just registered. but how do we start the withdrawal process? is there a min payout?

check the FAQ..

minimum payout is 0.021 btc or somewhere around there.

if you make yourself a referral to yourself. There is no minimum deposit, but If you want to see something come out deposit .05 you'll see a payment after 6 confirms.

but make sure you do it under me first.. bitcoinpyramid.com/r/708

Thinking about a reward for return of funds/arrest of phishing site admin
66  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Why is the demand still so high for Miners with returns like these? on: August 12, 2013, 06:59:20 PM
If you buy an asicminer and the price per unit drops, you can buy additional units at a deep enough discounts to make your average purchase price match the new price.

Short term profits can be better than buying a business or stocks. Long term, hope for the difficulty to slow its climb.

67  Economy / Scam Accusations / Phishing site: mtQCx.com on: August 10, 2013, 09:22:07 PM
A friend was up late, he made a few mistakes last night... Searched for mtgox, instead of type it in to URL Clicked on Google Ad, instead of correct link. Didn't see the difference between mtqcx and mtgox. Didn't have 2 step set authentication set up..

I contacted Mike H. At Google and he quickly took the ad down...

Not sure of other actions he took.
I got him to add two factor today after an expensive lesson

64btc stolen from MTGox acct, sitting here. 12U4EvYfcMQXJD6okRLUWBaaeq8h3GN8X3
Any suggestions on getting it back, or catching the guy?
68  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [Beta] - the oldest working pyramid? on: August 01, 2013, 11:53:05 AM
someone mentioned they can't get new people to sign up the way it is set up.

could a second site be set up, that would focus on the advertising aspect?
the pyramid portion would be to maybe "buy shares" in advertising.
69  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [NR 1] Triplemining.com <> BIG jackpot every week <> on: July 12, 2013, 09:48:38 AM
I recently got some more mining power (more than a ruby collector).  I would like to mine on triplemining, but the luck varies too much, if the pool was averaging 2 blocks a day I could make the switch.

Out of 175 members of my mini pool no one is mining right now.  I've seen one person at a time mining rarely.

70  Bitcoin / Pools / TripleMining MiniPool Team OpticBit on: July 12, 2013, 09:47:34 AM
Trying to get my team going again. http://opticbit.triplemining.com

Out of the 175 people in my team, no one is mining.

Its also a little hard to contact many of you, I forget who I joined under, and I would bet many of you forgot you joined under me, just in case, I listed my team below.

would anyone mine in my minipool to get me to concentrate my mining power at triplemining?
If I made the switch, would anyone from my mini pool start mining again?

I'm thinking of doing some type of contest...
i might split my mini pool rewards for the first month- 1/3 To random, 1/3 to the top contributor, 1/3 for me.
My MiniPool Estimated reward would have to hit 1BTC someone would win an ASICMinerUSB.
i'll use the hash of my Triplemining payments as the random number

Lets get this going again.

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we propose Bitcoin to RELIGION? on: July 09, 2013, 07:59:45 PM
Bitcoin came up in a conversation in a line.  Religious person said BitCoin was start of the apocalypse or something.
72  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [Beta] - the oldest working pyramid? on: July 09, 2013, 07:26:28 AM
There used to be BTC bucket, to automatically send BTC on a schedule.  I was thinking of having a small amount of BTC go into my pyramid account so it looks more active.
73  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Recieved 50GH BFL Single Today! on: July 09, 2013, 01:33:18 AM
I think it should be Very Well Noted, that the First BFL Single, Is being put up for sale Immediatley.
Showing what I believe to be Doubt in the product, my bet is that the seller is worried about the lifetime of the product
I have yet to see a running BFL asic that doesnt put out HW errors

Here, let me help cure the speculation.

The hardware is really nice. BFL took a long time to ensure we get a good high quality product.
I do admit though that I would have happily taken any POS months ago that worked vs. a solid product today.
I do understand that wasn't an option for them and is part of the reason I'm glad they are selling their chips.

My rationale behind selling: Getting my long awaited miner didn't help with the frustration and anxiety dealing with
the over promising and under delivering from BFL as a customer.
I would rather see the reminder of that pain gone at the moment. Also, I will be over my power budget of a 1000 Watts
after the others come so a few will have to go eventually. It's currently summer where I live with 110+F weather and increased electricity for
the summer rates. Don't forget the house cooling costs. And most importantly, I believe it will sell for more
than its potential ROI at this point because there are those that gotta have the hardware at any cost RIGHT NOW.
I don't want to deny them the opportunity. Oh yeah, and I'm curious what is the market rate for one of these ATM.
Aren't you?

Sorry for rubbing anyone the wrong way. All the negative feelings of being a BFL customer kind of culminated at the birth of this
thread and the ebay listing. Just couldn't keep my cool I guess. As I've said before. Can't wait 'till all the ASIC drama is over with.
It will be the day anyone can order top of the line mining hardware at marginal cost and have it delivered within days IMO.

Been running This bitforce single @~55gh/s for two days now..
500w cheap psu blew its own fuse.
Have an 800 watt 80+gold one now, just hooked it up a few Hrs ago.
Killawatt says 260watts running, +- 10w for fans
80w idle
running about 65°c in  80°f room
Fairly loud and high piched.  I'll DL a app for the phone to measure how loud later.
Have a raspberry pi on the way.
Had some driver issues, got it going with bfgminer and Luke's uninstall re-install driver.method.  had been running an ASICMiner USB before.

started 1317.

Usuing FPGA/ASIC miner with a USB ASICMiner

CPU usage: max I've seen is 4%
usually around 1% and sometimes less than 0.01%

Real Memory around 60mb VM 2.5GB

looks like the major issues may have been fixed, I'll let it run for the day and see how it goes.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 30, 2013, 09:53:49 AM
I'm using TripleMining

and use minerstatus (android) to tell me when my hash rate drops.

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 29, 2013, 09:41:42 PM
got the latest update..

using 100% cpu, range from 50%-155%  core2duo mobile 2.2ghz

maybe the error messages are part of it?

for now I'm going to leave my miner running without macminer open.

BFG miner using 5mb ram, and 0.1% cpu

dock icon hash rate didn't show up till I clicked preferences..  I didn't touch the check box for it though.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 29, 2013, 09:09:13 AM
seems to run better.

it still ends up getting paused, but it will un pause itself. noticing a small drop in mh/s on the 15min average.

will have to check the 24hr average, looks like it'll stay up for 24hrs this time.

after that I might run it then quit the macminer but let bfg or fpga/asic run in the background.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 29, 2013, 05:08:35 AM
un checking the app icon hash rate box while bfg miner is running shows the hash rate in white, the bar dissaperars.

re-checking the box has no change.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 29, 2013, 04:41:25 AM
oh my mistake 10.8.5 was a typo, should have been 10.8.4...

fpga/asic miner crashed in the same way.  trying the update and then bfg in quiet mode.

and a pref cycle.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The official MacMiner thread [BTC/LTC-CPU/GPU/FPGA/ASIC] on: June 28, 2013, 09:56:04 PM
BFG miner shows status bar.

CGMiner cant find the device, shows status bar, and 0Mh/s

FPGA/ASIC miner doesn't show any status bar in icon window

trying FPGA/ASIC miner in quiet mode.

forgot about the other miner modes.
