Hello I am quite late here but I am mining it now through minergate i want to withdraw my earnings but I can find where I can download the desktop wallet can any one send me the link to download I am using windows x32
Here are unofficial binaries by Arux (bottom of page #122) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.msg12901324#msg12901324You will need to sync the blockchain and remember that the wallet is CLI (command line interface) there is no working GUI (graphical user interface) at this time, so you may need to learn how to use the commands. If you cannot find a daemon/wallet use how-to within this forum, google search for a Monero how-to it will be the same. Hope this helps. I remember someone built an unofficial GUI a while back. Have not tried it or heard about anyone else trying it though. Also, @robelneo 32 bit Windows is not usable. I had hoped the pruning branch would reduce memory usage enough to make it work, but it was still not quite small enough. You need 64 bit currently. He could still make a paper wallet for cold storage. No need to sync blockchain for that.

Who is in charge of website development for Aeon?
* jwinterm nominates languagehasmeaning ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) If I was well qualified to help in that area I would. Unfortunately I am not the person for this job. If the right person if found I am more than willing to help fund him/her.

Self-moderated thread for discussion of Aeon trading and price speculation. Can you update OP with the new logo? Has Bittrex responded to our new logo update request yet?

Info about glibc vulnerabilityYou may have heard about the recent glibc bug. If not here is one article about it http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/02/extremely-severe-bug-leaves-dizzying-number-of-apps-and-devices-vulnerable/While we do not believe that aeond is directly affected, it is possible that a call to the vulnerable getaddrinfo function could occur indirectly via some library. For example, Arux found a call in the miniupnpc library that is used by anond. Therefore, if you are running an anond node, we recommend you make sure your glibc is updated to the latest version (would need to have been released in the last few days), and then restart your node after rebooting. If you built a static Linux binary (most people would not have done this) then you will need to rebuild it. While we don't think that Windows is affected (because it uses Windows libraries rather than glibc), Arux is creating a new Windows build of 0.9.6.0, which was missing in any case. Once that is ready all Windows users should update. That is a reassuring response. It is nice to have a developer who remains on top of things even in cases where a threat may not exist.

I've been looking at this thread for a while now without participating as i consider myself as a really bad chess player.
Congratulation to everyone as it was really interesting to follow a game between players who know how to play!
Ask questions if you have them. That is how you learn! Resign : 6 votes (Morecoin Freeman, tifozi, swogerino, boolberry, marcus1986, languagehasmeaning)

What is the planned follow up to h6? I looked at Qf5 and f3 because it is hard to activate either knight without dealing with e4 first. I am worried about 25.h6 cxd5 26.cxd5 b5 which looks precarious for us. h6: 1 vote (GoldTiger69) Qf5: 1 vote (languagehasmeaning)

I'm looking for an exchange where I can deposit some XMR and change them to BTC without or with very little fees. If XMR is falling I wanna change to XMR again and so on. And then I wanna cash out the coins to my wallets again without or with very little fees.
Anyone knows an exchange that is able to do this without huge amounts of fees?
And without long registrations?
I recommend BITTREX. I switched to them after polo started requiring ID. Bittrex will require ID soon as well if I recall correctly. We need decentralized exchanges (with liquidity).

Great news everyone! We were just awarded /r/aeon (a top level subreddit) to use as a community home on Reddit. This is clearly preferable to /r/aeoncoin. So we'll start the migration there and I welcome everyone to visit us at www.reddit.com/r/aeon Thank you for taking time to pursue this. I am very happy that your effort was successful!

I implemented payment id into my pool code running at https://cncoin.farm. Please check it out and see if everything works well for you. You can mine directly to your account at poloniex or whichever exchange you want. Please do not recommend your pool users mine directly to exchanges. I have seen Poloniex say explicitly that they do not appreciate the practice. Encouraging that kind of behavior may discourage Poloniex (or other exchanges) from adding Aeon or other CryptoNote coins in the future. This is about more than just Boolberry. If we want to see CryptoNote coins traded in more places (like China) then we should discourage sending dust to exchanges. Lets make things easier for exchanges not harder!

are there any chess for bitcoin games out there?
Gambling on chess online for bitcoin is a really bad idea no matter how good you think you are.

OP has not logged on since December. His post was probably meant to promote the 4 coins he mentioned and nothing more.

Transaction fees all go to the network. Are you referring to the 10XMR fee for importing existing wallets?
MyMonero adds a tiny extra transaction fee on outgoing transactions. I think it was 0.005 but I could be wrong. Thanks for correcting me. I don't use online wallets and my memory must be incorrect.

Any guess for a timeline for a reduced database release of Aeon similar to Monero's latest release? I would love to move some of my coins to a cold storage box, but I don't think I can run it currently.
If your goal is cold storage why would you want to run the daemon at all? You can just create an Aeon address by running simplewallet on an offline device (or live USB/live CD) and send to that address. Even a very old computer can run simplewallet. Also, to all: Fluffyponyza said that MyMonero is open source, but I don't know how to copy it. What would be a suitable bounty for someone to implement an Aeon version? 10,000 Aeon? I know that's not much now - but this person would also make a lot in transaction fees over the next few years.
An online wallet might interest some people but the demand may not be great assuming smooth delivers on the CryptoNote GUI reasonably soon. Transaction fees all go to the network. Are you referring to the 10XMR fee for importing existing wallets?

Who has ideas for growing the size of the Aeon community? The development plans are exciting and more people should know about what is being done here!
