Wow thanks for this great tutorial, you really stated all necessary details that we need for claiming this free coin. i write this topic when SV was for $106 now it's for $45. i don't guess SV will survive and it could drop more to be $25 or even less.
I think the civil war hasn't ended yet and its current price is now $64. but i don't guess price will stay up for long time. mostly will drop again.

Hi, Iīm absolutely new to this forum. So first: greets from Vienna, Austria!
Maybe a silly question but I canīt figure it out without your help:
I have BCH at atomic wallet and they decided to support only ABC side. With your guide I can import my privat key in electron-wallet (so I put my privat BCH (ABC) key from atomic-wallet into electron wallet - correct?), Then I can switch to SV Network and than transfer e.g. to Huobi BCH-SV wallet (they support both: BCH-SV (BSV) and BCH (ABC).
BUT: when I import my privat ABC key from atomic-wallet into electron-wallet what happens with mit BCH in Atomic-Wallet??? It will empty this wallet - or? Or does atomic-Wallet keeps the ABC coins, cause I have only sent SV coins to Huobi??!!
Please for help!!! Alexander
your ABC coins should stay on your atomic wallet as long as you're connected to SV chain and moving SV coins. however, if you're sending SV coins into wallet or exchange that support both SV and ABC there will be no problem when moving both coins to new supported platform. if this tutorial was helpful please support me with any small donation let me know when you need any further help. Best of luck! Hi, that means after I imported key (from atomic ABC wallet) into electron I can send SV Coins from electron (over SV network) to Huobis SV adress and from atomic-wallet I can still send the ABC coins to e.g. my ledger (also supports only ABC)? Did I get you right? Something is irretating me: I have seen on Huobi, that ABC and SV adress is the same... So would I send from atomic bch to huobi, then they would only arrive on Huobis ABC side, cause atomic is on ABC side - right? Thatīs why I have to do way over electron and SV network - correct? yes both SV and ABC has same addresses, but each has diff network (blockchain). that's why if you're sending SV to platform support both SV and ABC (as like Huobi) there will be no problem to send ABC instead of SV by mistake. but it's very important to choose SV network from electron wallet to work on SV blockchain and send SV coins. SV price now pumped and got better during last 24 hours, i guess it's good chance to sell it now, it was dropped to $37 but now price is better. any small donation is welcome! Best of luck Something went wrong. At Huobi the SVs deposited, but on Atomic the ABCs also disappeared... Shit. Seems that Atomic wallet broadcasts both sides and cause I imported key in electron-cash from atomic, the ABC side has seen the transfer in Atomic and alle ABC coins are gone, cause I sent over SV Network from electron to Huobi, ...... did you got your ABC into your Huobi wallet? maybe both will be transferred into Huobi wallet while it has same address for ABC and SV.

Why are you suggesting people sell right way? The hash war is not over yet and SV may end up more valuable than ABC. It's better to just keep both coins for now and see how this plays out over the next year or so. It's impossible to predict these markets so you don't want to keep all your eggs in one basket. It's always best to hedge your bets.

i'm using blockchain.info wallet, how can i export keys into electron?
1) Download and execute this: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/blob/master/bip39-standalone.html (Right click and Save as...) 2) On "BIP39 Mnemonic" space you have to insert the seed of your wallet, the 12 words. 3) You will get the list of your addresses and their private keys. i suggest you do this while you're offline to stay secured. any donation is welcome Is this free? I am not BCH holder. Can I still claim free bch sv? only if you have BCH you can claim free SV. if you're old Bitcoin holder you could claim free BCH from here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2078292.0

Is this apply for exchanges or will it like many forked thing so far. Have and still have on one exchange some small amount just to say that i have it, and that exchange send email about forking, will they do it, they done it in the past with forks of bitcoin.
mostly all exchange sites give users SV coins equal to their BCH balance. therefore you can simply sell SV instantly from your exchange site' account.

This is a very good and useful article. It's great when someone can explain and help others. I saw this fork and watched the market the week before. And I thought getting my coins was a lot easier.

Hello everyone! As long as BCHSV is recent hot topic these days, and i notice many people still don't know what is BCHSV and how to claim. BCHSV is new fork of BCH (Bitcoin Cash) coin. but last 24 hours, BCHSV lost more than %50 of it's value after it's fail in replacing orignial BCH (ABC). to claim your new forked coins, i wrote article for How to Claim BCHSV detailed with screen-shots. Hope it will help all beginners to claim their free coins before it lost value by the time. here is tutorial url : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5070999.0if this helped you don't forget to send any donation Good luck and have good day!

been trying to read as much as i can and i still have unanswered questions. what happens to BCH that is held in private wallets? i'm using exodus. what happens with my bitcoin core wallet that was eligible to claim BCH? will i still be able to claim BCH or will i be able to claim ABC/SC instead?
yes you can claim new SV coins and exchange into bitcoin or into original BCH. here is step by step : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5070999.0

Can you tell me about this? can i still claim my bitcoin SV if i'm holding bitcoin cash at exchange site which has not yet supported this fork coin? Do i need to do that? I'm a bit confused because this fork was crating a new two coins for bcash holders and can i choose one of them?
if you have private keys for BCH you will be able to claim SV. you choose what to claim by changing network. some are for SV and some are for original ABC. i show in my details how to connect to SV chain to claim it. if you're using exchange site it's not possible to claim your SV till they give to their users.

Thank you very much for your detailed and good narration. I don't have bcash or any others, but I'm sure it'll work for everyone.
I don't like Bcash and other new forks, but the useful topics for the forum are always important to me. Thank you so much.
thanks for your kind words!

same happen on bittrex. but later they restored BCHABC to BCH as it's the main BCH coin. and keep BCHSV as BSV.
