61  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 07, 2015, 04:32:30 PM
I apologize because I can't keep track of all the failed parts of the scam.

Which part of the scam is paybase? Why did it fail and why would anyone use paybase 2 with all that has happened since paybase 1 shutdown?

I think the formal name is Paybase Reflux ... tag line: For those that didn't get burned enough the first time around!

Coin Card Website gone
http://www.reservecoincard.com/

Kinda glad I didn't hand over $100 upfront for a premium coin card without application requirements or even any real company information.
Looks like they used a free webbuilder (Wix) and now removed it altogether.

Or maybe something new and better will replace it, who knows. What do you think?

It's gone already? Well, that didn't last nearly as long as I thought...

http://www.reservecoincard.com/ is poof ( archive: https://archive.is/toXg1 )

So, that was approx 7 days?  Taking bets:

(a) a simple mis-configuration by the high-tech GAW Team?
(b) it was a 1 week free-trial offer for the website?
(c) some 3 letter agency told him to take it the f* down because it isn't legal to pre-sale a credit or debit card?

If it's true that garza already owed the company money from soemthing in the past and they only 'sold' 40 cards of the 1000 offered... I'm thinking that they probably at least needed 800 orders to pay what ever the upfront fee (unpaid prior bill?) was...

So, this is another 'dead in the water' project and I'm wondering how they're going to do refunds for the 40 cards sold?  If any are US citizens, they need to turn it into their state attorney general's office immediately because I don't think you're actually allowed to charge for a credit card before you've even run a credit report to see the if the person qualifies... if you could do that, banks would be doing it left and right. The $100 annual fee is supposed to show up on first bill or something.

Grin PayCoin is at 9¢ - my grocery store charges 10¢ per plastic bag at checkout. PayCoin is such a flop, you can't even buy a plastic bag, let alone products with a PayCoin. A PayCoin won't even cover the bottle deposit if you wanted to buy a soda. Why are they even trying to save this turd? It's seems like it's userbase is about 8 people...

I think a lot of people are locked into those stashtakers until next month, so they have no choice. But, when those free up, I think $0.09 will look like a serious upswing.

Can't wait till that day comes and they can't get their coins back because Josh "let" someone else "manage" them.

Everyone has been pointing to the XPYDevs group as responsible for the cashtakers... so, Josh is out of this one since the split.

I create silly memes for silly people.  Thats my thing.
They must know we're going to dissect these videos frame by frame why not try to act professional or at least pretend.

To be fair - put any of us trolls on camera and we would look just as ridiculous. Pretending to be professional is like pretending to be intelligent, it doesn't work Smiley

That said, they could try to find someone more polished to run the show. And I don't mean the cleavage persona from a couple of weeks ago.

I kind of have to disagree... not sure the total population that has a need to roll their hat up like some overgrown baseball kid... but pretty sure people beyond the age of 15yo no longer need to wear that sort of 'i'mma totz jock' gear inside a house 24/7.

WTF is with all the god-bothering and general weirdness at the end?

35 mins in and onwards is just bizarre.

"Oh those evil atheists are trying to destroy paycoin! They have no morals like normal people."

WTF?! Like these fucking god lovers haven't ripped enough people off. They try to blame non-believers for their con failing.

God works in mysterious ways.  I think it is gods will that these people lost all their money.  Doesn't the christian god say you should not worship money?

Technically... they're just worshiping garza and/or what ever paycoin scheme errr team you pick

Isn't he supposed to be some sort of PR guy? And, is he broadcasting from his mother's basement or from the family camper in the back yard?
70  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 06, 2015, 10:41:16 PM

Actually, doesn't he have to prove something of value was stolen?  Well, it's an open source software, so no license fee there. The most he can claim is the value of the XPY and at this rate, by the time it gets to the courts, they'll be moved down to small claims court and his attorney will have to explain to the judge why a couple kb of character strings are really worth the $100 that they're trying to recoup.

And, best part... his $500/hr attorney will probably be waiting in a room filled with benches to argue his case between "the drunk guy trying to say he shouldn't have to pay for peeing on the old lady's front yard everyday for the last year" and "the slum lord trying to get repaid for all the holes left in the wall by the goth kid with anger management issues"

we do know that the middle eastern investor "group" is real (from the email leaks). i dont know if these threats are real but i wouldnt dismiss them instantly.
Can I rip you off for $2 million in USD and see how much you're going to care about a bunch of paycoins that are plummeting in value? AND, once I've ripped you off like that, you're not going to give a shit if they've been stolen by a yak in Tibet, you'll want your 'piece of hide' out of the person that ripped you off.  Then, Garza tried to back peddle and say he gave over Phil's info so the investors could seek legal action... well, how the fuck would they do that? Their only legal recourse is through/against Garza. Pretty sure that's how it works in all countries that use attorneys instead of guns for litigation.

who is sending CoinFire shit ?
For all we know, Garza's kid killed it's guinea pig and he thought it would be cute to mail it to Coinfire because he was coked out of his brain and pissed off. Who ever did it is disgusting and I definitely don't put it past Garza to do something like that.

Phil looked like he had anxiety
Phil might not be a great business person, but he is def not in Garza's psychopath league. I have more respect for him after watching that video and thinking about how he acted here. He tried to gain acceptance, seemed flabbergasted at the response... but at least he went out and got rid of the domain privacy service on his domains. So, he did take the interaction to heart and try to do something positive with it.
73  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 06, 2015, 04:21:20 AM
IMO the entertainment value provided by this whole debacle has far surpassed xpy's market cap.
I commend philanthropist Phil for standing up to Garza, however it does look like he stole the coins and is now extorting him.
Not the brightest idea to extort a serial extortionist (who is known to spend large sums of money on his extorting) who has your name/address/etc IMO.

I like this new character that they've brought on... it was really starting to get redundant and I'm just no into the whole 'fork a new coin' story arc... I think that's just a red herring to run out the clock. BUT, with this new character, I think we have a chance for either renewal for another season or maybe even a spin-off show of some sort... like XPY International Edition... I definitely think this will carry the show through until the SEC start rounding up folks, then that will be it's own prime time special... maybe even a week long mini-series!
74  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 06, 2015, 03:07:49 AM

wow, does that read like garza fantasy land or what... Garza steals 3 million+ USD from them and they were going to be happy with a couple million paycoins and controllers?  Talk about complete bull shit! And, given that I think we have a trade embargo going on with Russia... I'm guessing that SEC FiCEN will love those statements... almost a million dollars invested by a russian citizen, where's his KYC submission on that one?

Why would the guy who's been scammed the most want to protect him? If Fraser even glances at those emails, he'll realize what a liar Garza was about everything. He's lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to this guy; what possible motive does he have to protect him?

well the answer is of course, to protect him self. if he can protect Garza its less likely more shit will drop on him

But is there any evidence he's done anything wrong? I guess he would know more than us, but nothing so far has pointed to him being anything but the protomark. The only thing he's guilty of is trying to hide financial difficulties from his wife.

Homero Joshua Garza:

"The CEO who failed the hardest, 2015"

Congratulations on yet another major internet award

Don't jump the gun, Cryptsy and a bunch of others are also working hard for that title.  I think we can't award it until Thanksgiving when all the other turkeys also die.

The fact that he is part owner of a company that committed a shit ton of violations, some of which are criminal.  For example, say he'd funded Garza in a scheme to sell cocaine but never once touched the product (but knew that was the revenue stream)... he's still a drug trafficker even though he never used, touched, or personally sold cocaine.  Cantor Fitzgerald is on public record as promoting Garza and his scheme. So they're a bit more than just 'silent investors' when they jumped into the PR side of the house to market this thing.

Stuart Fraser of Cantor Fitzgerald is balls deep in this as it was his money that enabled the scam... so, yes there are people who have a history of paying off politicians that have a vested interest in this fiasco.
