62  Other / Meta / Re: ban all signature campaigns. seriously on: May 28, 2016, 06:04:05 PM
If you think that things are going to get better if you keep creating threads on this matter, think again. There are plenty of threads about it; you've made two with zero argumentation.
look, there have been bots posting using bixmixer campaign ads and I had to close a thread that was being spammed by the bots. signature campaigns are nothing more than an invitation to spam this forum for money. I think it's time that all sig campaigns be removed.

Edit will lock this thread as I see the other threads now.
63  Other / Meta / ban all signature campaigns. seriously on: May 28, 2016, 05:58:27 PM
I was removed from the YoBit signature campaign. I do not care so much about that as there a dozen other campaigns I can join. what bothers me is that there are people who are on yoBit who are actually spamming the forum. I may have used to "echo post' but I will refrain from doing that now. Ill only talk about things that matter, such as the spam on this forum from signature campaigns.

I hearby call that all signatures be removed, and thus clearing up the clutter in this forum.
64  Other / Meta / Disallow signature campaigns on: May 26, 2016, 01:57:43 AM
I've seen a lot of members spam this forum with signature campaigns. I was posting original content, but never reached the essay that most sig campaigners demand. It's also an opportunity to grow as their shitty members want. there should be a fair and balanced team keeping these spammers off the forum. Ypbit accused me indirectly of spamming the forum.
65  Economy / Lending / Re: requesting .02 btc loan, will pay back 0.023 on: May 21, 2016, 08:51:39 PM
I can probably do this for you however please post repayment date and we'll need a reputable escrow
I will pay back on Wednesday. I will find the escrow now.
66  Economy / Lending / requesting .02 btc loan, will pay back 0.023 on: May 21, 2016, 04:38:34 PM
as the title says. i will use this account as collateral. I would also like to work with a trusted escrow.
67  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit removed me from their signature campaign. on: May 21, 2016, 01:44:29 AM
I do appreciate you guys' feedback. i will admit I have made "echo posts" quite a bit on this forum and from this point on I'll stop doing that. I don't have any money IRL and this is a total drag. I wont starve, but i won't be able to participate in iRL activities I enjoy. i guess i'll move on and find another signature campaign,

I guess I'm joining another campaign. I get requests from people all the time to code for them, so maybe i'll just stick to that.
68  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit removed me from their signature campaign. on: May 21, 2016, 01:26:55 AM
Those are only two liners but i don't make many of those kinds of posts often. Usually I am trying to add to the discussion. They are on topic and relevant, and they are good posts. They may be short,  sure. i wouldn't mind not being paid for those posts. But banning me? it seems like people like pick on me here. I have said before I am low income. Yobit would like me to starve for not writing enough
69  Economy / Scam Accusations / YoBit removed me from their signature campaign. on: May 21, 2016, 01:02:36 AM
I got removed from the yoBit signature campaign on the basis of writing "half-assed" posts. i find this tro be incredibly insulting as I genuinely try to contribute to the community. i also am on topic and come up with good ideas, and have made trades and done business with other users and had no problem with 777coin. I am basically advertising to them for free.

go through my posts and you'll see what i'm talking about. I demand to be paid for the posts I have made, or i will leave negative trust.

I also have cerebral palsy and i type differently. this is totally discriminatory.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: May 21, 2016, 12:51:40 AM
If you don't have any other money I would recommend just hold on to it. Bitcoin will continue to grow and the places to spend Bitcoin is growing, and it may one day fiat currency.
71  Economy / Securities / Re: Pig Farm Investment. on: May 20, 2016, 05:44:09 PM
This seems pretty shady. how are we supposed to trust that you have a pig farm? also, as mentioned by others, if the price of bitcoin goes up how will you pay back investors? i wouldn't trust OP.

Edit didnt notice the crosspost. will leave negetive feedback.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: May 20, 2016, 04:41:36 PM
I'm hoping after halving the price of bitcoin will double. i can't say It's a solid prediction, but i'm sure the price of Bitcoin will be over $1000 by next year. And it would be more stable than the last time Bitcoin got to this point.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: May 20, 2016, 04:35:17 PM
I'm pretty bad at it and I don't make as much as I used to.   But I don't have credit cards so I don't live beyond my means.  I guess I'm not as bad as I used to be.
About the same story here, never been too good with my money but i have been getting better lately. At least my rent is always up to date and bills paid.

I also don't have any credit cards, got 1 sent to me as soon as i turned 18 i think and it went very bad but that was years ago now so i lernt my lesson the hard way on that.

Since my work hours got cut when sales went down a few months ago i have had to survive from paycheck to paycheck.
I actsually have a lot of credit card debt myself and I'm on a pension. I spend more money than I earned. The real thing that screwed me over is maxing out my credit cards. Now I have little money except what I earn here.
74  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: May 19, 2016, 10:53:36 PM
I took a trip to New York City to improve my coding skills and everyone there told me that 9/11 was perpetrated by 19 Islamic hijackers. i'm sorry to say but i think that 9/11 was carried out by 19 hijackers brainwashed by Osama bin laden
75  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: May 19, 2016, 10:46:31 PM

Are you fucking kidding me?

Science is not based on faith, but the testing and further testing of hypothesis..

You don't have faith in your testing?

I do.  You don't?

Nope, that is in fact opposed to the scientific method.  From Wikipedia -

Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing; or the observance of an obligation from loyalty; or fidelity to a person, promise, engagement; or a belief not based on proof; or it may refer to a particular system of religious belief

You may not LIKE that satellite measurements show certain values, and they may not be in accordance with your BELIEFS, but that's all not relevant to the scientific method.

Additional tests may be devised, and exhaustively, they are put against the hypotheses, in efforts to beat the null hypotheses.   Singular or plural.

It may be of interest to you that it's a very strong argument that "global warming" is not even a scientific hypothesis.  Also, "warmers" have a number of curious arguments that are blatantly unscientific and which should always be objected to.

"the science is settled."

"The consensus is..."

Then there's the "Precautionary principle."
I agree that there is man-made global climate change, as this has been proven scientifically, most posters in this forum may not believe in global warming, but it's not relavant to those on this forum who are accustomed to the scientific method. global warming is real and it requires a lot of government inervention to stop.
76  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drugs fuck you up, man on: May 19, 2016, 10:31:29 PM

The fact of the matter is, marijuana used properly heals you of all kinds of things that medical drugs don't.

Smiley

You're really tiring me... Get the fuck out of here weed doesn't heal like any magical plant you dumbass...
I'm a medical marijuana user. I wasn't able to get over my social anxiety before smoking weed. it's a drug that does many things to heal people. if marajuana were legal there would be less mental illness
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 19, 2016, 09:26:31 PM
Yea except that a certain someone holds an estimated 1,000,000 Bitcoins. A dump of that magnitude would rip through all of our safety nets. And it would likely trigger a domino effect along the way, sending regular Bitcoin holders into a panic-selling frenzy.

The dwellers of the We Are Waiting for $100/BTC thread will be happy, lol
Lol, yeah. every community has their trolls. i guess the trolls in the $100 dollar threads will shut their mouths once bitcoin (continues) to soar. particularly this summer when the blocks halve.

No, they will go totally wild
Well, i suppose how all trolls act. Check out some of them that have a signature campaign. they're really making a profit.

79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: May 19, 2016, 08:00:51 PM
i created this thread to see how the community would react to the posting of this topic. there has even been a counter-thread to this thread I posted on how people in fact do make money in the long term from gambling. The casinos may be provably fair but for the average African bitcoiner, gambling on these sites listed in this section may be a huge mistake. On the other hand, some people have money to burn and love card games. I will also comment that it's good to see some casino sig campaigners talk straight about gambling as I did in my OP.
80  Economy / Economics / How good are you at managing your money on: May 19, 2016, 07:49:24 PM
While we are all here on this forum to earn one way or another, how well do you manage that money after you've earned it. Do you trade your Bitcoin as fast as you can spending it all in a day or do you save it? I recently got paid for a job I did in programming and i keep finding myself wanting to spend more of that money i made. I have a lot of credit card debt and that is not good. I have destroyed only two ofg my credit cards to which I owe thousands of dollars on.

how do you spend your money?
