Hey folks, Anyone know how to contact the owners of freecrypto.co? They run a handful of faucets (mostly Altcoins but also BTC and LTC) and along with the faucets they also have a scheme of getting a lifetime multiplier on your faucet rewards. I hate seeing faucets go away so I usually donate. But in this case, I puirchased a few of their multipliers. Each transaction worked fine when I used a debit card. For the Doge faucet I paid in BTC. The payment page is supposed to refresh when the payment is confirmed. It wont confirm and there is no way to contact them on any of their many sites. Since this is a great gathering of people who know how to get in touch with various people running altcoin services I figured I would ask here. Thanks in advance. (BTW, they have a great collection of faucets. And their multipliers are a nice way to help fund the faucet while also getting something in return) PS: I have opened the Doge Faucet in a new page and tested my address and the multiplier is not activated for my address (the address I paid for a multiplier for). So, transaction wont confirm on their end (prob bc they are using blocks.io), Transaction is confirmed through btc blockchain, and multiplier wont apply to address referenced in transaction, and none of their sites have contact options, WHOIS is protected by Domains By Proxy and Cloudflare. I dont want to fire up by Kali box for $5 worth of BTC...but I certainly am tempted. -DMS Transaction: https://blockchain.info/address/3NpC5QtXZiC9KLmpjTV9hza3Fb6YJtJGAJScreen grab showing the requested amount and destination address ->

I havent been on the forum in a while and Im glad I stopped by. Otherwise I wouldnt have found this thread and the site. I agree with others that the community desperately needs a strong, well built, user-friendly auction and selling platform.
When I get some more time I am going to browse through and see if I can purchase something. I did notice a few of the prices were really good. For example, a Wolfenstein: The New Order download key for PS3 for $16! Unfortunately Im looking for it on PC but thats still an awesome price. Will post additional thoughts here after I fully use the site.

Thanks for posting the actual addresses. Due to laws and regulations people in the US cant access the site without going through a proxy. So, anyone who wants to play often in the US I suggest copying and adding these addresses to your wallet's address book.

Since I made the original post below, CJS Cd Keys has 1) Addressed my problem and solved it 2) Changed the process in which they accept BTC and make your order/key available for pick-up in your account This forum works wonders. Any problems that I have had with retailers are always solved right after creating a thread here. Its not coincidence. All of them were posts made a while after all attempts to contact the sellers had failed. Coinabul finally shipped my coins within 24 hours of creating a post...an order that I had paid for 5 months prior. ...........Original Post............ Hey all, I just wanted to share my experience attempting to use Bitcoin on CJS CD Keys. [cjs-cdkeys.com] CJS advertises a random mystery Steam game key (and countless other games) for a fairly low price. Since this was only going to be around $5 USD I figured it would be fun to try. If it worked, I would have a place to shop and a fun new way of sort-of gambling CJS uses Bitpay like many other online retailers accepting Bitcoin. However, the process they implement is complicated, flawed, and I can now receive no response from their Customer Service/Zendesk application. When you try to check out it creates a Bitpay invoice. You scan the QR code and pay. Then, I thought I would be receiving my Steam key. But that is not what happens. After they take your BTC they then forward you to a page taht tells you that you have to re-add the item that you want to your cart and then select "store credit" to pay for the order. They essentially use the Bitpay transaction to credit your account...and NOT for the actual transaction. See where this is going? Nothing is attached to the transaction. Bad idea #1Transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/d7b7537fa3d72eac32ecaf317daa9919412235c1743ec7022f444bd53cdd098bHere comes Bad idea #2: Naturally, the option to select "store credit" does not appear when I follow their instructions. There is no place on "My account" that shows an available balance. Since BTC transactions can take some time to be reflected I waited... Bad Idea #3: ZenDesk. This is the only way to contact them. Unfortunately, you "encouraged" to enter an order number so that they can help you. And if you dont enter an order #, well, that just may make it impossible. Guess what? There is no order number! You havent placed an order yet. You have only sent them BTC and now they are gone. Bad Idea #4 ZenDesk ticket: I created a ticket and waited a few days. I periodically checked the site and tried to place the order. "Store Credit" option still never appears Bad Idea #5 ZenDesk ticket expiration: I get an email from the ZenDesk account of CJS Cd Keys. It seems that the ticket has expired with no solution. But luckily, they consider it resolved!! And they consider it resolved because they DID NOT attend to it. Awkward. They encourage me to submit another ticket if it wasnt resolved and that I must include my "Order Number". [facepalm.jpg] There is no order!! I try to enter the Bitpay/BTC transaction ID and it will not accept it. Just awesome Solution: DO NOT try to pay with BTC/LTC/DOGE at CJS CD Keys (cjs-cdkeys.com) Matter of fact, I would go as far to say that you probably shouldnt order from them at all. If they couldnt take a few minutes to contact me over this extraordinarily odd procedure they have created then I have to imagine that this is how they handle all problems. Even a quick message back that said, "Be patient, we are looking into it" wouldve at least allowed me to give them the benefit of the doubt. Heck, even if they completely lost the transaction, and were honest about it, I would try it again. Seriously, I dont care all taht much about 0.006 BTC...Ive gambled away a hundred times that on a single Satoshi Dice roll. But what bothers me is 1) having a bad system and 2) ignoring people after theyve sent you money. Stay away -DMS

Hey folks, Just a heads up, I listed my 7950 from my gaming rig on Amazon. Its in great shape and it was run at the stock factory OC of 960mhz. Although card was tested and can go to 1040mhz no problem, I never ran it at that clock because I thought I was going to be keeping it an awfule long time. And instead, I decided to buy an r9 290 vapor-x. It comes with a free game from AMD's Never Settle bundle. I got 3 games free with the purchase of my new card so I am attaching one to this sale. Mines listed for $190 and it should be the second one down the list. Its the one with pictures and under username "D_M_Stewart" http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B007NG3WR2/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=usedAny questions or concerns feel free to give a shout. -D

LTCRabbit X11 mining - 40% less energyMining LTC gets harder and harder for GPU miners, since specialized mining hardware (ASIC miner) are strongly increasing difficulty. To support our GPU miners, we introduced X11 algorithm mining. Only thing you have to do is to use the special X11 mining software and connect to x11.ltcrabbit.com:4444. Your rig will run with 40% less energy and significantly less heat. We automatically exchange the mined X11 coins to LTC and you get paid comfortably in LTC. Mining X11 is not always more profitable than scrypt, but the advantage of low energy consumption increases your overall profit. Get started here: https://www.ltcrabbit.com/index.php?page=x11 I just fired up the x11 sgminer from your site nad I was wondering if the section below the stats (on my home page) are correct. It seems that right now my average is way too high for LTC for 24, 7 day, and 1 month estimates. It says that that is the estimate in LTC but is that actually the estimate for x11? Since I am only running a single 7950 on this rig, the numbers just dont jibe. If they are correct I can quit my part time job

Of course its scam what do you think when you read this 5. What if you do not have money to pay? This is impossible. 6. Why is this impossible? Consider it to be Bitcoin magic. Well, that is what I specifically cited in my initial post. A lot of similar sites tried to be "transparent" by claiming they had certain investments or were mining as well so that they could cover any possible losses. But real miners were able to point out that the numbers the site owners eventually quoted (when pushed) didnt even add up. So, rather than get into that situation, the Satoshi Hype owners didnt even try to get creative with a lie and instead just went totally ridiculous. The argument that one of the newcomers made to me is that it would be plausible that the site owners, in an attempt to make a site and name popular in a fast growing community, would actually pay for that type of reputation. Since there are very few ways to run a mainstream advert campaign that is related to cryptos, this could be an option; it would be a stretch but it could still be a viable option or plan for an aggressive ad campaign.

Update: Within 24 hours of posting this the remaining balance, with interest, was paid to my account from Satoshi Hype in a single transaction. If the payments were not interrupted, and had resumed as normal, the remainder of what was owed to me shouldve came in to my wallet in multiple transactions and not the single transaction they made to my wallet. **Later I will post the link to that transaction when I return to my home computer. I do not have access to my wallet on my laptop right now but I did want to let the forum know of the update ASAP UPDATE @ 2:35 pm EST As promised, here is the finalk transaction from Satoshi Dice made +24 hours after this post and more than 2 days of non-payment, even though the repayment had been originally initiated. https://blockchain.info/tx/ebad90ca2f5503290a44e2f28aa571e2332b845665b63dc4ef301afef17160a7What is odd is that it looks as if I incurred the transaction fee (a fairly high transaction fee). So, in the end, it means I still DID NOT receive all of what I sent them nor did I "earn" any return % (they quote additional 44%) So, either its a scam. Or if it was set up to auto-pay and absolutely return the percentages tehy quoted, then that is broken/non-working. My advice is to stay away. And like I said in my initial post if you want to grow your BTC then you may want to look at loaning them at sites like btcjam Peace -D

The newbie "BTCinvest" and his HYIP SCAM scheme is none other than "TheGambler" who is a known scammer. Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=152722Here is the first thread by "BTCinvest", where I called it out as a scam and suggested if legit send 10 BTC to a legit escrow. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=584522.msg6394772#msg6394772This user DID EXACTLY what TheGambler did when he scammed, he moved his topic to a local thread where NO ONE would see it. TheGambler guaranteed returns from dicing, an always -EV proposition and ran with ~1 BTC in peoples' monies. Ironically, the Gambler commented on BTCInvest's post and said "oh I'll def join this (here is his post on that topic which was unmoderated and BTCInvest locked and moved to local section): "I'm reading through your site and no doubt it looks intriguing... I might give the 1 week a shot with about .5BTC and see how I go maybe later tomorrow. I've seen your loans on bitbond so I already know your trust worthy there but hopefully you can prove the same here and with your site." I am 99% sure, that BTCinvest is none other then the scammer "TheGambler". For one, whoever BTCinvest is, he guarantees returns that are impossible to occur even through arbitrage trading. A daily return of 35% is impossible, if possible we'd all be millionaires and inflation would be through the roof. AVOID THEGAMBLER AND BTCINVEST. A quick search tells us a few things. First, the phone number registered with btcinvest.com is also tied to over scam accusations. Lets just use a quick network-tools search: http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=express&host=btcinvest.comNotice the phone number of 4252740657Well, a google search brings up a few things. First, the trace route craps out in Washington state and returns blank responses. That is because the domain owner chose to have a private registration. But, the phone number is from Washington state. Google search of the number: https://www.google.com/search?q=4252740657&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=rcsWe find an SEO company on Ripoff Report with a very unhappy customer. The owner, "Todd", responds. Take note of his writing style. Samples can be compared and there are various online resources that will confirm if if writing samples are done by the same person. Link to RipOff Report: http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/web-host-for-seo/bellevue-washington-98007/web-host-for-seo-webhostforseocom-by-todd-spears-total-junk-massive-amounts-of-downtim-391035The same phone number is also linked to other businesses in the Washington area. **Caution** - On phone numbers registered with sites. Sometimes it is given as part of the identity protection and only goes back to the company registering the domain name and is not the number of the actual customer. For example, this one might be registered with protecteddomainservices.com. But if you are asking for people to invest, why are you protecting your identity and phone number? Here is my train of thought. As a business owner, hasnt the owner of the number ever googled it? Furthermore, wouldnt the owner of btcinvest.com google it and immediately register a different number since this number was already tied to scam accusations? If we call the number listed, do we get the office of BTCInvest.com? If we dont, why not? What I find interesting is that when you pay for hosting (or domain registration) with a credit card, many times they ask you for the phone number that is associated with the card. Of course, they cant really tell if that is the number the credit card company has on file but most people dont know this and submit their number thinking it will ensure the transaction going through without error. But it gets better. The reason why "Todd's" response to Ripoff report seems like the actual scammer (whether they are tied to btcinvest.com or not) is that he starts making references out of nowhere about Australia and blaming it on another company that is most likely (in his opinion) from that area. Well, thats odd. But it proves that someone has been googling that phone number! Because in the same google search a user complaining on WhoCallsMe.com gets a response in their complaint and the person getting scammed is from New Zealand. "Todd's" reference to the Australia is what we call in criminal profiling as the "just-off-the-mark admission". Sometimes a suspect will tell police a proximity of a crime scene, or nearly where key evidence may be found. Now, they arent really lucky in their guess. But as a snub to the people tracking them, they want to be able to tease them. Its a passive provocation; something they enjoy. I guarantee it would only take a little bit of time investigating this, following a couple of simple leads, to find out who the user really is. Many times, even with google dorks (sometimes incorrectrly called "google hacks") you can get info about users that they never wouldve expected anyone to find. I've just finished an extensive investigation of an internet serial stalker/harasser and it took some time, but we were able to ID the person and link them to many user id's involved in various instances. So if anyone really wanted to find out who the person was, it wouldnt be hard at all. As a matter of fact, just the observation of to two user names being online at the same times (and logging off at the same times or "taking turns") is a great start. The comparing of writing samples also helps. Agaion, there are a few sites taht have free algorithms that can confirm if its the same person and even tell you gender. But good luck to whomever takes this on.

I know...it really is insane. I fell for a few in the beginning as well. Its easy to do. Especially if you are new to BTC. When youre new, there is so much that doesnt seem to make sense (or at least for me). And since I didnt understand how mining actually worked, or what others had figured out before me in regards to growing BTC, I just figured that there were other ways to do it that I hadnt thought of yet. Alas that was not the situation. Just like regular money, it does not come easy or free.

I posted my experience, and loss of BTC here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=593387.0Only received 20 of the 48 promised payments-Stay away!! PS: My post is completely transparent. Transactions linked up and can easily be verified that Satoshi Hype did not live up to their promise It's all in the name and the "bit coin magic". I know some people are "happy" but for everyone that came out ahead there are probably 2-5 people or more that didn't. The person that really comes out ahead in these things is the guy running it. Everyone should consider something like this gambling. Although, you might even have better odds at prime dice. You are absolutely right. It is gambling. And I only did this because a few newcomers had asked me about the site. (I go over the back story in my post). But I remember losing money early on with a few similar sites. So I never gamble with thse sites anymore. But the newcomers had been mining alt coins, exchanging for BTC, and had actually worked their way up to quite a few bitcents. I really diodnt want them to lose everything they worked for so two of them agreed to wait and see what happened with the small amount I sent in. And Im glad they did wait because they now can see just how these always turn out. I wish I could remember the one from a long time ago that I lost a good amount of btc with. I use to have the address saved in my blockchain wallet (eventually deleted it) and I cant remember for the life of me what the name of the site was. I know I would recognize the name if I heard/read it...

Youre welcome. Ive jsut noticed that they also have a thread in this category that is at the top of the list (aka, being bumped to the top). It would be interesting to see just how many people have lost out on this. But like I said, I dont ever take these type of operations seriously. And I only did this because I had two newbies to BTC asking me about it. I hadnt even heard of Satoshi Hype before that. It turns out that both had seen the site promoted through Bitvisitor.com (an established site with a flawless history, that I love and recommend to any BTC user). In between posting the original entry and this reply, I hopped onto Bitvisitor and it is being promoted there. I dont blame Bitvisitor though. Users need to do their due diligence with any "investment". Bitvisitor is a site that charges for promotion. I dont expect them to vet the companies that purchase advert time. Nor would I want them to. If they had to do that then the payouts might drop.

Hey folks, Just a quick post on my recent experience with the heavily promoted Satoshi Hype (satoshihype.com). We have seen these types of sites before; sites that offer an exuberant return if you just send them BTC. None actually disclose how they grow their BTC and Satoshi Hype is no different. As a matter of fact, they go as far as guaranteeing funds by means of "Bitcoin magic". If you saw the page and read the bullet points, you shouldve immediately decided against sending them any money at all. But I always get newbies asking questions about these type of sites. My "Investment" and the return the 50% ripoff:Satoshi Hype says that the minimum investment must be 0.01 or higher. Anything less is considered a donation. So I sent them 0.011 just to trigger a valid investment. https://blockchain.info/tx/9785d584b505448a92e2753c11b95f56030ae9e9b278b1df2a25f6056c11484bPayments are supposed to be automatic, every hour, for 48 hours, until your initial investment is returned along with upwards of 44% interest. This makes for the stated claim of 144% on their page, satoshihype.com. Just in case they take the page down, or change any of the info, I have provided a Freeze Page of the site as it exists as of today here --> http://www.freezepage.com/1399055166SNWHFYGRRV*Out of the 0.011 sent to Satoshi Hype, only 0.0066 was returned. Or, roughly 65% of my initial investment. *20 Automatic payments were made hourly of 0.00033 BTC instead of the promised 48 The last payment received can be viewed here: https://blockchain.info/tx/c2f494f05cf650999dff7cd814ee3ecd23e0f7c5eaa7777c0f5a3ac068ed2ad2Could the site just be having problems with their payments?Sure. But if I was running the operation I would put an update on the front page and be asking the forum moderators on all the popular sites to make my post regarding payment problems sticky so that everyone sees it. They havent done that. Do any of these sites ever "work"These sites have been popping up ever since BTC went to $5 USD per coin. I have lost track of all of the ones I have come across. The short answer is "no". The reason why the answer is "no" is because these sites can never perform for an extended amount of time. Nor do the owners intend to operate them for any significant length of time. These are severly unsophisticated Ponzi schemes that take advantage of the ease of anonymity as well as the ease of appearing transparent. Newer BTC users will see Satoshi Hype's attempt at transparency by showing you their address and transactions via Blockchain and Block Explorer. Newcomers think that that is a sign of trust. Its not. No matter how many transactions they conducted there is no site that can tell anyone how many transactions they are going to make good on in the future. The site dedicates a couple of bullet points - at the very end of the page - trying to ensure any investors that they will always have BTC to pay their investors. But just like every other similar site, they wont tell you how they do that. Do you know why? Because they do not have a method for guaranteeing your funds. Satoshi Hype didnt even try to come up with a good excuse but rather says [sic] "just call it 'Bitcoin magic'". I find that to extremely lame. If you are already planning on running a dishonest operation, why add insult to injury? At least continue the fraud and say that you have backup btc in separate wallet, as well as maybe some mining being done along with this site. But they dont. It shows just how inexperienced they are with BTC as well. Other operations that claimed to be able to pay large returns made the mistake of making those claims and real miners punched holes in their bad stories. And that is why Satoshi Hype did not make those claims. They are so poorly versed in how BTC works that they couldnt even make up a simple lie that would cover their asses Bottom line: If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. These operations pop-up and they only pay long enough to get some trust and the start of a reputation. Once that happens, and word gets out that they "actually pay" or may "be legit", more $ will flood in and then they close up shop, take the $, and disappear. If you want to grow your BTC with as little risk as possible, try lending at a place like BTC Jam. Returns of 5-10% dont sound as sexy as 144% but at least you have a much better chance at getting your money back with the stated interest. Peace -D

I have a question regarding the WDC pool...
I have shares that are showing as an "estimate" for a few days now on my main page. However, when I go to the stats it shows that the shares have been "confirmed" but there is no block # associated with the shares. The block is not listed as "invalid" but I am wondering if it actually is invalid. Or did WDC fork?
Last time it took about 24-48 hours for shares to be confirmed and become real coins. Now, the shares do not even make it from "estimate" to "unconfirmed" after 72 hours.
Any idea why this is happening?

Its always a good idea to have an ebay page when starting any type of online interactions dealing with cryptos. It gives customers an idea of what youre up to, what youve done, and just how well (or poorly) you deal with the folks. I will keep my eye on this project and will make contact as soon as I see a pair that I have been looking for. If you happen to get any of the Lava Dome ACG's in or 95 Air Max in size 11.5 or 12 (non Dyna Wire) send me a PM if you remember.
