke trading for it all the time, you know us grandma's we just gotta bake!!  I am so very happy to be a part of the DNotes family as I see what the developers are doing to make things very secure, secure today and for the future.  Thanks for thinking well outside the box on security measures and keep up the great work you are doing for us ALL!
