The Paycoin Foundation (TPC) https://paycoin.com/10 Votes 12 Funded Nodes 125,000 XPY each 100% stake rate 1 Empty Node 125,000 XPY burned *XPY.io 2 Votes via proxy A bit of a math issue here? They had 12, burned 1, gave 2 to xpy.io. Shouldn't it be 9 votes + 2 by proxy? They still have 10 votes. 12 Controllers = 12 votes 2 nodes proxied to xpy.io = 10 votes 12 funded controllers - 1 funded controller burned. They still get the vote at the moment. Since no one ever really decided what happens if a controller is burned? The controllers can vote out a controller as a bad actor and Paycoin Foundation has said they fully expect the burned controller to be voted off the island as a bad actor and therefor reduce the total number of controllers in the mix (not accounting for rogue controllers that are out there) You realize that every single change of that nature is a hard fork? If there was any sizable community (hahahahaha) it might be a bit difficult to get them all to upgrade when nobody in charge gets along.

OK. Enough is Enough. This crime must be reported.
"this goes against everything crypto stands for" Well, not really. He gave up his private keys, that's exactly how crypto works. Your key is your proof of ownership, not some forum post or chat.

So they just burned 125k XPY but not the key (impossible really to burn it and meaningless now that we have the leaked ones) and did not forfeit the vote. Kinda pointless.
"Prime controller" is becoming ambiguous because it can refer to the magic key, the 125k coins, or both.
Good Point! That controller should be automatically out a regardless since it doesn't meet the requirements.

Hmmm... almost like those coins were immortal hashers or something, huh? And, seriously... to all those other "investors" looking to fluch more of their fiat into the GAW shithole.... you could probably throw scrabble tiles on the desk, pick three, and invest in what ever coin that comes closest to and do better than keeping with the CEO who will probably start an entirely new category of "The CEO who failed the hardest, 2015" (I honestly hope all that ranting is actually "The investors I've ripped off are threatening to squash my ass into a corner if I don't get their coinz back!")

Stuart Fraser of Cantor Fitzgerald is balls deep in this as it was his money that enabled the scam... so, yes there are people who have a history of paying off politicians that have a vested interest in this fiasco.

Why would the guy who's been scammed the most want to protect him? If Fraser even glances at those emails, he'll realize what a liar Garza was about everything. He's lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to this guy; what possible motive does he have to protect him?

ROFL. According to Homero everybody in charge is the same group and gets along just fine.

Good Point! That controller should be automatically out a regardless since it doesn't meet the requirements. I have 13 keys, so I think I should get 13 votes. Everybody else that has these keys should also get 13 votes. The People's Coin at long last! P.S: I am actually entitled to an additional vote for the PC I won fair and square in the Cryptsy Poll that they subsequently reneged on, so 14 votes for me.

well the answer is of course, to protect him self. if he can protect Garza its less likely more shit will drop on him unless he can of course show that he knew nothing about it. which seems to be at least partially a lie

I guess he would know more than us, but nothing so far has pointed to him being anything but the protomark. The only thing he's guilty of is trying to hide financial difficulties from his wife.

He's lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to this guy; what possible motive does he have to protect him? The fact that he is part owner of a company that committed a shit ton of violations, some of which are criminal. For example, say he'd funded Garza in a scheme to sell cocaine but never once touched the product (but knew that was the revenue stream)... he's still a drug trafficker even though he never used, touched, or personally sold cocaine. Cantor Fitzgerald is on public record as promoting Garza and his scheme. So they're a bit more than just 'silent investors' when they jumped into the PR side of the house to market this thing.

Congratulations on yet another major internet award Don't jump the gun, Cryptsy and a bunch of others are also working hard for that title. I think we can't award it until Thanksgiving when all the other turkeys also die.
